What do we know of the organization called "Cernunnos"? Heard they were active at the Siren Isles.
Currently, not much. Our contact with the Titan Chasers, and thus any intelligence on the Siren Isles, is limited. For now, we simply have Cernunnos registered as a group of interest and our doing what we can to keep track of their activities.

Titan History: Abaddon
Tumblr media
Welcome once again to Monarch: After Dark, the digital gateway between you and the organisation dedicated to understanding and navigating this troubled new world we live in.
For today's communication, we turn to the shadows and dive in to take a look at a Titan that may well pose the gravest threat to humanity out of them all, slowly waiting for its time to rise. Arachnophobes be advised, you may want to turn away, for we are diving into the progenitor of spiders, Abaddon.
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: Body scans of Abaddon from the ORCA-Sigma, circa. 2024)
Monarch Database File: Abaddon
Monarch Designation: Titanus Abaddon
Height: 323 feet
Weight: Unknown
Nature: Bio-Fossorial
Behavioural Classification: Destroyer
---
An arachnophobe's worst nightmare, the story of Abaddon is remarkably spine-chilling, and may well spell humanity's darkest hour one day. A colossal arachnid, Abaddon is uniquely armed with a set of jaws lined with peg-like teeth and elongated fangs at the front. Its eight legs are adorned with a light coating of fur and spikes, turning them into potentially effective weapons when grappling with other Titans. The strangest and most disturbing part of Abaddon's anatomy is its cephalothorax, which bears a close resemblance to an enlarged human skull.
Fear runs through just about every aspect of this Titan, even the circumstances that led to its discovery are enough to make one shiver. A Monarch archaeological expedition to caverns beneath the Nazca Desert revealed an Incan description warning of Abaddon, and subsequent deep-earth scans uncovered a gargantuan spider den with the skeletal remains of an elephant partially cocooned and displayed as a warning to intruders, as well as a snare for potential prey.
Abaddon's most notable and frightening ability is the hive mind that it appears to share with the Plague Weavers (a closely related superspecies), as well as potentially all known spider species in the world. Through this shared consciousness, Abaddon can command its arachnid army to do its bidding, spying on potential targets or clearing out an area ahead of the Titan's own arrival. Disturbingly, historical evidence suggests that Abaddon uses its minions to reanimate carcasses of other species, including humans, manipulating other species after death to serve its will.
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: Abaddon rampaging on the surface, prior to engaging Kong, circa. 2024)
Much of Abaddon's ancient history is unknown and still being uncovered by Monarch teams, though current speculation of Abaddon's relation to other arachnid species and superspecies suggest that the Titan may have planted "sleeper agents" among spider populations, serving as an army hiding in plain sight for when Abaddon calls upon them.
Eventually, Abaddon found its way to Devil's Tower, Wyoming, where Monarch would eventually find the Titan and construct Outpost 77 to observe it. In 2019, Abaddon was among the Titans awakened by Monster Zero, though there is an argument to be made that Abaddon was never truly dormant.
In 2024, following the destruction of Mechagodzilla, Abaddon would emerge in the western United States and take over a city, using its webbing and Plague Weaver army to forge a new territory. When David Martin, a concerned father, travelled into Abaddon's territory in search of his daughter, Abaddon sought to kill the man itself, and made use of its Plague Weavers to do the job as well. Through use of the ORCA-Sigma, a device stolen from Monarch by Alan Jonah's Hyena group (and stolen again by Martin), Kong confronted Abaddon and drove the Titan out of the city.
To this day, Abaddon's current whereabouts are unknown.
---
And that's all she wrote for Abaddon! Speculation from outside sources, such as Bernie Hayes' Titan Truth Podcast, have caused considerable public unrest regarding Abaddon and its capabilities. Unfortunately, this time, we cannot offer any reassurance without understanding for sure how Abaddon operates. In the meantime, perhaps it may be wise to give a second thought to stepping on that spider crawling along your floor...
Until next time,

