Eschatological Explorations Pt. V: The Mark and the Man

In this next step of our journey, we will discuss an age-old mystery: the mark of the beast. What is it? How do we interpret it? And what might that look like for our modern world in a practical sense? We also know that Hollywood and pop culture have showed us many depictions of the mark of the beast and the beast from the earth based upon their perspective. What insights can we glean from the things they've shown us to help piece together this puzzle? Let's find out.

Decoding the Mystery

Revelation 13:16-18: "And the second beast required all people, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark—the name of the beast or the number of its name. Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666."

We know that this one point in Bible prophecy—the mark of the beast—has been talked about & debated for centuries, but as knowledge has increased in these last days, we are closer than we have ever been to the complete understanding of these things.

To review, in Part IV, we discussed what the first and second beasts of Revelation 13 are. The first beast is the dominant end times governmental system, who receives the dragon (Satan)'s power, seat, and great authority. It is also symbolized by the eagle in 2 Esdras—modern nations who operate under the same spirit as ancient Rome. The second beast is the false prophet who performs wonders (technological advancements) on behalf of that first beast (governmental system).

The Number of the Beast

Though it is still too early to definitively say exactly how the mark of the beast's final form will appear, we do have some convincing puzzle pieces available that can help clarify the picture for us. The first step was to shed more light on the beast and false prophet - and understanding what they look like/operate like from a modern perspective. Now to understand the mark, we must look at the "number of the beast" and apply that to our modern perspective as well.

Revelation 13:15-18 says the following about the false prophet and the services he provides for the first beast (end times governmental system): He causes all to receive a mark in the right hand or forehead, that no one would be able to make transactions unless they had the mark. It also asks those with understanding to count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and his number is 666.

Now when we talk about the number of the beast, there are so many ways one could read or interpret it, which is why scripture calls for wisdom to calculate it. Some people may see it as three individual sixes, while some see it as the King James Bible Translation's "six hundred threescore and six" or six hundred sixty six. But let's remove our 2025 American perspectives and put on our historically aware thinking caps. When the book of Revelation was first written, it was not written in King James English with the modern numeric system we see today. It was written in Koine Greek.

Greek Calculations: Illustrators of the Mark

So, to count the number of the beast, we will start with Koine Greek, because that is the language Revelation was written in and the readers first interpreted it from. Strong's Bible Concordance tells us that in the New Testament, the three Greek letters chi, xi, and stigma together represent the number 666, which is the number of the beast. Strong's characterizes these symbols as an abbreviation of the number in Greek.

In Revelation 13:18, scripture asks us to calculate the number of the beast, which indicates that some insights will be available to us by adding the numbers together. In Koine Greek, each letter has a numeric value, similar to what we see with Roman numerals. In Greek, Chi = 600, xi = 60, and stigma 6 (Credit to Min. Yakoba). Note in the photo you see below, there are some ancient manuscripts that represent the number of the beast as chi, iota, stigma - 616. When we're done, this won't present a problem for us either. It will take us to the same end result.

Roman Calculations: Illustrators of the Name

Now let's take a brief detour for a moment. Because this formula isn't just going to work for us in the Greek. It's also going to work with Roman numerals. I also must give credit to Pastor Lewis of Adamant Believers Council in Fort Worth, TX and his congregation for this next part of the information which draws attention to the following calculations as an alternative to the English numbers as we know them.

This all might sound odd at first but it will make sense shortly when you see how it all fits in application. So in Roman numerals, 666 can equal the sum total of the following letters: D = 500, C = 100, L = 50, X = 10, V = 5, I = 1.

Roman Rotations: Visualizing the Name

The letters DCLXVI function like a type of anagram in that if you rotate them slightly differently and transposing then on top of each other, you will get two things that will lead us to the same outcome. The first combination of those letters will form the symbols "omega chi alpha," and understanding these anagrams will help us in understanding the name of the beast more clearly.

