NAME: elvan'shalee t'sarran. NAME SYMBOLISM: elvan means " elf, elvan, mage, power ", shalee means shalee means " gaze, abjurer ". ( elf who renounces a belief? rejects elf culture? never feels part of it to begin with? ) [ taken from drow, a dialect of elvish ]. NICKNAMES: elora, el, ellie ( conditional, close friends only ). ALIAS': unholy assassin / unholy assassin of bhaal, dark urge, the haunted one, bhaal's chosen, murder incarnate, hero of baldurs gate.

murder incarnate -- given to them by the absolute prior to ending up a test subject for kressa bonedaughter. they had a positive relationship with them but when elora disappeared and orin replaced her, the brain thought they were abandoned as a slave and changed completely. the haunted one. the dark urge. unholy assassin of bhaal -- elora says she does it to find a way to the temple of bhaal and there wasn't another choice. another, quieter part of her does it because she wanted to. up until this point, she had rejected most of the urges and stayed on a good-aligned path, so it was a surprise when she killed the investigator and impressed sarevok. there's a deep disgust and regret when it happens and she puts on that amulet. almost none of her friends agree with her, which further pushes her into regret and self-loathing. bhaal's chosen -- prior to orin's betrayal, elora was bhaal's chosen and his favorite. after she defeats orin, this title is rejected.

AGE: 30s at the start of the game. timeline is a bit wonky. BIRTHDATE: she was created in a blood ritual with bhaal's own flesh and blood. she does not have a birthday and does not celebrate it. SLEEPING HABITS: extreme insomnia. she does not sleep much after she kills quill ( she sleeps very restlessly prior to that too ), and it hangs very heavily over her head every night. she worries that she'll kill one of her friends in her sleep so she'd rather force herself to stay awake and be miserable. and when she does sleep, it's riddled with nightmares and she often sleepwalks and wakes up hovering over a dead, bloody body. she is still suseptable to the urges in trance-like states. SOCIABILITY: actually quite high! but it does fluctuate. sometimes, her social butterfly-ness is a mask she puts on and when it goes on for too long she ends up absolutely exhausted and needs time alone to recharge. CHARACTERIZATION DECISIONS.

saves shadowheart on the nautiloid.

spends the first night alone and finds everyone the next day.

breaks pandira's legs and kills her.

saves the tieflings throughout, despite the urges and despite her craving for murder and death.

during companion quests, she will encourage them to decide for themselves, but if they ask she will lean towards whichever is the " better " path. ( wyll getting out of the contract, astarion not ascending, lae'zel rejecting vlaakith, etc ) she is very committed to helping them be the best versions of themselves, even while she can't or doesn't think she could be.

becomes an unholy assassin of bhaal, to the dismay of many of her friends, but later when confronting orin she fully rejects him and dies ( there is a brief moment of hesitancy, she almost doesn't reject him ). withers resurrects her and the urges are finally gone. ( however, she would have been content with staying dead. the voices were non-existant, things were calm, she was almost at peace ... )

destroys the netherbrain and helps rebuild the city, shows up for withers' reunion party a better, different person.

WORLDS.

general dragon age -- elora is elf mage with incredible amnesia and chronic migraines. since drow / underdark don’t have equivalents in DA, she’s just another elf ( though fully open to keeping the drow and underdark stuff if anyone has ideas! ) she's unknowingly betrayed and wakes up on a beach with a horrible migraine and all she wants to do is find out who she is and stop these unwelcomed feelings. throughout everything, she will slowly come to realize that she isn't okay, or normal. she sleepwalks and kills people in her sleep, has various bloodlust urges, etc ... but tries to keep this to herself than alarm anyone. eventually, it's revealed she's a creation from a blood ritual. her father who isn’t a god or anything but instead a very powerful blood mage with a large following that could be compared to false godhood, called bhaalists, who created her to cause absolute devastation. ( i'm welcoming people to help me figure out bhaal in DA / if this works / could make sense / if there's a better way <3 ) can be a companion in any of the game with the above backstory. open to romance and easy to ship but would likely lean towards someone who shares her curiosity of the world, answers her questions and lets her ramble, respects magic, respects her heritage and lets her be herself without making herself smaller. she’ll be part of the inquisition group, veilguard, etc.

