Alright witches, we can't half ass anymore
As all my witchy lessons comes from, here's some new knowledge gained from my own mistakes.
I sage my place up, burn it and smoke my house out. Gives me asthma is I don't open up the windows and just makes the flies sleepy for 20min. You're SUPPOSED to open the windows as you go, wave it around doorframes and windowframes and keep the windows open airing out the place for 30min. Flies get out, air is refreshed.
But the flies just get sleepy and the smoke needs to die down, so I got a spray bottle of water and put some lavender and mint fragrances in it, spray it around. Scents too strong for most buggies, claim my territory, calm the smoke.
But now the bees are coming, cause my place smells so flowery and good. Now I have to plant some herbs and flowers outside so the bees understand the fresh stuff is outside, an offering to the good bugs pushing the bad ones that could cause disease out of a larger territory.
But once we plant, we have to harvest so as not to leave out rotting crops which brings about the slugs and flies all over again. Which brings about the need for salt at the doors, to stop the slugs, but brings mice, and then I put down citrus peels which bring the flies. Vicious cycles at work.
These are the secrets we used to know. These used to be just how we worked with nature.
Sigh, well time to go get some plants to make the bees and squirrels feel at home.

🌸 Witchy Cheesecake Recipe 🌸
☽⦁──────── ⦁⧊⦁ ────────⦁☾
☽⦁──────── ⦁⧊⦁ ────────⦁☾
I made my first cheesecake today and decided to share the recipe! I am not a kitchen witch, but I've been making a lot more food lately and I'm getting into it, so who knows (:
☽⦁──────── ⦁⧊⦁ ────────⦁☾
Ingredients
250g cream cheese
Half a can of condensed milk (small)
Half a pack of biscuits of your choice
Half a lemon
1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Edible flowers (optional)
☽⦁──────── ⦁⧊⦁ ────────⦁☾
Magickal Properties Of Ingredients
Cheese : grounding, healing, joy, things coming to fruition
Sugar / milk (condensed milk) : love, nurturing, spirituality
Cookies : (in general) nurturing, love
Lemon : faithfulness, friendship, happiness, longevity, love, marriage
Butter : smoothing relationships, spirituality, tenacity
Vanilla : joy, love, luck, lust, mental powers

Recipe
Melt the butter, crush the biscuits and make a base for the cake
Juice the lemon and mix this with the cream cheese, condensed milk and vanilla extract
Wisk until it forms a loose paste and add to the base
Grate the lemon peel and add it to the top of the cake, along with your flowers for decoration
Place it in the refrigerator for 3 hours and serve

Extra Notes
This is a vegetarian recipe, therefore the cake will be a bit flimsy and should rather be served as a dessert or in seperate bowls.
If you don't mind gelatine, you can add that for more firmness. There is also vegan gelatine available, but I did not have access to it.
Don't be scared to tweak the recipe! If you prefer it sweeter, add more condensed milk and if you prefer it more sour, add more lemon.
I mostly eat according to a vegan diet, but every now and then I go vegetarian, especially when it comes to cake. If you are 100% vegan, I'm sure there are other recipes online for you to use.
