See that's the thing. Most people want to call out the heinous abuse in public but are afraid too because once you reveal yourself, you make yourself a target for doxxing and mass reporting from your abusers (example what crawdad and fashionista does). Normally it is the people that call out themselves being abused are driven away rather than the abusers, because the abusers have normally manipulated people which their narcissistic behavior gaining a loyal following which to control aka their simps under a false idea that they are their "friend"

I see lots of that behavior on the realm (and on this blog too) and me learning political science at school has taught me anything, is normally people that amass a large following are naturally narcissistic af and are desperate to be in control of the narrative all the time which they give no to little evidence of their own on their part And will normally dodge questions and try to accusations to another topic to avoid scrutiny in the public eye, even post blame on other people with their following.

I mean you see it in politics all the time too, and the same can be applied to a role play community especially those that want the most attention.

I've seen claims that it was taken out of context, but honestly, the screenshots don’t support that. Regardless, it’s crawdad’s attitude—with their no pun intended, mean-girl persona, always trying to get the last word in—that keeps people bringing it back up as an example of how some people never change. I'll say save yourself the trouble. Like others have said: don’t get involved with the cathedreal group. there’s nothing good there.

I have no skin in the game when it comes to the cathedral. Never had any desire to rp there before the niklos drama, definitely haven't since. That said, why devote so much energy to this person? Going through your post history, it's almost all about niklos. A stranger would call it concerning.

I haven’t elaborated on this in a while, so I can imagine how it looks to someone not in the know, so I’ll refresh memories and explain how and why Niklos commanded this much attention.

To put it simply, Niklos is the primary reason why I endured harassment, ostracism, hatred, and humiliation from the MG community at large from 2018 - 2023. In 2017 I suffered a mental breakdown from everything going wrong in my life to the point I had to get into therapy and be prescribed Hydroxyzine for the intense panic attacks I was enduring. Niklos was no help during this period and, in fact, exacerbated the problem by demeaning me in the background with people like Berenal, Beredric, Maxen, etc., all of whom were making fun of me for being an emotionally volatile piss baby despite the fact I’d come very near to taking my own life.

When I left Remnant at the start of 2018, Niklos broadcasted my mental issues far and wide to essentially tell everyone I was a madman and not to believe a word I said in regards to criticizing her or Remnant. Within 3 months, I was banned from MG Wiki and SLP with flimsy, pathetic reasons, and my investigations yielded that Niklos was imploring these authorities to get rid of me. This is why despite there being offenders at this time guilty of much more heinous things, I was singled out and made out to be Moon Guard’s #1 villain.

I bled out “friends”, suffered debates in the guilds I joined on whether I should be removed due to my poor reputation, endured countless submissions on Moon Guard Secrets calling me a sex pest, a racist, a pedophile, a creep, and “the one reason why RP is going to shit”. It was popular to hate on Hillsbradian and hope he hurt himself (which, I did) and also hope he kill himself. The goal of all of this was to discredit my concerns and criticism of Niklos’ actions.

When I exposed the Imgur album of the Tyrion scandal in 2019, it was like a switch had been flicked, as suddenly Hillsbradian was a good guy again and I was being welcomed back into the community. I didn’t want to be—I was wholly disgusted by what everyone had done to me, and how they expected everything to be waylaid without an apology given. But, I also understood I’d gained significant notoriety, so I decided to use it further to attack people like Maxen for all of his offenses.

As for today, I’m going to be honest, the Niklos thing doesn’t occupy my thoughts as much. There’s still anger and pain when my mind does stray there, but I have a lot of poor, painful memories of the many people I’ve met on Moon Guard who used and abused me—you just never hear about them because they’re not a community figurehead that still commands the attention of hundreds. Niklos is a primary focus because a lot of people on MG still support her and want me to kill myself, and so I have to be the designated figurehead to be the one loudly criticizing her, as nobody else commands as much ire and attention as I do.

It’s ironic, really; Niklos wanted me to shut up forever, but in her efforts to make me into the worst, most evil monster on MG, ended up making me so much of a threat that people feared, reviled, and hated me to the point that I’m now the infamous villain of the community. Hillsbradian has to kill himself before he kills RP forever!!!!

