For the menstrual cycle mod- if I disable menstrual cycle/fertility system, will adult sims (actives and in-actives) still be able to through menopause given that I enable menopause in the tunings?

Hey anon!

Hope you are doing well. The menopause only occurs for sims who have a menstrual cycle. If a menstrual cycle is not added for those sims, then they will not go through menopause.

Hi! I was trying out your Menstrual Cycle mod and have a dumb question. In the settings tab, the unit of the tuneable values of the length of each segment is hours, right?

Hope you are doing well. The length are in days for each segment. This was done to avoid alarms for each sim and potentially being more heavy on the game. Just incase anyone was wondering.

Hey sorry if this is a dumb question but about the only sims section of your mod how do i take a n@ked pic 😭😭, like every time my sim is in the shower i click the option but my sim already out & in clothes

Hello Anon! The method to take a naked selfie is to have your sim naked and then select your sims smartphone and find the take nude selfie interaction either in the Simstagram or OnlySims section. I use a modded "Get Naked" interaction that I believe I got from a list of third party nsfw mods that I got from a nsfw guide. Unfortunately, I don't recall which guide I read from. However, in order for your sim to take a naked selfie, your sim needs to be naked and then the option to take a nude selfie will be selectable.

I'm lovingggg the new period mod, but can I ask if there's an option to make it avaiable for male sims? I play with transgender men a lot (as a trans person myself) and I cannot make it work for them :( I know not a lot of people care for that sort of realism but I do *sobs* Thank you!!

Hope you are doing well. I can implement an update that will allow menstrual cycles for sims of trans experience. I'm currently working on the next major update for Vile Ventures. So it may be a bit before this addition is worked on. However, I will get to it after I am finished with the next Vile Ventures major update.

i just wanted to let you know the vile ventures 1.1.1 update caused my game to generate infinite service sims.

i removed the updated version from my game & it started to work like normal. not sure if this is cuz of the recent ea app update but just letting you know!

This is a common issue that was faced if you didn’t update the battery c# script utility mod. The new version of battery’s c# script utility can be found on nexus mods. The one on Mod The Sims is outdated. The link is in the installation guide.

thank you for answering about taking the other mod parts off. i just wish the menu options didn't show on younger sims.

The settings only appear after selecting MonocoDolls‘s Vile Ventures… Avoiding selecting that on younger sims will prevent you from viewing the setting options for the mod. Additionally, none of the settings are applicable to younger sims.

Hi I'm loving the menstruation cycle mod, thanks for sharing!🤩 One thing though, I tried to set the default setting to false for all sims using the xml file but it seems that would not work. I know there are in game tunable options but as soon as I loaded my save, the menstruation cycle was enabled for all my sims in the town including the university npc llamas, delivery sims so I had to disable the unwanted sims one by one. And plus, the disable option only allows me to select 10 sims from the list at a time so I have to go back and forth to disable them all..Would there be something that I can do to set the default setting to false before I load a save? Thank you😭

The tunable xml file does not work. As the functionality is taken away once ingame tunables were set up. I kept them in the package file incase I ever needed them. As of this moment, the default option is set to true to enable Menstrual Cycles by default. I can increase the amount of selectable sims in the setting options when a list of sims pop up. However, I would like to test this first to ensure it doesn't crash your game if someone were to pick a huge amount of sims at a time from the list. Next time I get a chance I will try to test it out.

Hi, I'm having an issue with your vile ventures mod. I've had the older version and could use the drugs fine, but now my sims can only take gummies and roll joints(but can't use them). I've read the installation guide and I have the other mods installed. The expansions seem to only list that they are only necessary for moodlets. Any tips?

To smoke a joint, you will also need a BIC Lighter in your inventory.

my question is, is there a way to take out the "extras" in vile ventures, such as the simstagram, big dick problems, onlysims, & natural trails. i'm only interested in the drugs portion.

There are no ways to only install parts of the mod. The Vile Ventures mod is about earning money in unconventional ways. So far the only main money making activities include Drug Dealing and OnlySims. And more money making activites will be added in the future. There are no plans to make seperate versions as that would take time away from developing new content and will kill my passion if I have to remake previous content. You can however, completely ignore whatever features you don't wish to engage with.

hi, about the menstrual mod! loooove it and i just downloaded the bug fixes about the plan b reset and poke hole everyone is arguing bug, however, im getting an issue where i cant do anything with the pill which is supposed to be a pain killer one. i do not have the vile ventures mod, but i have downloaded the animation packs. is there a nother mod i need for those to function? i cant interact with it

The painkiller pill is only an animation prop for when you are taking Birth Control or Plan B in the Menstrual Cycle mod. Painkillers are included in the Vile Ventures mod with their own effects.

MonocoDoll's Menstrual Cycle 1.0.0 Hot Fix 1.12.25

Hey everyone, there was a bug that was brought to my attention that needed a fix asap. Additionally, there was another minor bug fixed.

Major Bug Fix

-Resolved bug where using the poke hole interaction would cause your sim to always be argued with. If your sim had already poked holes on a condom, simply poke holes on a new condom after installing the hot fix. This will remove the broadcaster that is stuck on your sim. Additionally, I removed the reactions from poking holes on a condom.

Minor Bug Fix

-Resolved bug where your sim would reset if they used Plan B without being pregnant. Your non pregnant sims can now use Plan B.

The hot fix can be located on Simblr.CC or Loverslab (Simblr.CC is giving me error 500. So I'll just provide the link to Loverslab for now)

is putting battery’s script utility in the override folder a requirement? Or is this just something you do to troubleshoot an issue? Bc I have it in my package folder. Sorry I’m a dummy😭

It's helped a ton of people. I too did not have it in my overrides folder and my game ran fine. But, it's something that seems to fix issued for others.

Hello ... Thank you for your mods

I was testing period mod and came across 2 issues

whenever sims take birth control/B plan it will always cause it to reset the sim.

I tired poke condom . the male was alone when he did it. but after that whenever he's in the same room with his wife they will cut off any action they were doing and start argue about condom and lose relationship. even his brother start argue with him about that !! . putting new condom did not solve the problem.

Thank you so much for catching and reporting these bugs to me. I went ahead and released a hot fix.

-The Poking Holes interaction on a condom will no longer cause your sim to always be argued with. This was caused due to no cleanup method. For now no reaction will be given to a sim who is in the same room as you when you are poking holes(This was meant to be a cut feature. I'll leave it in, but no reaction). Additionally, you should be able to fix your sim by poking holes on a new condom. As a cleanup method was added in.

-Plan B will no longer reset your sim. The reason why your sim was reseting is because they were not pregnant.

-As For Birth Control, I could not find any issues with it. Could you elobarate? Do you maybe not have the vile ventures mod installed? If not you need to download the animation files if you do not have it.
