[Hey kiddies, today I went out to practice at my fire range. It’s a beat up spot, but it does the trick. After spending some time writing in my journal and mentally preparing myself for a fight that has yet to come, I thought I should spread some knowledge to the folks at home. If you’re not infected, that is.]

Here’s a picture of the range. If you’re curious, I get my practice targets from Walmart and Academy sports, the rest is DIY:

[So what is the best way to defend yourself against the infected masses when the government finally initiates an offensive? Easy, I’ll show you.]

[Pay attention, this is important. I carry a Tec-9, Mossberg 500, and my trusty Colt M1911, but for any survivor, any standard firearm will suffice. Though I deem it’s important to have all three for any scenario, you don’t know what the enemy could be plotting.]

[My trusty colt is over a hundred years of war crimes in a steel frame. It’s a semi automatic with a .45 ACP (Automatic colt pistol, if you’re stupid). It’s single action with a short recoil, so if you’re inexperienced, you don’t have to adjust your hand too much. Very beginner friendly with enough practice. Its effective range is 50 meters, which is more than enough to blow any motherfucker’s head off who messes with you. Therapy ain’t got shit on this baby.]

[As for the Mossberg, it’s your standard pump action shotgun. Typically 5 + 1 mags reliably, and light with a tactical. Dual extractors, twin action bars, anti-jam elevator—it’s mil‑spec sturdy too. Can’t go wrong with one of these. Anything close enough will have enough holes to stick your hand through. But don’t try that, unless you want to. I’m not judging.]

[And for my final beauty, the Tec-9. She’s a 9 x 19mm caliber. Simple blowback, closed bolt(after the ATF redesign), with about 10-50 rounds a mag. To top it off with an effective range of 50 meters, she’s a real knockout Betty. If you can’t tell, I play favorites. I had to get her off some blackmarket, since it’s banned. Though I tell you, if you get a hand on one of these things, I have no doubt about your ability to survive during the mass hysteria the government eventually releases upon us.]

(Pro tip: Don’t let the bitch jam, it’s a headache to get her up and going again.)
