Review of Thieves' guild in Gnaar Mok by Alice
Honestly, I ended up being super disappointed with this. I think it accomplishes what it says on the tin. But while it advertises 10 quests, and I like the overall plot presented by the quests, the actual quests are a bunch of 'talk to 1 npc then return for 500 gold'. The monetary reward is silly, as it rewards about 8k gold for what is honestly relatively easy thieves guild work.
There was 1 highlight and quest that I found fun and interesting which involved breaking some people out of the ministry of truth.
The quests have seemingly no alternatives to completing them(which, given we end up killing 4 people along the course of the quest, 1 of which absolutely should just be able to be resolved via a conversation), which was by all means disappointing.
The questline was completed by me in about 20 minutes. While I didn't expect unique models, having no rewards other than the same fixed sum for most of the quests was just very videogamey. The dialogue in general was also very much 'fit for purpose' and lacked flavour.
Other minor quibbles are the greeting based quest progression, rather than topic based. I was completely unable to find all of the required objects for the second quest, which absolutely may be on my head. The thieves guild is incredibly murderous and conspicuous in this. the quests should have been longer/less but stapled together.
For things I actually did like, as said, the overall plot is good, it's cute and appropriate, the scope of the quests feels appropriately mundane, with a little better delivery, I think it'd really have pulled it off.
Unfortunately I don't really have any as-modern alternatives to suggest, other than PTR. I wouldn't say it's an awful mod, and it's the work of one person and should be seen as such, but maybe a smaller scope would have been better. I won't be keeping it installed in further playthroughs.

New Ilunibi Review
Honestly, of seeloths stuff so far, this is what i've disliked the most, I think the dungeon is super ugly, not very navigable. I get that it's meant to be disgusting, but the assets are just kinda ugly and just, there, the dungeon isn't constructed very well in my opinion, though maybe it's just coming off of seeloth's other work that I'm left with these feelings.
I don't think I like his dungeon design mentality, (which is not to say I think it's objectively bad, people appreciate it, and it's clearly both a lot of work, and a lot of *good* work, it just doesn't appeal to me very much)
The quests in this one are pretty bad though.
The only good point I would give it is I think the 6th house armor set is actually pretty interesting, though they don't make much sense for me in terms of where the 6th house is located, they're cool and nice to look at, and while I also think the whole nakedness thing is actually kind of an iconic and softly thematic part of the sixth house(evoking divinity), it's still cool.
The weapon given by one of the quest givers is so not-morrowind that it actually pisses me of that they'd put it into the main quest and it being in the same mod that gives the sixth house armor set just feels a bit incoherent, I wouldn't say this one is worth experiencing.

ReadMe - Library of vivec (Just quest) Review
I'm beginning to think seeloth can't make a dungeon without spiders, but it's a fun dungeon crawl, the story has some interesting characters and a fun plot, the dungeon surprisingly didn't overstay its welcome for me(but on a lower speed character would probably be somewhat tedious) Lotsa loot, but you have to explore for it a bit, but it's a bit generous, fun if useless enchantments on the items. That said, visually the dungeon was pretty bland, if mostly because it takes place in the most cramped fucking ancestral tomb that is just a hellish corridor. Highlight was absolutely the father of the 'antagonist'. Full credit in terms of entertaining dialogue. it'll not survive another playthrough, because I don't think it's a dungeon I'd want to do again, but it was worth experiencing.

Dawnbreaker - The Lady of Light Review
I kinda knew what I was getting into with this, given its basically marketed as 'its for the weapon'. But yeah the quest and dungeon aren't much to speak about, its basically a tiny fight that immediately rewards you a very strong weapon, ironically it's listed under 'fair and balanced'. The sword is pretty, and I think it is a well fitting rendition of dawnbreaker
Easiest removal from the modlist of my life, this is literally just a 'do you want a shiny sword', the dungeon also has a few issues despite how tiny it is. though some of those(negative light points) are openmw exclusive. There's gaps in the floor.
honestly I question my mentality in downloading this mod, but, the model is good, and if you just want a new shiny thing to play with, and don't care much as to how you acquire it, this might be for you.

