hi i saw your repost on that one person hating mc and let me just say… people that hate mc need to get a life holy shit 😭 like you’re projecting your own insecurities on some fictional character simply because you’re jealous that the lads men love her for who she is despite her flaws…? like it’s okay to not feel a connection towards mc… i understand that… but to say that you despise her is absolutely insane. and op even said that hating her (mc) is easier than her herself (op)… like okay why even play the game if you don’t like the main character… that’s literally YOU as well 😭 they honestly shouldn’t be playing the game atp because she’s literally the MAIN CHARACTER and hating her but loving the men is just so fucking misogynistic. this level of parasocialism is absolutely insane. like they really hate to see a strong, independent woman that knows how to stand up for herself thrive. but yeah ily for defending mc because the people that hate her are just so miserable...
Good Morning Anon!
Hohoho, what you say makes absolute sense, but it would take an enormous amount of introspection that most MC-haters seem to be incapable of.
How taxing it must be for OP to live with themselves, rotting from the inside out. That, even without MC, the game, and those who share their "sympathies", OP's reflection will remain the same. And yet, I doubt that any amount of hate will ever be enough for OP to make a difference, in the game or in their real life.
Let me leave an excerpt from my first post here:
It’s okay not to relate to or feel connected to MC. Not everyone agrees with her actions or interactions with the LIs. You don’t have to like her. However, not liking her does not give you writers a pass to paint her in such disgusting and depraved ways to fit your narrative.
And for the people who request written work like these…It's okay to be insecure, but it isn't MCs fault you are.

THIS IS A "YOU" PROBLEM.
You seem to have confused your real-life inadequacies with what you somehow think is a valid and inspirational critique of a fictional character. This disastrous emotional cocktail simply reeks of insecurity, delusion, jealousy, and a whiff of internalized misogyny.
Do ask yourself why the very existence of MC, a character who is powerful, loved, and yes, FLAWED in all the ways you just can’t seem to handle, such a personal affront to your existence? Why can't MC be all those things without you being reduced to nothing? Why does your self-worth depend on a fictional character? Has MC being "perfect" robbed you of your worth? your value? of love? of individualism? Questions…Questions…Questions…
It must be exhausting to be in your shoes. To only see your shortcomings reflected unto you by a fictional character. How tragic. Sorrows and Prayers.
💔 I know people will hate me for this, but I can’t stay silent anymore
I just want to find at least one person who feels the same way I do.
Even if a hundred or a thousand people will hate me for it, I want that one single person who understands what kind of scar this MC left on me.
---
For a long time, I couldn't quite explain why I had such a deep dislike - no, a visceral rejection - of the MC of Love and Deepspace.
It wasn’t just that I found her annoying, rude, or bland - though many users defend her as "just a cute sweetheart," or "not that bad heroine".
No. I think I genuinely hate her.
And recently, after sitting with this feeling for months, I finally figured out why.
She is an empty shell.
A hollow, perfect otome heroine who had everything handed to her by default. She has:
- A loving older adoptive brother who would literally do anything for her because he had to watch her suffer as a child and ended up traumatized (while she conveniently forgot everything - how convenient, right?).
- A serious childhood friend who possibly had feelings for her but had to hide them to avoid hurting her with his evol - and of course she’s the only one who can make him smile again
- A literal husband from the future, who time-traveled just to save her (because even time itself is on this woman’s side).
- Not one but TWO ancient creatures (a mafia boss who created and controls an entire shadowy underworld mafia just to protect her, and a literal mermaid sea god whose soul is tied to hers across lifetimes) both of whom have loved her across lifetimes and would destroy the world for her!
The love interests? Fantastic.
They’re well-designed, emotionally rich, and full of potential. But the moment you add destiny threads, past life reincarnations, and mythic soulmate-level love, something breaks.
I stop feeling like I’m part of the story.
I don’t feel like the MC.
I don’t feel like I’m influencing or choosing anything.
I don’t feel... close.
It feels like I’m just watching someone else’s picture-perfect story - some unreasonably lucky girl - from behind a screen. And I have absolutely nothing to do with it.
I think what makes it worse is that Infoflds advertises this as otome game.
A dating sim for women.
Isn’t it supposed to fulfill the fantasy of being special?
Of being seen?
But all I felt after a few months of playing and watching her was:
MC is the center of the universe.
And I mean that literally.
From what I understand, the plot eventually reveals that she’s a kind of cosmic entity - a celestial being that gave birth to an entire advanced civilization on another planet. She’s the source of life itself.
Every powerful man or godlike creatures in this world exists and lives because of her.
Loves her. Worships her. Saves her.
Even the player feels like they’re supposed to worship her.
She’s the chosen one. The universe, the love interests, and the story all bend to her - and honestly? It felt like the game was screaming in my face:
"Look at her! Look at everything she has that you never will!"
Yes, I know the mythic destiny trope is just a lazy storytelling shortcut to justify why all the LIs fall so hard so fast.
But still… it hurts.
This game showed me something I didn’t expect:
That I’m a non-MC reader.
Just a side character. A background girl.
And that’s why I adore non-MC stories with a reader.
They mirror how I feel in real life - painfully, but in a cathartic beautiful way.
They say: yes, even if you’re beautiful, loyal, smart, kind - if you weren’t born the Chosen One, if you weren’t written into the myth - then you’ll never be her.
You’ll never be the one they cross time and space for.
You’ll never be the cosmic soulmate.
You’ll never be the MC.
And yes, maybe I’m just a jealous bitter bitch.
Maybe I just fell too hard for the guys and now feel like a miserable outsider.
Maybe I felt like I was being pushed out of a story that never included me to begin with.
But this post - this pain - is real.
If you’ve ever felt like the story wasn’t written for you,
If you’ve ever watched miss Hunter be worshipped and thought:
“Why not me?”
If you’ve ever craved a story where someone like you gets to be seen, wanted, and chosen:
You're not alone.

