This is a meditation in rejuvenating your intrinsic motivation, which gets washed away by fleeting extrinsic motivations, like grades, praise, money, etc. very easily. I hope this is of some help ~ <3

folks, i have blogged about this before. but this time, look at the examples, because i feel like the years of practicing (not always consistent, barely consistent actually) approach-motives journaling (something i thought of in order to mend my relationship with deadlines and exams) have finally started showing clear, overt results for me— a true change in the attitude towards deadlines and stress-management. *sigh*. *sniff*. TT

Definition–

the basic idea is to write down why you want to do a certain assigned task, as opposed to why you need to or have to. then, you keep the sheet of paper/ journal open beside you, as you study or work. everytime you feel your motivation slip, look at it. if it doesn't work, write it with a bit more honesty next time.