Also, about the strange occurrence that I accidentally forgot to mention was that there were these guys that invaded my house, said to hand over the samples, but, turns out they were just some wusses, they ran away just from a snore from Lucifer, I saw that there was an emblem on the back of their suits too: Something with like a skull-like face with skeletal tendrils from the sides with the words "LIBERATION OF TRUTH" on it. Do you perhaps have any records surrounding this? I think they're perhaps some illegal organization? Cult maybe?
It is good to hear from you again, G.S.M. We have recieved your previous message and Lucifer's profile, excellent work! There's certainly a bright future at Monarch for you.
Regarding this event, while the insignia and slogan you've provided for this group aren't currently within Monarch's list of "groups of interest", it would not be surprising if they were part of some sort of Titan cult or underground criminal group. A fair number of these have risen in the wake of Alan Jonah, some are even funded in part by money from his organisation.
We'll send in a report and look into this matter further, but in the meantime, we look forward to future updates on Lucifer. Keep your guard up, though, in case this group turn up again.

Monarch: After Dark - "Where Have We Been?" Update
Tumblr media
Welcome once again to Monarch: After Dark, the digital gateway between you and the organisation dedicated to understanding and navigating this troubled new world we live in.
To be somewhat more informal this go around, it's been some time since our last communication through this platform. With the After Dark team splintered between the ongoing Skull Island expedition and our mainland headquarters, we simply haven't had as much time as we would otherwise like to work on this platform. On top of complications that have emerged on Skull Island, times have been turbulent for the After Dark team, but we are looking forward to returning.
With that out of the way, much has happened, and we would like to take the opportunity to walk you all through some of what to expect from this platform in the forseeable future.
---
Tumblr media
"Survivor Instinct", "Declassified" and "Isle of the Damned" Reports
After a long period of waiting, we are happy to announce that we have finally been granted access to all the data from recent Monarch data reports, codenamed "Survivor Instinct", "Declassified" and "Isle of the Damned".
We now feel confident enough with the information presented in these reports to return to our Titan History series, covering Abaddon, Lahamu, updates on Kong, Tiamat and Behemoth, and (somewhat depressingly, according to some on our team) upgrading "Doug" from a mere superspecies to proper Titan status.
For the Superspecies History series, we here on the After Dark team will have our hands full for quite some time. The menagerie of known superspecies native to Skull Island has been significantly expanded thanks to the efforts of our expedition teams and the recovery of field logs once thought lost to time. All that, of course, on top of the Hollow Earth fauna we are still to dive into and take a closer look at. Expect plenty of superspecies reports to come!
Tumblr media
Upcoming Special Reports
A highlight of this platform that we rolled in to break up the stream of dedicated Titan and superspecies entries, Special Reports served as a chance to give the public a look into Monarch's world beyond the monsters that we deal with on the regular.
The last time we ran an update entry, we included a poll to see what topic our viewers would want to see next. The winner of this poll, by an overwhelming majority, was a deep dive into the Monarch Classification Team (MCT), the folks responsible for touring the world and the Hollow Earth beneath in search of new creatures.
That report will come in due time, but we have other equally exciting topics to explore, including landmark events in Monarch's history, and peeling back the layers of our Earth to explore the Hollow Earth in-depth.
Tumblr media
"Adventure Reports" Updates
A rare sub-series on this platform, Adventure Reports are reserved for those few-and-far-between opportunities for members of the After Dark team to be active participants in Titan or superspecies-related activities. Our previous report saw some of our members teaming up with a civilian operative group in Tenerife, discovering the Trident Dragons residing in Masca Bay, and following that came the chance to return to Skull Island to document how the island had changed following the destruction of its ecosystems by a catastrophic storm.
As mentioned at the start of this entry, complications have arisen following the arrival of some of the After Dark team to the island. Once more, our exploratory team had underestimated the scope of the mission after a drone sweep of the terrain outside Outpost 236, and the unexpected return of previously assumed-extinct species (learn more about them here) to the island's surface have further delayed exploration. We unfortunately lost two of the After Dark team to a Vastatosaurus attack, and given how tight-knit the team is behind the scenes, they were difficult losses to process.
We will provide updates on the Skull Island expedition when we can, but we would like to set the expectation that updates will be infrequent. It is not recommended to post to social media whilst your team is being ambushed and eaten.
---
And that's all she wrote for now! We are looking forward to resuming a semi-regular uploading schedule, teaching everyone about the Titans and more, and making sure the public stay in touch with the latest developments as we learn about them!
Until next time,
Monarch: After Dark