this is a lads! mc loving space. i'm just saying because i saw a really uncomfortable post with people hating her (like genuinely hating her) because they can't identify with her. i'm sorry guys but please don't expect this from me. for me, lads! mc is us in another universe, reincarnated, or whatever. i genuinely love her because i relate to her, especially since this is a sci-fi fantasy game.
i hope we can create a community where we love different traits, tropes, and li's together! i don't like this kind of negativity and hope we can manage to have a non-toxic environment, especially with all the current discourses that are going around right now.

dawg how you read my anon and not have it click not only did op tag it yandere themes and ooc zayne, but includes emotional cheating AND nonmc doesnt view mc as the antagonist, hell nonmc TRIES to give zayne an out to go to mc. like... if ur going to be critical at least read the tags, summaries, etc. before going after someone for... *checks notes* internalized misogyny for writing a character rightfully upset the guy who expressed interest in her AND trying to see whats wrong with nonmc who is defeated at that point and the guy being a yandere who, by definition, is awful as fuck to people they perceive as threats to their relationship. literally nobody in that story is happy 😭😭
also op is nawt responsible for how their readers feel abt mc in story 😭😭 some people enjoy the fucked up, hurting other aspects of yandere stories and some of those people are!!! other women woah!!!! its not bc the ppl commenting hate women, are insecure, or hate mc, but again bc they like obsessive crazy ass men.
im saying this as someone who fucking LOVES mc as her own character and likes that zayne story and yandere tropes. unclench for a second its not that serious and you should focus on the ACTUAL misogyny in the community towards mc and other forms of bigotry instead.
im not gon send anymore anons bc you have rocks for brains honestly, is this your first fandom? first time interacting w a community that has nonmc fics? 😭😭 fucking crazy when you couldve used actual works that put down mc to bring up nonmc and not the one where mc and nonmc arent happy at all bc its dark content and if anything nonmc is the one trying to discourage mc for mc's safety and gen only had an issue with zayne bc zayne is... once again chat, batshit insane. bc it's yandere ooc zayne.
Best of luck on your journey to enlightenment anon! Let the waters be still and the sun blazing, and may you find yourself far away from this community. Ta-ta!