Andrano Ancestral Tomb Remastered Review
I'm honestly split on this, I fucking hate the dungeon, it's so ugly and overly cluttered, it's also just..nonsensical, doesn't follow the design principles of the dunmer tombs in general. It's also just got a bunch of 'moddy' stuff(ropes as traversal, strange dialogue).
BUT, I think the roleplaying options it gives are really nice, and it presents a few new problems in your way it won't survive the purge, but I like what the quest expansion is going for, maybe a more focused main quest overhaul would be something that fits what I'm looking for.
I really do like that you can do a more 'temple' playthrough of it, (though that's after you've already ransacked the place lmao)

Bal'laku - The Lonely Towers Review
Honestly, it literally only adds a tower and a bit of lore, the npc is nice, if a bit of an encyclopedia. The quest feels very shoehorned. Cute, but it'd not survive to be in another playthrough, ooabifies the local area, which I guess is kinda the 'point' of the mod It's visually nice with baan binif I guess, not a lot to say I don't personally understand the number of endorsements, but only because it's just a pair of pointy rocks. If you want the visuals to complement Binif, I think that's reasonable.

Tales from the Ashlands - The Great Hive Baan Binif Review
Honestly its a very pretty dungeon, fits well into the world and is short and sweet, only did one of the quests, but overall I thought it was a cute mod.
For some fucking reason it had spiders, like every other morrowind mod ever made apparently though only a tiny section Has a little bit of cute loot, nothing crazy The biggest plus is honestly the vibes and appearance I'd say its honestly such a nice integration to the world that it might survive the purge, since its so unintrusive, its not giving you crazy loot, its got some roleplay opportunities and the dungeon, while not being so intensely vanilla, is also not so intensely moddy, it just comes off as a unique jaunt little bit of oaabification here and there but I'll survive

Investigations At Tel Eurus
I'd posted these on discord, but I wanted to post them here so maybe other players could get a feel for which mods they find worth installing. Preface: All mods are being done in a roughly random order and being done with the mentality of being purged. A mod being purged doesn't mean it's a bad mod, but it does mean I didn't find it worth experiencing more than once. The reviews will get more coherent as I proceed.
Review: Sooo, investigations at tel eurus was fun, better than the astrologians guild imo, fun investigation and much much more interesting characters not as long aswell which is nice, astrologians guild kinda dragged since it was just so many dungeons this also rewards you with too much shit though you just get a buncha items vomited on you at quest completion the floating islands are generally pretty nice to look at and easy to navigate there was a spider part which kinda gave me anxiety(even though the spiders look like mudcrabs from me using a model replacer) for about an hour I was a bit confused as to what the fuck I was meant to be doing a bunch, finding random fucking objects on the floor is surprisingly not the greatest way of pushing the story forward. so I had to rely on the tips, which were thankfully helpful.

Green eyes shouldn’t actually be considered an eye color. It’s just not common enough, it’s a VERY SMALL percentage of the population, 1-2%. Green eyes are also caused by an irregular mutation. Most people have blue or brown eyes, so those are the two eye colors.
All the “green eyes” positivity is actually a bad thing, by the way. Having green eyes is linked to higher rates of retinal melanoma. You’re celebrating something dangerous that can cause suffering.
And besides, most people with “green eyes” lean closer to blue or brown anyways. They should just make up their minds and be brown eyed or blue eyed. And if it’s too hard to tell, they should get corrective surgery (because green eyes are dangerous, and associated with more difficult medical care!) or at the least wear contacts so they don’t confuse people. But also they should be required to
I hate to sound like this, but green eyes are a far more recent development than blue eyes in the mutagenic history of humans. So humans weren’t created to have green eyes.
And hazel eyes? Those are just a variant of brown eyes—come on, they’re far closer to brown than green. They just have a couple greenish traits. And there’s no way there’s that many green eyed people, or a wide variety of eye colors… It’s just not natural.
I don’t have a problem with green eyed people, they didn’t ask to be born that way—but there’s just too few of them for it to be an actual eye color. We don’t need all this “green eye positivity” or putting green eyes in media. The internet is making people delude themselves into thinking it’s more common than it really is.
‼️ THIS POST IS ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF INTERSEX PEOPLE ‼️
✅ I HAVE GREEN EYES THIS IS SATIRE ✅
⚠️ PLEASE DON’T SEND ME ANY MORE THREATS OF VIOLENCE IN DEFENSE OF PEOPLE WITH GREEN EYES?? ⚠️
💧 THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT EYE COLOR?? IT’S ABOUT INTERSEXISM AND BIGOTRY 💧
