（   𝐁𝐖.   )        It’s raining outside of the liquor store. Big drops of water falling from the sky, washing all the dirt from Fabletown’s street, hitting the store’s windows. Bigby sighs, as he gives his last money in the hands of the store’s owner. What is left of the money, he uses to buy another pack of huff n’ puffs, the worst and cheaper cigarettes in that place. Huff n’ puffs are so bad that they can actually help Bigby to block unwanted scents off his nose, a habit he acquired all these years in that damned town. 

                                Before leaving the store, he sighs as watching the rain falling from the sky., only to catch a familiar scent with that powerful nose of his. He turns his back, only to take a look on a certain figure, which he believed that stayed behind decades, bringing back memories of the homelands and of another certain someone who changed at least a bit of his monstrous soul. If he ever had one.  ❝ These top-shelf shit liquors costs an arm and a leg.    ❞ He approached, slowly, a bit suspicious even.

（   𝐁𝐖.   )         Com o tempo, Bigby veio a aprender que no mundo humano apesar do código moral que gostam de exibir e demonstrar, o mesmo é jogado na lixeira para garantir que as coisas funcionem como deveriam. Com isso, o xerife percebeu que na intenção de manter o mínimo de ordem em Fabletown, situações mundanas consideradas ultrajantes deveriam ser perdoadas, para que as transgressões mais graves pudessem ser evitadas. E assim, manter fábulas e criaturas mágicas seguras dentro da comunidade imperfeita e falha que viviam. Assim, ele acabava por adquirir tanto aliados quanto inimigos, sendo que os últimos consistiam mais de 60% do seu círculo social escasso, não que ele ligasse se gostassem ou o odiassem, pois isso não lhe fazia a mínima diferença. A questão é que haviam pessoas que permaneciam em uma zona cinza, na perspectiva do lobo, tornando-o incapaz de decifrar se era alguém em que podia confiar, ou alguém que deveria vigiar. 

                                Por sua vez, estando no mesmo ambiente que a mercenária, seus sentidos lupinos colocavam-na zona cinza, até o momento. Tanto pelo fato da mulher ser desconhecida, pela imprevisibilidade de suas ações.  ❝ A sua sutileza pode ser perfeita aos demais, mas, não o suficiente para enganar meus sentidos.  ❞ O xerife não tinha certeza se ela estava fugindo, ou se estava o atraindo para algum lugar de propósito.  ❝ É melhor parar de correr agora e me explicar o seu envolvimento nessa situação.  ❞ Por mais que acabe mentindo.

（   𝐁𝐖.   )          There is an honest tired look on the detective’s face, as he listens to Frank’s words.  ❝ There’s no need for that, Castle.  ❞ He looks for his lighter, inside the pocket of his coat, as long as the pack of cigarettes he bought earlier. The wolf takes one of his cigars and puts it inside his mouth, before lightining it and taking a long huff of smoke inside his lungs.  ❝ I need them alive to further investigate this case. If you want to go to the bottom of it, you’ll stay out of my way and let me do my job. ❞ As calm as he looks, he understands the rage that burns in the other man’s eyes. He feels the same, but at that point, he needs those guys alive to lead him to the head of those criminal operations.

He worries about her, more than he worried about anything or anyone in that damned city. He didn’t necessary needed to hear or look at her to feel that she was in the verge of falling apart: her scent was all that took him to deceive her suffering. And it was always like that with snow, he knew her scent so well that every little change on it, he would immediately perceive.  ❝ And how you could possibly know that?   ❞ His voice is low, calm. At the same time he doesn’t want to push her, he wishes that she could trust him enough, to speak about what desesperately shaked her.  ❝ Try me. ❞