So uh, it's been a while. Anyways, here in Rockhampton, things have been rough. So, uh...turns out...Skullcrawlers have gotten into Australia, yet...they're blending seamlessly with the wildlife, as if it was NATIVE to australia. Also, I killed a baby one when it was tryna eat one of my cats, little bugger was like 12 feet long, 5 foot at the shoulder. Anyways, just wanna ask; have there been any records of cave drawings regarding skull crawlers found in australian aboriginal records? Just so I can know if the skullcrawler's are native or invasive to Australia. I personally think those skullies are native to australia, and invasive to skull island.
Sincerely, G.S.M, Queensland
Thank you for this report, G.S.M, good to hear from you again. Hope your cat is okay.
As a matter of fact, there has been some recently-uncovered fragments of cave art that appear to depict Skullcrawlers interacting with ancient Aboriginal populations, among a select few other Hollow Earth fauna in other parts of the world.
While Monarch still maintain the belief that Skullcrawlers originated in Hollow Earth, it's not completely out of the question that populations of them may have migrated to the surface prior to the known group that followed the Great Apes to Skull Island.
Be sure to keep us updated if you uncover further information.

Why aren't there more mammalian titans? Is it because it's hard to be warm blooded and a big fuck off creature?
There isn't an abundance of mammalian Titans simply because we are yet to discover them.
Given the dominance mammals hold on the surface, it would be hard to imagine that the Titans do not possess a similar biodiversity.

How does Monarch tells the difference between monsters and regular Fauna when it come to Australia?

Fossil here in New York. Relaying this on behalf of a neighbor of mine back home in the borough of Queens in NYC, more specifically the neighborhood of Elmhurst.
Even after the whole Abaddon thing months ago, my neighborhood in Queens is still reporting sightings of large spiders. Hell, I just got off the subway at Elmhurst Avenue and one of those little bastards nearly tackled me onto the tracks! NYPD and Animal Control aren’t doing their jobs. I’m staying indoors in the meantime with the doors and windows locked, but I’m scared those things will find a way in. What do I do?
Thank you for the report, Fossil.
It seems as though remnants of the Plague Weaver infestation that Abaddon had brought along with it have continued to persist and evade Monarch capture efforts. Our best advice to your friend would be to find some sort of firearm or an object that can be used to stab or bludgeon the creatures if needed.
A Monarch team is en route and should be in the area soon.

Just arrived at a Monarch civilian outpost, my mom's currently getting me a titan-observation card, so I can safely document big ol' Lucifer legally. The internet here is spotty, so hopefully this makes it to you guys over at After-dark. Anyways, the observation card I asked for is level 8, so I think I'll be able to have free reign of observation over Lucifer soon enough. Anyways, that's all for now.
Sincerely, G.S.M, Queensland
Thank you for reaching out once more, G.S.M.
We are glad you were able to get in touch with an outpost. Supervisors can be a bit stingy handing out Level 8 access, but we'll be sure to get in touch with the outpost and put in a good word for you to smooth the process over.
We wish you all the best in your research!

Sup, G.S.M from Queensland again! So, uh, I found Lucifer again. Turns out he burrowed beneath the entrance city of Rockhampton, you know like the entrance point that takes like an hour to reach? Okay, I'll stop specifying, so, your probably wondering how I found him...his head is beneath my fucking house, if he so much as gets up, me and my whole family is going to tumble to death. Also, explaining how I found out he's beneath my house; he's making mini-earthquakes with his snores, also one of my dogs manage to dig deep enough and reached his nose, impressive to be honest. Sincerely, G.S.M, Queensland
Thank you for updating us, G.S.M.
Both this and your prior communication regarding Lucifer's battle with a humanoid crab (this does not fit anything in our current Titan database) are alarming to say the least. As per the advice we gave in your first report, we would strongly urge you and your family to head to the nearest Monarch evacuation shelter, there should be one in Rockhampton.
Or, alternatively, if you are continuing observation of Lucifier, there is a Monarch civilian outpost in that area. They are marketed far more discreetly than official outposts (and technically speaking, we shouldn't be recommending it), but given the circumstances, civilian operatives will be quicker to respond.

