Q: I am 6 miles from Toadwell and 10 miles from Bartle. Where am I? A: Hambone Dad's notes on the back say "SE Siskiyou Co. My first area of work with State Division of Water Resources. Note nails around sign to keep bears from eating up sign board." This would have been early 1950s.