So i was scrolling through the love and deepspace x reader tag when I came across your post and I literally HAD to follow you cause UR so right and things like these aren't being said enough but also be careful please❤️ I looked into that author u called out and turns out I already had them blocked, that author is VERY problematic and authors like those tend to have a following just like them. Be careful please cause people like those are very defensive when it comes to their delusions that they'd literally do anything to defend it including harassment and worse. I've seen an author in this fandom who wrote such an ooc sylus and the fandom still defended them😭 worse part is the fic was PLAGIARISEDDDD from another fandom and they literally just slapped sylus name on it but people still defended them, even harassed the original author. Like I said, ANYTHING to defend their delusions and I'd hate to see the same happen to you😭 sorry for my lil yapping session, just really concerned❤️❤️
Thank you for your message and concern anon!
It had to be said, and I do hope that one day sentiments like mine will be a staple in the LADS Community.
Truthfully, a part of me enjoys grating on the nerves of people who defend misogynists and their narratives. I simply adore it when they start gnawing, and it seems that I already have one in my inbox. A shame they have already admitted defeat.
The moral and mental gymnastics they use to defend themselves? Akin to a whoopee cushion running out of air. Astounding.

dawg you do NOT know the context of the original story 😭😭😭😭 ofc its ooc zayne, its a fuckin yandere version of him like bro just block OP at that point youre VERY weird bc theres a difference between making mc a villain to make nonmc look better and mc being a complex mix of missing zaynes attention bc he VERY suddenly iced her out and wanting to help nonmc and looking like a villain in zaynes pov.
like media literacy is dead omg 😭😭 if mc was mean and awful for no reason then i'd agree with you, but mc in the story OP created was very suddenly blocked out from zaynes life and nonmc basically disappeared. anyone would crashout lowk if the guy they had a thing going on with suddenly dropped them and appeared with twins and a wife who looks tired and not happy
like there are plenty of other stories that do what you said, but that zayne story? isnt one of them.
Re-read your message and let it sink in.
Now read my comments and my reblog on that post and let that sink in.

I just followed you lol so you know who am I. Sorry for the long ask. This is about your comment too. I wanted to badly reply on you (it is still up there for me) but I didn't go for it bc ofc I'd get a lot of hate for agreeing with you. Not only are they slandering MC/downplaying her (I'm not sure what word is appropriate but you get the point) but they are also turning Zayne into a shitty character. I read the fic description and was like, this man?? Blackmailing??? MC on top of that???
Yk what, I am absolutely a sucker for any non-mc!reader x lads men (especially angst lol) but that's bc I think MC is the most ideal version of me that I can't ever become. I like to think that there's a hope that lads men would settle for me too even if I wasn't as perfect as her, that someone out there will like me for who am I, would let the world burn if it means I get to stay alive, even if someone out there is conveniently more attractive and overall better than me. That's why I love them non-mc fics to a tee. However, if you have to write MC as those typical original-female-lead-turned-villainess in a modern cliche manhwa (or manhua especially) who would stoop so low just to get the love interest's attention (#major ick), it means that you know that the love interest (in this case, Zayne) would never even look your way if he had to choose between you and the actual beautiful MC. That, that person had to write her like that because they knew they could never amount to her. And that's saddening. That you know someone must be shittier than you before they could like you. Just saying.
Also, Zayne and MC's relationship goes beyond on the surface. Even if Zayne did end up marrying non-mc!reader, he just… he would never do that. Bro. I'm not going to explain any further bc if someone out here actually thinks he would do that, you're playing the wrong game. The audacity. I am apalled. FORGE documents????????????????? 🤦‍♀️
Anyways thank you for listening to my TED talk.
I appreciate you reaching out to me anon, your message was lovely to read and don't worry I'll keep your identity a secret! Please know that I stand with you, and I for one am glad that there are people who share the same concerns.
You took the words right out of my mouth! The absolute bastardization of Zayne is gut-wrenching! Holy mischaracterization Batman! The only thing Canon! Zayne has with that story are his name and face. They took this loving, earnest, and truly one of the most gentle characters in the game and decided to play Face/Off. Placing his face unto the body and soul of a completely irredeemable diabolical asshole.
You don't have to be MC anon, you don't have to look like her, talk like her or resemble her in any way. They aren't settling for you, for you are not someone who is less. You can be anyone you want or remain as you are, and you will still be loved and cherished by the LADS!men. They adore YOU for who YOU are, and not what they think of you as MC or in any relation to her. This goes for everyone, including myself that do not necessarily see themselves as MC.
WE ARE LOVED WITHOUT COMPARISON, SO LONG AS WE LEARN TO BE LOVED WITHOUT HATING OTHERS. FOR LOVE THAT HARMS IS NO LOVE AT ALL.

