My Hysto-story
The problem started back in 2008 a year after my youngest was born. I was at work one day and I got this really bad pain that I was doubled over and I had to make up an appointment with my doctor and she suggested I go see my gynecologist. I will schedule an appointment with my gynecologist but she was not available so I got to see you one of her colleagues. She proceeded to tell me that I had a hemorrhagic cyst that we need to be taken out.
I really didn’t want to have surgery so I just let it go on and on and on until flash forward to February 2021 I got another pain that was really bad and so I called my GP and she told me that she wanted me to refer me to gynecologist since I also had. Or a cycle that I hadn’t had in a year and a half so I went to the guy know when he did a vaginal ultrasound and found that I had a cyst in my life ovary and he next session he wants your next appointment he want to do a vaginal ultrasound with a biopsy biopsy on my cervix. So then I went back and took a biopsy and found that I had fibroids in my cervix and I had a cyst in my life ovary and referred me to a oncologist gynecologist. An appointment to go see her and found that she wanted me to see she suggested I get a hysterectomy. Hysterectomy was scheduled for April which I thought was in May so we had to reschedule the April surgery to May then we had issues with my insurance so we had to reschedule for June all the time I was in pain really bad pain every once in a come and go. Finally got everything figured out and so my surgery was scheduled for June 4. I had to do a bowel prep and that was gross and horrible and will not go into detail about that so then warning of June 4 morning of June 4 I was anxious and nervous scared everything you can think of and I was so scared of poop in my pants because I had to do the bell prep staff reassured me that no big deal if I did have any sort of accident that it happens all the time they seen everything so that kind a relax me and I also put some pads on in case and they happen. So then after that I asked the anesthesiologist to give me something for my anxiety and when they gave me that I was pretty much out of it it’s just remember bits and pieces and waking up after the surgery. OK after surgery I was OK kind of groggy and then my husband and I noticed that I had a bunch of like a rash on my face and come to find out that I was allergic to either the anesthesia or the gas they use for the laparoscopy hysterectomy. Went home around one or 2 o’clock and came home felt pretty good crashed woke up the Fillmore pretty good but then like day 2345 were Painful still on Tylenol 600 no skip that title ibuprofen 600 and walking around trying to get all the gas out taking a sex store softener and other medication and feeling pretty good just get a little tired after walking to the mailbox and back I will post more in the coming days

Why surgery?
Back in 2012 I was in a really bad car accident (my fault) that most likely resulted in my knee problems in the future. 2 years later I was trying to Zumba that resulted in a torn meniscus. Next 2 1/2 years were really tough that resulted in cortisone shots, PT and gel injections that didn't work.

Surgery
On 2/15 I had my right knee replaced. There are so many things your doctor or their PA's or their coordinators do not tell you. The first one that comes to mind. The surgery center was supposed to call a few days before surgery to schedule me or additional testing. Did anyone call? No because the drs team did not send my info to the center. So I had to leave work early but they needed me to do this now! Continued tomorrow