The second combination of the DCLXVI letters when rotated and transposed forms the word XALIOS or HALIOS. Halios is another name for the Greek sun god Helios. He is sometimes associated with the Greek god Apollo. We note the similarities in name with "Apollyon," mentioned in Revelation 9 as the the Greek name for the angel of the "bottomless pit." We'll have to talk about what a bottomless pit is at a later time and what the implications are.

But in the meantime, remember we have to apply Bible terms & descriptions to things we observe via modern technology and via modern science. One hint for what it might be - black hole/wormhole.

We'll leave that there for now. Let's circle back to the Koine Greek number of the beast, chi xi stigma as we seek to understand the image of the beast. Let's take another look at the symbols.

Illustrating the Image of the Beast

Revelation 13:15 says the false prophet had power to give life to the "image of the beast" so that it would speak and compel those who would not submit to the image's instructions to be killed. Furthermore, the image would also cause people to receive the mark of the beast in their right hands or forehead in order to perform financial transactions.

That indicates that the speaking, animated image of the beast must be connected to (or work in tandem with) the mark of the beast, which is a mechanism with some capabilities for financial transaction. How will these be connected? By using the false prophet's primary mode of operation for "signs and wonders"—technology.

How does one cause an image to speak and instruct in 2024? Artificial intelligence. The use of language models. Supercomputers. How can this serve the interests of an end times governmental system (the first beast)? By centralizing defense, healthcare, and financial operations under one technological system. How can transactions be done with this? By using some type of implantable or imprintable technology (biotechnology) that connects the human body to the artificial intelligence source (the image of the beast).

Practical Applications: Image + Number

So now let's take a step back and think. Is there anywhere we are seeing capabilities for this emerge in the present tense? Anywhere we see that and the symbolism lining up?

Let's take a look at the developing Colossus AI supercomputer. Data Center Frontier reports this xAI supercomputer is designed to drive cutting-edge AI research, from machine learning to neural networks with a plan to use Colossus to train large language models (like OpenAI’s GPT-series) and extend the framework into areas including autonomous machines, robotics and scientific simulations.

Supercomputer Functions

Notice this Colossus supercomputer is being used to train large language models - as if to facilitate speech and commands - a key feature of the Rev 13 image. Let's also consider that supercomputers can be used to facilitate banking and digital currency use/data storage. See a link for further info here.

There are also cases where these types of computers can be used to identify the structure of viruses and model movements in the human body in order to more easily detect abnormalities. If this kind of computing system is connected to another device within the human body, it could possibly allow the device to automatically encode a remedy or an antibody solution to an ongoing health issue in real time, effectively expediting healing processes. If this type of computing is connected to the mark of the beast technology, these could be the selling points. Efficient transactions, immediate healthcare solutions...there may even be some type of mechanism that enhances brain function.

Brain Biotechnology - Neuralink

Where do we see biotechnology that could possess that type of healthcare oriented capability today? Enter Neuralink, implantable biotechnology ultimately designed to create brain-computer interfaces. Could this eventually be connected to Colossus xAI?

"To insert the device, Neuralink's surgical robot weaves the delicate threads throughout brain tissue without damaging blood vessels, moving at six threads (192 electrodes) per minute using micron needle - similar to a sewing machine." See link here.

Might this technology one day be used to conduct digital currency transactions as well?

Social Media Interface

Let's also consider another place the image of the beast might be enabled to speak. Social media such as the X platform—via the use of AI powered mechanisms and functions like Grok (and eventually Colossus xAI?). We also know that legacy media platforms have declined in influence since the rise of X and other social media channels. See link here.

People have become more reliant on social media platforms like X to conduct business (influencers), connect with others, and receive information that is vital to their safety (during regional conflicts) or their jobs. What if one day Neuralink is needed to access those services or any news or business services?

The Mark: The Map to a Man

Chi & Xi in 2025

So to tie together all these disparate data points, let's check out some of the symbolism behind these things we've mentioned. When we saw the logo for Colossus xAI a while ago, noticed it looked similar to the Greek letter Xi, which we said equals 60. We see the letter chi (X), symbolic of the social media, news, and business platform, which equals 600.