Monarch: After Dark - Mission Recruitment
Tumblr media
Welcome once again to Monarch: After Dark, the digital gateway between you and the organisation dedicated to understanding and navigating this troubled new world we live in.
Following from our scheduled roadmap of planned entries for the foreseeable future, we announced that the After Dark team were invited to join in a mission to explore what has become of Skull Island in the 6 years since the Camazotz incident.
We can confirm that those of us who have agreed to tag along with the expedition team have now arrived at Outpost 236 and are waiting for the remainder of the team to arrive, which should be in the next few days.
That said, drone sweeps of the island have resulted in an increase of scope for the mission, and thus an increase in the number of personnel required. As such, we have been requested by Outpost 236 supervisor Aaron Brooks to put out a call for potential recruiters.
Tumblr media
Ideally, we are after potential Monarch personnel who keep tabs on this platform for situation updates, or those outside Monarch with the ideal expertise for the mission.
The team requires additional trackers and soldiers with experience in navigating difficult terrain and unruly weather conditions, wildlife experts able to identify changes in the behaviour of fauna following dramatic changes to their habitats, and palaeontologists, as the drone survey revealed some old inhabitants of the island may well have resurfaced...
All those interested in joining the Skull Island expedition should get in touch with us here on Monarch: After Dark through the usual communication channels. Provide a name (surname will do just fine), area of expertise you are looking to support on the expedition and prior experience that we should be made aware of. If you are selected to join the mission, details of where to find the ship scheduled for Skull Island will be docked.
We hope to hear from you soon. Additionally, feel free to spread word of the mission so that we can reach an increased range of operatives. If you choose to do so, please tag your entries under "MAD return to skull island" so they can be found more easily.
Until next time,
Monarch: After Dark and the team at Outpost 236

New sighting! Something like a big stick bug, almost? In Oklahoma of all places, too. Spotted while on a hike in the mountainous region in the eastern part of the state near the Arkansas border. Approximately the size of a 747 plane, I'm guessing that means possible superspecies? Anyway, it ignored us. Was the color of walnut tree bark and scared the crap out of me at first because I didn't realize it was an animal! I've been calling it Hamilton. I love it.
Thank you for the report.
From the description, it sounds like you may have encountered a Spore Mantis or other adjacent superspecies. Fortunately, it chose not to be aggressive. Rest assured, Hamilton will be well taken care of, and far happier when it is relocated with its own kind.

Reporting a Titan sighting in the Philippines. My friend, who is one of the locals in Palawan Island claimed to have spotted a giant, manatee-like creature with the size of a traveling bus. My friend and her family were about to go fishing during a sunny day but when they reached the shores, they saw the creature lying on the shores with half its body in the waters. At first, they thought it was a dugong but the creature had numerous white blotches all over its body and it appeared to be dead because it wasn't moving until they approached it. That's when it suddenly woke up and yawned at them before crawling back to the sea. Fortunately, it didn't attack them. But the creature's identity still remains a mystery.
Thank you for the report.
Based on the size estimate you have provided, it appears that the creature encountered may not have been a Titan, but rather another superspecies . Either way, it is fortunate that nobody was harmed, but rest assured local Monarch teams will work on identifying the creature and taking precautions so no harm is done in future.

I was out fishing when saw a small titan that like a blue Titanus Tiamat. It looked at me before swimming off.
A curious encounter, though we can at least confirm it was not Tiamat herself.
Where did you spot this Titan?

My family and I were flying to Canada from Europe for a trip. As we flew over Baffin Bay, right in between Greenland and Canada, I saw a nuclear Icebreaker ship from the window. As it was destroying the ice, we witnessed something horrific. A giant serpentine beast breached from the water and split the ship in half. It shot straight up like a bullet and then fell back into the water. It soon coiled around the two parts of the ship and brought it down under the sea. Im not sure what it exactly was, it was like a sea snake and great white shark hybrid. It's body glowed with a bright seafoam-ish teal color. Please have Monarch inform the local shipping companies, and investigate Baffin Bay, so no more lives can be lost.
Thank You,
M.S, Italy
Thank you for the report, M.S.
Local Monarch teams will be enroute to the scene, local shipping companies have been contacted and asked to keep out the water until an all-clear is given. A temporary base will be established in Baffin Bay until the Titan can be further identified and suitably contained.

