Ughhh I have so much to say about them. I don't even know what I'll do when (YES WHEN) they'll actually interact. They're two of my favorites, so that might explain it a lot. I'm just so obsessed with how well their characters' themes go together. It's not really THAT much about the romantic aspect.

I love the way they interact with toxic masculinity in very different ways. Dae-ho really just suffers from it, while Nam-gyu uses other characters' feminity or lack of masculinity against them. They both want to present as strong (again, both in different ways) but fail.

They have similar scenes where they're on their bunks bed having their lowest point in the season, both showing the viewer how vulnerable (therefore not strong = not masculine👎) they actually are.

Besides that, it's just the little things!! The way they're both clingy with their teammates, always fixing their hair, kinda greedy with food, two of not many sg characters with tattoos (besides their dead baddies), the whole "I can fix him" and "I can make him worse" dynamic.

I'm not really sure what way their relationships will go in s3. Probably not a great one. But my headcanon is that they will both suffer since I hate fun and happiness!!!

My love for them has always been there❤️