23 years old and frothing over a harmless fictional work? if you don't like it then don't read it. let anyone who can relate to that works be, it's fiction.
Ooh, The Brave and The Butthurt ! Is this @szarina, who blocked me and removed my comments after I reblogged their post? HI!
Sorry to burst your delusional bubble, darling. But calling out writers and requesters who perpetuate such decrepit thinking doesn't have an age limit.
And you're right, I don't consume works that demean MC or other women. But having works like these constantly litter the LADS tag does more harm than you think. It normalizes and dare I say, even glorifies pitting women against each other, comments saying that they ADORE having MC being treated so horribly are being left, ON A PUBLIC PLATFORM.
If you are the type of person who relates to these kinds of work, boy...what a piece of work. Why do you relate to having reader-character and the LIs drag MC through the mud for you to consider it a Happy Ending? Questions...Questions...Questions.
I think it best for you to take your own advice...Frothing over a harmless take on Tumblr? If you don't like it then don't read it.

Omg!! Jst read ur post abt the MC thingy and ur sooo right!! Like whenever I read a fic that makes MC a literal demon it’s so off putting and weird.. and they somehow use it to glamorize the guys or something?? I dunno how to explain it but it rlly screaaams insecure and lowk a bit of internal misoginy.. why are we putting down another woman just for the sake of a bunch of guys..
Anyways!! Apart from that, what kinda content are you planning on posting if ydm me asking ^_^
-🩵
EXACTLY! Thank you Anon!
There many ways to uplift reader-character (RC) without disparaging MC. The LIs can love RC for who they are as a person without any relation to MCs presence or actions. That's why I applaud writers who create works that exemplify this.
And with what anon said about writers/reader-characters belittling MC while romanticizing the LIs...this seems to be a pattern, or a common theme to these kinds of stories. And for the life of me, I can't comprehend it. I've encountered works where the LIs truly come off as deplorable yet they (writers/RC) manage to pin it on MC. Glamorizing is an appropriate term! The LIs can be total assholes to everyone, especially MC. But so long as they adore reader-character? It's all good! BLEH
These works and those who support them seem to be commonplace, and that is why we as a community must increase our awareness and understand that Reader-Character/YOU as a person can be loved and accepted without bringing other individuals down.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------and for those wondering, I plan on posting digital art and written work for LADS :) Thank you!

📢 PSA to all LaDS x NonMC Reader writers/requesters:
If the only way your reader-character can 💥shine💥 is by making MC a “villain,” a “bitch,” or a “pick me,” then sit down, cupcake, I have news for you: your reader-character is the problem. AND YOU'RE AN EVEN BIGGER ONE.
“Boohoo, MC is soooo perfect, confident, and loved, while reader-character is a Grade A Wet Rag with zero presence who wallows in self-loathing and resentment… Guess the only solution is to make MC insufferable, right?” Wrong.
Turning a self-assured woman into a cheap caricature all so your reader-character can look good by comparison isn’t clever writing (However, I doubt anyone reads your sad attempt at a self-insert for literary enlightenment 🫢). It’s lazy, and absolutely reeks of internalized misogyny.
Why is it that MC, who knows her worth, takes up space, or god forbid isn’t insecure about being loved… suddenly becomes “the worst”? Why can’t your reader-character coexist or compete with that without resorting to petty archetypes? Why does MC being a fully-realized person threaten your reader-character's relevance?
If your reader-character only thrives when MC/another woman is diminished, it’s time to look inward. Ask yourself why your version of empowerment depends on putting someone else down. Maybe the problem isn’t MC. Maybe it’s YOU.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It’s okay not to relate to or feel connected to MC. Not everyone agrees with her actions or interactions with the LIs. You don’t have to like her. However, not liking her does not give you writers a pass to paint her in such disgusting and depraved ways to fit your narrative.

Too dark got it: How about Zayne just blackmailing MC to stay away from his family, like him forging evidence she wanted to seduce Zayne?

