Also, how do you police characterization of our muses? How far do you let our interpretations of the characters go? I haven't done any roleplaying on tumblr since 2013, and I'm a little scared that I won't be completely accurate at first. Does this group police that at all? ; - ; Thank you so much! 2/2
The only thing we really ask is to make it as reasonable as possible. For example in certain cases with characters such as Harvest Goddess (or the Witches and Wizards), we ask you that you try not to make them ‘Over Powered’ and be reasonable with whatever magic/powers you’d like to give them. As far as their past, let your imagination flow!
For other characters like the villagers, you can also use your imagination, but do try to be close to the HC as you can!
We do like for our members to make a character their own, and while that might be easier with a character with next to no known background or a protagonist, It can be taken over board. The easiest way to explain it is to not change what is canon. If a character like Candace (AP) is written as loud and outgoing it is not going according to canon. She is shy character so she should be written as such.
But we are putting our characters through situations that are not canon so that is really where our interpetations come though.
But overall please don't worry about your the way you write character, we are thrilled that you are even thinking about coming back into role playing to join us. Just be reasonable, and imaginative! And if you have any more questions could to us mods anytime

Hi, I have a few questions about this RP group! So I really like Harvest Moon, and I've played a good few of the games, but not all of them, unfortunately. I am knowledgeable about the games I haven't played for the most part, though. I haven't played any Rune Factory either... Will that affect my eligibility to be a part of this group? (1/2)