Monarch: After Dark - Roadmap for the Future
Tumblr media
Welcome once again to Monarch: After Dark, the digital gateway between you and the organisation dedicated to understanding and navigating this troubled new world we live in.
It has been a short while since our last true entry, as we have had a surprisingly eventful October. The After Dark team recieved files under the codename of "Survivor Instinct", and just a couple short days ago, the After Dark team were treated to a little Halloween adventure...unrelated, but there are now three vacancies open to join the team.
Now, with so much to cover, we would like to present a little update about where this particular platform will be headed for the forseeable future!
Tumblr media
"Titan History" Series Updates
Our recent acquisition of new informational files have allowed us on the After Dark team to learn more about some of the Titans we have covered previously, as well as a new Titan offspring. The Titans we have learned new information regarding are as follows:
Kong
Tiamat
Abaddon
Lahamu
While we can go ahead and launch updates on Tiamat and Kong, as well as cover Abaddon and Lahamu in greater detail with their own entries, we will not be doing so just yet. Another series of Monarch files, labelled simply as 'Declassified', is still being decrypted and put together before we are able to properly discuss it. From what we know, new information on Behemoth, Amhuluk, and potentially further new Titans will be included in the Declassified report once it becomes available.
We here on the After Dark team greatly appreciate our audience's patience while we wait for the Declassified report to be completed.
Tumblr media
"Superspecies History" Series Updates
While we have to wait for new reports to come through for the Titans, we are able to at least bring you some new coverage on the other superspecies that roam our world and the Hollow Earth beneath us. Expect to see the following covered on our platform in the coming weeks:
Drownviper
Tree Mimic
Parrot Frog
Wart Dog
Vertacine
Plague Weaver
Spineprowler
"The Randas' Besitary" (compilation entry)
Tumblr media
"Special Report" Series Updates
Of course, in between profiling creatures and other Monarch activities, we will continue to bring you all Special Reports, detailing how we run things at Monarch, or other aspects of the world we currently find ourselves in.
There is currently no set plan for what the next Special Report will be, but there are some ideas being floated around the After Dark team and our off-site consultants. A small poll will be available below, for you to select which Special Report you would like to see first:
Tumblr media
"Adventure Report" Series Updates
Now, the final set of updates we would like to give concern our smaller "Adventure Report" series, where we explore the rare event that members of the After Dark team are brought along for front-row seats in Monarch expeditions or dealing with rampant superspecies.
We weren't expecting to have any updates for this series on the platform, since we never really know if any of our members will be assigned to active teams until they're getting ready for deployment, but we just received word from Outpost 236 (formerly the Kong Containment Dome on Skull Island) that a unique opportunity has presented itself.
In the six years since Monster Zero's storm fused with the perpetual storm system surrounding the island and ravaged it to the point where Kong could no longer be suitably housed there, much has changed, and Monarch would like to find out what. In the past few weeks, a team has been assembled to explore what has become of Skull Island in the years since the storms, and to see what may be prowling along its surface now.
Expect to hear more about "The Return to Skull Island" once we make our arrival at Outpost 236 and receive further details about the mission.
Tumblr media
---
And that's all she wrote for the forseeable future of Monarch: After Dark...for now! Be sure to expect much more from us in the future, a variety of content coming your way to further inform and offer a deeper glimpse into our monster-filled world!
Until next time,
Monarch: After Dark

I have a sighting I'd like to inform you of. I was in Stanage Bay at the time, riding across the ocean on a speed-boat with my uncles, we were going to check some of the crab-traps, but, we were interrupted when the waves suddenly went wild, and I MEAN wild, I nearly fell off the boat. When I looked over the side of the boat, I could see practically ocean wildlife moving away in mass populace. And then finally, humongous scaley tendrils emerged from the depths, pinning into the ground and pulling out what they were connected to out of the seabed. It had a large, bulky and robust body, and large robust legs seemingly made altogether of tendrils, the same to the arms though the tendrils weren't so tightly together. Me and my uncles immediately went back to shore and ran home, but the thing seemed to walk the opposite direction. Personally, I merely call it Lucifer, cause of its hellish color and wings, along with the three eyes. I believe 'Lucifer' was around like...700+ feet tall and had like a wingspan of 1,500+ feet. Sincerely, G.S.M, Queensland
Most concerning indeed, thank you for reporting this sighting.
Rest assured that Monarch teams local to the area are en route to investigate, though we do advise you to head to the nearest Monarch evacuation shelter as soon as possible.
