Since Alice is an oldie here at Marathon, she’s allowed to have a Youtube channel so please hit me up or simply like this post if you wanna feature in a video. She usually does song covers and/or vlogging.

About five minutes into the party, Alice already had enough. It was sad to admit that she barely knew anyone who was there. She could recognise some faces but she could not put a finger on their names, if she was to be completely honest. She simply smiled and nodded, thanking them politely if they mentioned they liked her music or if they were fans before becoming an idol themselves. It was tiring, if anything. That was why she decided to leave.

Swinging the door out, Alice was about to apologise to the person she knocked down when she heard the voice. She would recognise that voice anywhere in the world, and it haunted her in her nightmares several times too. “Oh I did, that’s why I opened the door in your face.”

“ sure, ” he said, pulling out the swivel chair next to hers in front of the soundboard. alice is someone who’s been in the company for almost as long as huirae has, and it’s been harder and harder in recent years to find familiar faces he knows from before his enlistment. “ did you nick that bottle from the party ? ” he asked with a bemused smile. “ — would you mind sharing the glass, or should i run upstairs to get my own ? ”

“Where else am I going to get a bottle of wine for free?” Alice smiled, opening the bottle of wine and poured the glass almost full to the brim, most definitely enough for two to share. “We can share.” Of all people, she was quite relieved to see Huirae opening the door. She was not old, per say, but old enough to no longer know most of the faces around the company now. “Did you run away from the party too? Too many young people, too much to handle?”

after the show ended and seyoung realized that she was approaching debut at a faster pace than she was used to, the emotive side within her cut loose and lo and behold, here she stands now, heart beating fast while her body lays on the floor, eyes forced shut by her palms pressing lightly on them. she’s making a visible effort not to let her mind wander to ‘what if’ scenarios but fear or anxiety or whatever that damned thing is that makes her feel so restless is immensely more powerful than she could ever be, and so in the end she’s not putting up much of a fight when a few tears inevitably escape her eyes.

One hand armed with her notebook and pencil case while the other several bags of snacks and drinks.

It took Alice a little while to notice but when she finally did, she realised she had little, if any, friends. Back in school, her classmates were intimidated by her intelligence and only looked for her when they were stuck on their homework. Here in Marathon, she was alone simply because she debuted alone. Yet, that did not seem to be the case with other soloists. That was when she started to think perhaps she was the problem. Until Seyoung came along.

Bright-eyed and starstruck, it was the first time Alice felt as if someone really cared about her. She could still remember the adorable little gasp from Seyoung when they first met. Since then, Alice had taken her under her wings. She gave advice whenever she could, taking time out of her busy schedule to help Seyoung practice. Alice wanted to help her be successful so Seyoung could have a chance of experiencing that moment when a fan was grateful to meet her.

“Knock knock,” Alice smiled, opening the door to the dance practice room. “Are you ready? Oh? Are you crying? What’s wrong?” Dropping everything in her hands, Alice sat next to Seyoung. “Come here.”

fifteen minutes after just wandering through marathon’s hallways, he notices a sliver of warm light spilling out from underneath one of the doors. knocking before pushing it open, he asks, “ hey, i was just wondering if i could get you anything ? a slice of cake, maybe ? ”

She was one of few to arrive first.

Alice was never one to be big on celebrations. Or rather, she was never big on parties. A room filled with people who were all obliged to be nice to each other yet somehow, she would still be standing in the corner by herself. Especially company parties. Most people who would attend worked at the company, whether they were staff or idols. Unlike her, most idols were in groups which meant they had people they knew well to hang with. Alice did not. She scanned the room for someone she was relatively close enough with yet, she could not find anyone. So she left. She already made an appearance after all.

With a plate in one hand, wine glass in the other along with a bottle of red wine tucked under her arm, she found refuge in one of the recording studios far away from the party itself. Her time would be better spent practicing anyway. Mr. Han was a nice man, Alice had worked with him several times. He would not mind if she was not there physically, she was there spiritually with him.

She was taking a sip of the wine when the door suddenly opened and in popped a familiar face. “I have cake,” she said, pointing to two slices on the plate she brought with her. “And wine. Care to join me?”

「 Kim Yongsun, Solar. ’95 liner. cisfemale. she/her. 」 ✧ don’t look now, but i’m pretty sure that’s character Alice Moon. you know, the soloist who debuted in 2012 and remind me of Hyolyn. they’re originally from London, England and have been under marathon entertainment for 10 years. they’re known to be charismatic and smart but are often criticized for being condescending and manipulating. ( stanned by Coco. 24. GMT +8. she/her. )

Hi y’all! I have decided to repost this because my previous intro was done at 3am and was not very good. Anyway, there’s more info on Alice under the cut or you could click here to read more about her and here for her plots/wanted connections. As usual, give this a like or send me a dm! I shall get to replying to everyone who messaged me before.

- Born Alice Moon, May 20 1995, London, England. Her parents emigrated to England prior to her birth. Grew up just outside of London, attended school and finished secondary education there (she achieved her GCSEs). Speaks fluent English and Korean (although her Korean is a little broken when she first became a trainee), conversation French, Spanish (having took GCSEs), Japanese, and Chinese.

- Plays the violin and piano (started at 4 and 6 respectively), both of which she has achieved a performing diploma for.

- Alma mater: Seoul National University. Double major in Chemistry and Instrumental Music (Piano). 

- Is a member of the British Mensa; was tested to have an IQ of 155.

- Aged 12, she started at overseas auditions when companies recruited abroad. She passed all auditions but in the end, did not choose to become a trainee because of her father’s objection. Her mother, however, encouraged her to follow her dreams so she auditioned for a survival competition show. She moved to South Korea just to participate in the competition. Although she did not win, she was scouted by Marathon Entertainment after the competition. She accepted the offer and became a trainee.

- Original intent was for her to train for two years and debut in an unknown group. However, she was pulled from the final lineup last minute with no explanation and was put through another year of training before finally debuting as a soloist on June 12, 2012.

- Debuted with a cute and innocent image. After 4 years, she had enough and fought for a change of image. After a one year hiatus in 2015, she returned with an alluring and sexy image (often showcased in her dance), whereas her music has taken a turn for R&B, dance-pop, and EDM.

- Dubbed the ‘Queen of Summer’ by her fans because of her summer comebacks, and the addictive summer songs.

- Can be condescending in ways because of her intelligence. ( “You don’t know this?”). Unsure if she does it consciously, or subconsciously.

- Is a loner. She came to SK alone, trained alone, debuted alone. She doesn’t really know how to make friends either, so can be a little awkward around others. She’s actually really jealous of those who debuted in a group because they have members to lean on.

- Owns 2 blue Great Danes: Titan and Hercules.