Nowadays, people don’t care as much, or at all about me and my Omega Class-Five threat I represent to RP as a whole. Turns out I didn’t kill the scene with my mere presence, and turns out I am not the monster I was made out to be—a shocker, I know. I’ll still endure stray insults, and it’s no coincidence every time I joined a guild on Brady, that guild endured anonymous harassment (in an effort to ensure I wasn’t ever normalized in anything resembling a community), but things are a lot more quiet these days. I don’t RP as much, and I do PVP/PVE more than I RP, and nobody really cares that much about Hillsbradian… which is how things should be.

Even as far back as 2017, I’ve found it ridiculous how much people were obsessed with my every action and assigned malice to my every move. It’s been absurd how some autistic 21 year old was apparently THE reason for MG RP going down the shitter, and not, say, the end of a popular expansion leading into a mediocre one.

Frankly, if you want to talk about obsession, look at how much energy Niklos devoted trying to ruin my life and my reputation. I know she’s pleased sigh herself right now knowing I did hurt myself and suffer, because that’s what she always wanted. Niklos wanted me dead for committing the sin of disagreeing with her, and everything I have done since has been an attempt to rehabilitate myself to the broader community and provide a voice to others who have also suffered Niklos’ petulant wrath.

Basically, to sum up, there’s a LOT of bad blood that Niklos created, the effects of which are STILL felt today, and it’s on me to try and counteract that so as to never suffer again what I did throughout 2017-2018. This community has made me miserable and depressed, but I’ll be damned if I’ll go down without screaming at the top of my lungs.

The people who are aware of this situation and still choose to interact with you are just as disgusting. You're a stain on the server, one that I wish could be washed away. As news of Fashionista Countess antics became public to us all how can WE as rpers and as a community prevent other virus like this from causing damage.

1. COMMUNICATE: Manipulators in this community can be seen always attempting to control the narrative. sharing notes/Screenshots is something HATE with a passion when people they are using start talking to each other it fucks up there entire antic. (Ex: Fashionista Countess making sure no one speaks to crime elf and trying to get him removed from everything due to him having actual receipts of her behavior.)

2. ISOLATION: People like fashionista Countess will isolate you make you feel like they are your only support system distancing you from others, be opened to reaching out to friends/acquintances/G.Ms etc

3. Most importantly NEVER EVER go off words alone, always ask for receipts don’t let them bait you by using emotional manipulation or pressure of departure if they leave LET THEM.

I play a paladin and was curious is there are any good holy / light based rp groups. It seems the cathedral is riddled with hypocrisy and people that I should stay away from. The drama is unreal. I don’t have much time to play the game, but I think reading the experiences others have had with this cathedral group has left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s difficult to find rp as a paladin (considering the stigma) and that certain individuals monopolize the cathedral and light rp.

I'm honestly disgusted with myself and I've spent months in therapy so far because of what she told me and did to me. What I did because I trusted her. This isn't the story of a victim. This is the story of someone who did terrible things alongside another. No, I'm not going to give you screenshots simply because I don't have them anymore. I left the game, scrubbed my discord, because that's what you do when a mob of people you don't even know is howling at your doorstep and for good reason. Story begins with a 15 y/o me. I struggle with mental health alongside IRL health problems and she was nice to me. She helped me when I couldn't afford to pay $15 for the only thing that kept me from hurting myself. I thought it was a gift. I thought she was the nicest person on the planet. I believed in her, that she would never hurt me, that no matter what, I could trust her words because why would she ever lie? To me? And that was the trap. The lure. That was the first manipulation. We would RP over the years on and off and she would tell me about her NSFW adventures, brag about who and how many. I thought she was cool because I was a child and immature. You must be so popular if so many people want to fuck you, right? Because of my blind devotion, I couldn't see how she was limiting my friend's circle one-by-one. All she had to do was utter a single lie from her lips and I fucking believed her. I ended friendships overnight because she was so convincing. I helped her in smear campaigns because I saw the twists she invented in the words of others. People who desperately didn't deserve what happened to them all because she wanted me for her own. But as I said at the beginning, this isn't a victim post. I'm just as much to blame for my actions. I fed her when she was hungry because she paid for my sub. As much as I gave, it was never enough though. A few screenshots here, a smear campaign there. But she paid for my sub. She paid for my sub. "I helped pay for your sub when you couldn't afford it." And thus the rabbit hole began with Fashionista Countess.

Given how you guys are like in vc about "so nice to me" or "nicest person I know" maybe they are being nice to you because you simp for them hard. I know someone recently who left them was completely in the dark about the: child grape thing fictional or not "letting it go" isn't the answer. It's just scummy real or not.
