I really like this russian edition of classic books. Letting famous artists do the covers in YA style was such a simple but clever decision. According to the recent study the number of teenage readers increased, possibly thanks to these covers. I own traditional classics with blank covers but if I ever see one of these in the wild, it’ll probably make me go feral.

Cure (MiziSua edition) but with Gelphie for the beginning of Pride Month let's gooooooo (aka. me remembering I have a Tumblr and I have to post something I did for MerMay)

This was something I was nervous about recreating but I think I pulled it off! I was motivated to draw this after the trailer for Wicked Part 2 came out.

Even before the movie, I REALLY lived Wicked as it was the catalyst for my love of musical theatre and introduced me to more than just Disney musicals. And I really enjoyed the Wicked movie, definitely a nice distraction from the world burning around us.

After the army entered the city, we went out to Rafah under the attack of planes and missiles.And the bullets that spare no one, we lived in torn tents that did not protect from the heat, the cold, or the rain. All the words in the world cannot describe what we have lived through. All I want is for you to look at me and my family with a merciful heart and help me.

Before October 7th, I lived a humble life, dedicated to teaching and raising my children. But everything changed. Since that day, my family and I have been living in unimaginable conditions—without electricity, without clean water, without safety.

Our home was destroyed, and we now sleep in a torn tent, exposed to the freezing cold. My children cry from hunger and fear. The markets are empty or unaffordable. Bread is now a luxury—I knead pasta just to make something to fill their stomachs

Please open your heart and stand with us in this time of despair.

We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive. A blanket for the cold. A piece of bread. A roof that does not leak. A moment of peace for my children

another one of my unfinished fancure series, theyre phantom thieves with a gemstone submotif!

each cure is based on a rogue character archetype and has different gemstones as their henshin item. purple is our leading lady, cure carat who is based on arsene lupin and has amethyst as her gem, blue is her first partner, cure raven, who has the sapphire and a ninja theme, and pink is cure briar, who is based on zorro and has the ruby, is the rival thief who later joins the team.