INQUISITOR : DALISH MAGE. -- adopted by clan lavellan after her own clan is “ murdered “ ( she killed them and had no memory of it ... she wandered and slept in the woods until the dalish found her and took pity on her ). she sees them as her family and becomes close with the keeper — she becomes their apprentice, then becomes second to her keeper. the above is still true, however, nothing about her blood or the urges are revealed until after DAI: trespasser and before DAV. she sought to redeem solas and (and when she finds out about bhaal and her past that’s drenched in blood, she understands him more and his guilt and the need to right his wrongs — note: she will feel this way regardless if she’s a companion or inquisitor! and isn’t determined by their relationship/friendship, it happens that way no matter what tbh). full name is elvan'shalee t'sarran lavellan.

01. THE BASICS. this blog is mutuals only, selective, divergent in some areas and low - sporadic activity. if you are expecting a lot of replies then this might not be the blog for you! i also post a lot of ooc and headcanon posts, which i know isn't always everyone's cup of tea. you're more than welcome to not follow back or blacklist my ooc tag, which is MISC : OOC. i am typically duplicate friendly, but it depends as i lean more towards headcanons and alt fcs a lot of the time. if you don't follow back within a few days i will unfollow. i understand some take time to follow back but i'd rather not accidentally interact with your blog when we're not mutuals and you're mutuals only, it's kinda embarrassing ngl. if you unfollow, please softblock or hardblock. i am also going to attempt to keep this blog low stress and keep the follower amount lower so if enough time passes with no interractions ( ic / ooc / reactions to posts ) i may unfollow. i am also not entitled to follow every blog my mutuals make, especially if it's a fandom i don't know about or i just don't have a character that goes with them. if you have multiple blogs i'm also entitled to softblocking any of them and remaining mutuals on others, especially if as time goes by i don't see interactions happening.

02. PSA. many of my characters are strong and don't like to be backed into a corner. don't provoke them unless you want to deal with it ic. and please don't woobify my characters, some are heavily woobified in fandom spaces, which diminishes everything they've done and accomplished.

03. MAINS AND AFFILIATES. i mostly practice mains and affiliates but i don't do exclusives. affiliates is someone who's super intertwined in my characters development and characterization but aren't exclusives [ could be both, though ]. i won't have multiples of the same character as a main/affiliate, i also don't want to feel " collected " as a main / mutual.

04. STAR WARS + MARVEL. i have been in and out of both rpc's for awhile and i'm really not here for drama. i just want to write. i am a bit more selective with star wars blogs, just due to swrpc. i will be picky about empire and first order muses and kylo ren blogs. i am very anti reylo as a romantic dynamic, just as a warning. i don't mind if i see it on the dash but i'd like for it to be tagged. mcu blogs i'll also be somewhat picky about (i do have an mcu character so i'm not entirely against it). i also find it hard to put x-men / mutant muses in the mcu since they haven't been brought in yet and xmcu doesn't have a lot of room, esp regarding lorna's existence and the lack of genosha (a pivotal moment in her backstory). the timeline is just wack and i don't know how to put my characters in there, but if you're open to helping me out i'd love to write in mcu verses. i am also very against whitewashed maximoffs, hydra and sabra blogs. if you don't explicitly state / make it clear your maximoff muses are romani then i might be a bit hesitant to follow first, since i've been surprised in the past to find what i thought was a comic-based but they used the mcu fcs.

