Gaza’s health ministry has updated its death toll since the conflict broke out on October 7, to 9,061, including 3,760 children and 2,326 women.
Please, please do not be desensitized to the numbers. Please don't look away! Palestinians do not even have the privilege look away! Do not stop protesting, do not stop demanding for a ceasefire, do not stop donating esims or money or humanitarian aid, do not stop looking ways for help, do not stop talking about Palestine!
you might have seen different methods of donating e-sims to palestine going around and here’s one of them! for only a few dollars you can buy up to a week’s worth of data for someone, and it has more direct impact than donating your money to an org. palestinians have been using these to stay connected during the internet blackouts
you can’t wait for stocks of a company to plummet immediately and then be like “ok i’m done!”
you have to keep boycotting until the company releases an official statement retracting their support of genocidal regimes. and you have to keep boycotting the ones actively participating in crimes permanently until they shut down completely.
it shouldn’t be hard. go to your local cafe instead of starbucks. invest in a coffee machine. look up the recipes online and make em yourself. yes it’ll cost money but it’s not like sbucks is cheap. if you can afford regular purchases of overpriced coffee you can afford a one-time purchase of a coffee machine.
don’t go to mcdonald’s. go have food from small businesses. if you’re craving fried chicken, go to your local fried chicken store. there are bound to be plenty. look up recipes and make them at home even. it’ll be healthier anyway.
don’t watch disney shows and movies. if you do want to, maybe don’t use official disney sites to do so. it’s harder to boycott tv shows but try your best to find a way around it. don’t go to disneyland. you can sacrifice your fun for a greater cause.
there are alternatives for all these things.
remember: you do not have to boycott every company, you just need to boycott these big ones. focus your energy on bringing down the big fish.
