Sometimes I feel very odd about gender in that I feel I am forced into this third position of subgender that is not nonbinary per-se, but is a lower wrung not rewarded the dignities of a defined socio-gender. I feel uncomfortable calling myself a man or a woman, because in both scenarios I feel like an imposter in the social sense, where I am stripped of the concrete perception of either, and the social niceties that come with said definite perception. Hmm.

Maybe it's just me being privileged from being in fandoms (and the actual show/comic/whatever) that actually analyze their characters farther beyond their base level traits, but the camp here and there fandom just.. doesn't do that.

sure, I've seen dozens of text posts about sydney and jedidiahs relationship, or sydney and elijahs relationship, but I want to see other characters looked into as well!!! not just how the main three interacts !

I think it 100% has to do with how the podcast is actually written, so i can't put the blame entirely on the fandom, but it still sucks seeing characters with alot of potential being dumbed down to one time references and their very basic character traits. like I said, the podcast is victim to this too.

I don't want to see sydediah rant #500, I want to see people look into characters and pick them apart that aren't sydney, jedidiah, or elijah!! and I'm not talking about Adam either!!!

if your only interpretation of the other characters in rhe podcast that still have fairly large roles in the story is their basic character trait, I'm going to judge the hell out of you.

none of u actually understand the characters and its chipping off at your understanding of the podcast as a whol

Agai, the fandom isnt entirely to blame, ive noticed alot of the fandom is on th younger sife and maybe not as experienced in analysis, and also the podcast is very guilty of introducing characters with potential ad then writing them off as jokes / one character trait (COUGH COUGH JOSHUA) but id still love to see people at least tryy to better understand the characters

you guys like soren alot, why not start there? look further into his relstionship with the grave diggress!!! look further into how he acts and why he is the way he is besides just silly mold necromancere

Hi!! Feel free to have a go if this is intrusive, but I asked another of my moots about how their gender felt/was to them (coming from a cis person trying to be more educated!) who gave a great answer, but also said I should try asking other people too!

In your bio you say "any pronouns" - I know that's not strictly related to gender identity, but if you were comfortable with sharing, I'd love to hear about what gender is to you/what your feelings are towards your pronouns!!

omg hiii moot!!! its not intrusive at all!!! basically i’ve had a really weird experience with gender i think? when i was younger i honestly couldnt care less about labels and steriotypes and i think thats sorta carried on into now? when i first started highschool (time has flown so fast since then!!) my friends were very label heavy people (HOWEVER they did manage to help me come to terms with being queer) and i went through hell trying to figure out what boxes i was supposed to tick for different things!! i ended up coming out as nonbinary first then a man but i still never felt like any of it really fit since im not opposed to she/her pronouns, being called a girl or what i thought was my dead name and it kinda restricted me into even more boxes since theres so many boxes trans guys have to fit to be “man” enough (which i could rant about for like 100 more paragraphs so i wont!!). after splitting from those friends i realised that the pressure i’d been put through to label myself was NOT healthy and i kinda just realised that my gender was a mess and that was okay! i feel like people should realise that gender barriers are just constructs and it’s a beautiful spectrum that shouldnt be so heavily sectionised and steriotyped!! anyway i dont use any labels now and im fine with people using whatever pronouns (yes that includes neopronouns) or names they think are coolest and suit me (my birthname is diann tho :3) !!

So I’m pretty certain at this point that Sydney’s resurrection was in fact preformed in the forest that surrounds camp. For a few reasons, namely the Belov animatic and Sydney’s apparent confinement to the camp… and also this

This is from file 19. For those unfamiliar with the agents terminology: SITE1 exists somewhere within the forest beyond camp, ENTITY2 is Sydney, “the limn” (a term which I suspect to be derived from the term “liminal”, which means ‘occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold’— in reference to Sydney’s superposition’d life within the camp… camp here and there… haha. Ha. Here and there.) as I understand it is the existential anomaly of/ caused by Sydney’s resurrection… and ENTITY5 is Soren. The altar in question being his necromancy altar.

The numbers suffixed to each entity/ site ARE SIGNIFICANT, they appear to order each site/ entity in terms of “most likely to be responsible for the limn”. So… Jedidiah being ENTITY1 and this forest area being SITE1, Soren building his necromancy altar there, Sydney not having been there since the limn… raaaaagh.

Note, SITE1 is not the forest as a whole, SITE1 is said to be located within the forest. “The fact that [Soren] built its altar [in this specific spot in the forest] cannot be a coincidence”, “this is the first time [Sydney] has visited [this specific spot in the forest] since the limn” and the mention of hypoxia-like effects when being at the site… grgrhgfsgdg… I AM BASHING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL HHHHSHDGDGHHH. Anyways if you ask me, this exes out the “Sydney was drowned in the lake” theory, but I guess they could co-exist. Also this is just a theory… (a game theory). BUT LIKE IS IT A THEORY? IS IT OBVIOUS TO ANYONE ELSE? WAS THIS EVEN A QUESTION LIKE YES HE WAS RESURRECTED IN THE FOREST BEYOND CAMP RIGHT?

sydney is the limn- the world as it is is built off of his mind and memories. he sustains the world and the world sustains him - thats how jedidiahs keeping him alive.

he cannot get hurt within the camp while hes powering the world, and the world cant go back to normal while hes there. thats why jedidiahs never worried about sydney till he leaves camp.

"life worships you"

tem treats sydney like a god bc the world comes from his mind, even if he dosent know it.

his memories are hard to remember bc they are being used to power the world. all of sydneys weirdness turned into the weirdness of the world, his childhood trauma manifests as centipedes around him, and the medicine works like it does in warrior cats bc it took his memories of the books to make it- this also means all the warrior cat books are cannon in the world of camp here & there.

to bring sydney back from the dead jedidia "tore the universe apart for the sake of his muse" he reshaped the world with sydney at its centre, warping everything he knew to save him. sydney giving life to the world in all its weirdness and in return the world giving him life "life worships you". sydney cannot die with the world in this state, he is always fine, and the world cannot go back to normal with him at the centre of it, giving it its life as its givin to him.

the elephant man worships him as the being that has changed the world and the one that will bring it back. to give his life to save the world. the only way to stop the apocalypse is to kill sydney in this ritual, bringing the world back to normal with his sacrifice.

MY THEORY IS BUILDING IN EVIDENCE. BECAUSE THIS IS SUCH A MASSIVE PARALELL TO… WELL… yk.