05. PERSONAL BANNED FCS/FANDOMS/CHARACTERS. mcu!maximoffs, rdj!tony stark, rdj!doom, scarjo!black widow, chris pratt!peter quill, james marsden!scott summers, gina carrano!cara dune, rosario dawson!ahsoka tano. won't follow anyone who writes hp characters, multimuses will be on a case by case basis. any and all hydra muses ( as in WILLINGLY being part of hydra, this does not count people who were brainwashed and controlled, like the winter soldier for example ), n*zi affiliated muses, billy hargrove.

06. SHIPPING. i loooove shipping, i love ships !! and most of the time, it doesn't take much for me to ship something but i am usually a bit hesitant to message first, just due to normal anxieties and not being sure if someone is as interested as i am (i'm even kinda hesitant with shipping calls ... i just get nervous, okay!!). chances are if you ship it, i do too!! or the idea of it!! i just won't do any weird ships -- incest, large age gaps (age gaps where both are adults and there isn't a weird power dynamic isn't weird for me!! at a certain point age gaps aren't weird or anything, esp with muses 30+, so i'm really talking about age gaps where one is 18 and the other is late 20s, stuff like that). it is also very UNLIKELY that i will ship r*ylo. it just isn't for me. however i do have a lot of thoughts on the dynamic in a platonic sense if anyone wants to talk to me about it, i love talking about their dynamic past the movies. i have a lot of favorite ships / crackships (rey/finn, jyn/cassian, solas/lavellan, etc) for each character but i will NEVER pressure someone into it. if you feel like i am please let me know and i will dial it back immediately. i get very excited about things especially my characters. i prefer developing through plotting and see if things work out. i also love platonic ships. so just because i ship a pairing doesn’t mean we can’t go a platonic route instead!

07. ACTIVITY. i am a neurodivergent person who deals with depression, anxiety, working full time, etc so i'm not always on. i don't even regularly do replies even though i want to, so sometimes it's just not going to happen. please me patient with me. if you genuinely need me to be consistently active this might not be the blog for you to follow and that's a-okay!! my reply lengths will also vary -- i absolutely can write a lot and used to write more novella but pre-indie i started cutting it down because my partners wrote less, but i'm looking to get back into writing longer replies. that being said, you never have to match length (of course don't reply with a one liner, but if i do multiple paragraphs i don't expect you to do the same or have the same energy).

TLDR, THINGS MAY BE CHANGED AS I DEVELOP HER : tatyana is a former widow who undergoes their serum, multiple rounds of brainwashing, reconditioning and loss of bodily autonomy. black widow scientists also remove her wings and can prevent them from regrowing from a serum, similar to the one that makes widows infertile and complacent.

tatyana, also known was wolf widow [ it comes from her surname ] is an extremely skilled widow. there’s also near to nothing known about her history, where she’s from, her parents, when she was born … she became a person when she became a widow, whenever that was. she’s like a ghost with no background. a woman who is always on the outside looking in.

she’s also a skilled telepath, which the red room used. she was used to control and manipulate people and at times, psychically torture information out of people. sometimes she’d remove memories, sometimes her own with the manipulation and guidance of her superiors.

she’s a victim who never would’ve been cut out for the harsh world of the red room, if it wasn’t for her desire to survive and be able to adapt. at her core, she’s a kind and compassionate woman who’s been hurt a lot and has done the hurting, even if she wasn’t fully aware of it.

she escaped the red room once and was able to help others escape, but she “ died “ [ read : “ sacrificed “ herself to give the others a chance ]. and was sent to kill or bring those same girls back.

despite everything, she truly is able to escape the control of the red room. she’s not normal, she’s had a hard life, and she doesn’t know what to do with herself if she’s not being useful in some capacity. she also, aggressively, wants to right her wrongs and do good.

when she does escape, it takes months for her wings to regrow, as she was no longer ingesting the serum regularly. she doesn’t remember having wings, but she’s always been clumsy and has had an insane amount of chronic pain throughout her body and an odd feeling of phantom limb [ she’s unaware of what it was ]. she has to relearn so much — how to be a person, how to fly, how to use her powers for good, what it means to be a mutant to her.