“Dr. Zayne......”
She call his name in a whisper in a familiar tone. Watching as he walked through the doors in long strides. Surprised or more like longing was evident on her face.
Yvonne didn't told her that it was the Chief Surgeon who was meeting her today and not her current primary care physician that the surgeon had referred her.
She doesn't know what hurts more. Maybe, it's her heart that is being wrung out in her chest or the way he looks at her as she turned insignificant to him. Fondness had long disappeared in his eyes for her.
“Dr. Corwin is currently indisposed at the moment. He will be meeting you later.” Zayne informed her. The surgeon standing across her, former primary care physician and since he married you and heard that he's a real father now, she was easily assigned to a another physician that had the same qualifications as his.
This time it was usually her check-ups with him but it was replaced by his time with you, being a devoted husband and loving father to his children.
His strides were long, with purpose as he entered the conference room. The same sterile room with the AC blowing on to keep the room cool but with his sharp gaze it dropped a few degrees lower.
He pulled a chair and sat without hesitation. He was still the same white coat and the midnight blue high collared shirt underneath that coat.
“I won't waste of our allotted time. Let's get straight to the point. Don't you ever talk or approach my wife again. I don't need you poisoning her.”
Her eyes widens in disbelief and her breath got stuck in her throat at the sudden shift and accusation. She turned speechless and suddenly her hunter's uniform was tight all of a sudden. The gloves in her hands digging at her skin when she closed her fists in utter disbelief.
“P-poisoning her? It's the truth.” She stammers but her words were firm to prove her point.
“And how did my wife reacted from that truth?” Zayne's gaze were piercing and she didn't like that eyes of his looking at her like that.
Wife. The word stabs her in the chest. You had replaced her in his heart. It also reminded her of her place in his world. She was a nobody. Just someone who had a heart disease that he's still looking a cure of. That should make her special since he started that for her but it wasn't time for being delusional. It wasn't also for her, it was also for the thousands that shares the same fate as hers.
She looks at her and his gaze were still the same. Cold and calculating. Something tells her that if she breathes wrong, he's going to get rid of her.
“She deserves the truth.” Her voice came into a murmur. She won't going down without proving her point. It was her stubbornness that was putting herself in danger — as always and her love for him too.
“The Hunters Association strictly abides on its rules and that extends on how you hunters conduct yourselves in public. In your case, it can be quite damaging. The Association doesn't tolerate its hunters' misconducts.” The surgeon reminded her.
She knows that. The Hunters Association were unforgiving when it comes to acts of misconduct that will sully the integrity of the Association. She was close to being a Tenebra and Zayne was about to make her one.
“I didn't harassed her. I only talked to her.” She defended herself. Her hands clasped at her lap into fists.
“You won't like Zayne when he's angered. He won't show it but know it's going to come.” She hears your voice at the last conversation she had with you and this is what the extent of your husband's anger towards her.
“That conversation is upsetting and a conversation that is saved between mine and hers. You have no business in our lives. That is considered harm towards a citizen of Linkon.”
“Are you blackmailing me?”
“No.” He pauses for a moment to made sure that she was getting the gist of his point. “I'm keeping your stubbornness and prying unto people's lives under wraps before you end up causing harm.”
If he was teasing, her heart might skipped a beat and he was only rather amused at her antics. His worries disguised at teasing remarks but this is not. It was a threat. It will ruin her.
He turned into a black ice. Incapable of melting until it was to his significant other that is at home and tending to his children.
“Don't you love me anymore, Zayne?” She asks him, defeated but is still hoping.
Zayne abruptly stops when he stood up. Staring at her and she meets his gaze.
“Don't mistake my care as being love towards my patients. I didn't gave you a reason to.”
She smiles bitterly and her heart hurts. Enclosed in a fist or being pricked by his icy thorns. She thought he was still the same boy who stopped her popsicle from melting but he's not anymore or he still can but not to her.
Because when he gets home, he will he making figures of snowman in his palm for his little ones. Maybe, an ice figure of those chubby little seals. Who knows? She thought she had known Zayne but it was only the surface and it was cold.
He places the chair back to its place. “I hope you keep this conversation in mind if a thought of disturbing my family crosses your mind.”
Zayne began to walk away from her just like what you did but before he really walks away from him and the door had opened. He said,
“Dr. Corwin is now waiting for you.”
And just like that she was alone in that conference room, the temperature is back but she was left a cold feeling. A neverending bitter winter that awaits for her.