Halios 2025

Let's also consider the name Colossus xAI. Colossus is the name of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is most commonly known via association with the Colossus of Rhodes, which is a statue of the Greek sun god Helios.

Stigma 2025

Though we don't see the delineation as clearly in the logo for Neuralink as we do for the other two elements, we do see similarity in the shape of the Neuralink device and the stigma symbol. Even in some early device renderings that suggest a portion of it will extend behind the ear. This will be a technology to watch—especially as we await the financial applications for it and the relevance of the "right hand" to the technology.

What all this seems to suggest is that there will be some cross-functional system that connects the X platform, the Colossus xAI supercomputer, and Neuralink to complete this end-times Revelation 13 technological system. There might be some further development of those technologies over time - especially Neuralink, but those probably could be the core three that are used for this Revelation 13 initiative.

Also note scripture says the number of the beast is a number of a man. These three technologies all correspond to one person's brand.

And to also close the loop on the 616 concept - the items we mentioned still support that calculation as well. The Colossus AI supercomputer's logo and the Neuralink (Stigma) seen above still present the same visual image as the chi iota stigma mentioned earlier in the thread.

Technological Enablers of Satanic Evolution

Going back to what we said even with the Nimrod and Crowley reference, when fully developed and implemented, this technological system and its mark will equip users to take on the "do what thou wilt"/do what you want characteristics of Nimrod by using biotechnology to "evolve" and "become as gods" in attempt to challenge the The Most High like humans tried to do with the old Tower of Babel.

None of this information is designed to attack or insult anyone, but as students of Holy Scripture and current events, we must highlight these points of concern for awareness and further study. Developing a strong prayer life and close relationship with The Most High will be essential in these times ahead.

Addendum: Is the Antichrist (Second Beast) in the Room with US? Hollywood Industry Implications:

Reiterating our disclaimer above, the information we will highlight below is not intended to attack anyone. However, we must examine all points of available data in our efforts to form sound judgments.

One thing to note about the occult world and its "mystery religion" is that they follow a Hermetic principle which states they must tell you what they will do before they do it. They believe it absolves them of a certain level of responsibility if they tell you first - even if you don't understand the meaning. Let's explore...

From the late 1960s into the 1970s, our society saw the emergence of a trend - horror movies that foretold a supernatural birth of an antichrist-like figure. It started in 1968 with Rosemary's Baby, but continued even more popularly for some with The Omen in 1976.

The source above told us that such subject matter was unusual at the time. But what prompted it? We saw the article mention Hal Lindsey's book The Late Great Planet Earth prompted some discussion & got at least one filmmaker thinking about it. But that book was published in 1970 - still later than Rosemary's Baby debuted.

Does Occultic Art Imitate Life? Often, people in the upper echelons (and sometimes middle) of literature, entertainment, athletics, business, science, and civil society are initiated into occult knowledge through secret societies or through family traditions. Many times these "initiated" people use symbolism in movies and stories to communicate with each other or to announce forthcoming plans/events.

Let's take a look first at the parents in Rosemary's Baby (1968), The Omen (1976) and The Omen remake (2006). Why do they all have the same appearance? Blonde mom, brunette dad? Casting crews are pretty specific about how their cast should look. Why did all of them choose this look?

Do we think the filmmakers just took the look of the 1968 characters and ran with it for nostalgia purposes? Or were they using this specific casting to signal awareness of something in real life? I'll leave it to you to determine for yourself.

In light of our previous Revelation 13 discussion and our investigation of interesting commonalities in light of these movies and photos, I'll also place this here.

Considering what we talked about previously concerning Revelation 13, chi xi stigma, AI/supercomputers, and the characteristics of the end times False Prophet, this seems unusually coincidental. But I merely am presenting the information and noting the synchronicities. Your interpretation is up to you.

It's also interesting to know that in The Omen III: The Final Conflict, the protagonist (antichrist figure) was the leader of an international conglomerate.
