Zack and Kinn are easier for me, I think, because they're pretty in touch with their emotions (after a certain point anyway) and openly caring, so it's easier for me to write them.

Sephiroth is harder due to the emotional repression and being so reserved, so I'm constantly wondering if I'm making him too open. I don't really avoid writing him though, because I'm stubborn XD

fictional kiss things that end me

being unable to open their eyes for a few moments afterward

one small kiss, pulling away for an instant, then devouring each other

pressing their foreheads together while kissing

speaking normally, then after the kiss their voice is hoarse

guys furrowing their brow when kissing passionately

staring at the other’s lips, trying not to kiss them, before giving in

running their thumb over the other’s lips

when they lean forward a fraction as if to kiss the other person, then realize they shouldn’t and pull back to stop themselves

ripping the other away - “no we shouldn’t” - but when they kiss them again they moan and hold them close

one sliding their hand into the other’s hair slowly

their entire body freezing for a second when their love kisses them

accidentally being forced inches apart from each other, staring at each other’s lips, and just before they kiss someone pulls them back apart

when one stops the kiss to whisper “I’m sorry, are you sure you-” and they answer by kissing them more

a hoarse whisper “kiss me”

then licks their lips and says “please”

1. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

i tried writing and posting some fics without trying to make them perfect. i think it went well. i don't feel super confident about them but the idea was to just write something and put it out there without getting bogged down by perfectionism. i might try it again

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer?

i'm anxious as hell and have focus issues. i need to find a way to reduce distractions when i write and also how to have more confidence in my writing

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

oh man that's tough. all of them made me pretty happy, since i struggled a lot to write this year and was super happy i was able to finish those. i think correction? it was fun, i knocked it out quick, i think it's pretty good, and the concept made me happy

scrivener! i love it!

literally any of my wips i just added like three more to the pile i'm overrun 😭
