The Crown of Jaehaerys is such a good example of how well Ramin Djawadi composes music that suits the overarching narrative while adding to the worldbuilding and instilling the story within you before you witness it.

The track starts somber, builds upto the vocalization that just strikes you and then moves to this almost epic but moreso grounded and inspiring section and it slowly builds down melancholy again to silence.

Like, that is exactly what we need from Jaehaerys' theme. For all the great king he was, for all the good he did the realm, for all the children he bore and people he helped he was also mysoginistic.

But he is the product of how the Targaryens deeply adopted the faith and doomed themselves because of how they treated their women. For all the good he did he also ended up picking Viserys over Rhaenys. I have zero doubt that Rhaenys wouldn't have been a good ruler. She should have been queen.

Jaehaerys got the crown because his sister, Rhaena, was robbed of it, his grand father got the crown because Visenya was robbed of it. There is nuance here but the brother-sister marriage thing between the elder siblings stems down to, the men must rule but we must not seem like we are discrediting the women. It's clear in the remarks he makes to Alysanne and in how he started referring to Aemon as his heir despite Daenerys being the eldest that he has the same mindset.

And that undid the Targaryens. They argued against the rightful heir and put the younger brother on the throne because of his gender and Jaehaerys picking Viserys did nothing but add to their arguements against Rhaenyra. The dance was a product of women being robbed for time immemorial and children and bystanders paying for it the most.

AVA STARR Headcanons PT 1

-- ava would love gaming and be in a lot of niche communities online beccause as we know homegirl spent most of her life indoors being tested on and then slowly fading away before janet helps her out so she probably goes on in the internet a lot

-- since she doesn't mention a phone addiction unlike yelena and john so i headcanon that bill foster at some point staged an intervention and helped her get it under control

-- her lowest point would be when she was so bored she beefed with kids on roblox and lost her mind when some random 12 year old beat her on dress to impress

-- she probably plays dress to impress with yelena and they rage over getting last place every time they play (credit to @padchai for adding this one)

-- in part of her rehabilitation, bill gets her into gardening. ava very ironically after watching a youtube video also picks up tea/coffee brewing and gets very into it. every month she has a detox day where she just sits around and cleanses her mind of all over stimulation, just touches grass, takes walks and chills.

-- ava would also be such a loungewear person, like she got so used to it that it's just default for everything. it's not like she's going to go out and party all night, she has to play stardew valley with her online friends

-- she probably bingewatches everything. knows the names of all the chefs in masterchef australia by heart, can name each one by year and expertise and their ranking great british bake off? sold. game of thrones? she was bored one night and finished season one and the rest is history, she will cry whenever the stark theme plays and will mutter "damn lannisters" under her breath whenever someone mentions the red wedding. hell she probably watched the witcher and played the games and has too much to say about it

-- she's lowkey feral when it comes to her interests but she keeps a code. she won't use her powers to cut line to buy gta 6 (in the mcu it is out and the fans aren't suffering). she will absolutely tear someone to pieces if they say incel shit and it appears on her fyp but will accept constructive opinions and hot takes. everyone gets to have their opinion unless it's stupid and harmful

Fun facts NOT related to Anne Boleyn. Was not blipped. Huge fan of mythology, epics and such. Quotes random passages and makes references no one understands much to their annoyance. Liked epic poems so much, she learnt how to sing them out as they are supposed to be sung. Also learnt, classical flute and guitar to add to the effect. Was dismal at it but practiced enough that she was deemed more than passable and pretty good by people who had to listen to her. Loves to soak in the sun and water, she’s a water baby. General infortmation : — Born in Bath, England to a history professor and a vet. Her grandparents were French-Indian and her mother moved to England to study history. Her father’s parents were immigrants from India. Her father wasn’t around as much and her mother simply told her he was off fighting in some war, she later found out her mother had been lying and that he worked as a vet in Lancashire and her parents simply couldn’t stand each to be in each other’s company. — She was separated from them at the age of 9 when her parents for once cooperated to get her tested for some genetic disorder. The lab’s doctor was working with SHIELD (but actually HYDRA) medical experts and biologists and upon discovering the x-gene in her DNA sent word to their bosses with haste. Within the afternoon the Boleyns were being told that their daughter had been selected for a medical study and that it was government sanctioned. Her parents caught off guard couldn’t do much at the moment but watch her be led away. — She remained under HYDRA until SHIELD's fall. At HYDRA she was trained in general combat, administration of basic and emergency medical care, multiple languages, making and designing of weapons and armory. As sources suggest her powers may have been subject to inspection and she very well may have trained with them as well. In the chaos that followed one of her handlers bartered her for immunity and she was then “employed” by a Russian diplomat/criminal in Germany by the name of Ivan Petrovich (Black Widow reference for people interested) — Worked for Ivan for a little over a year, she ended up killing him as she was running away. The story of her escape was odd and impressive enough for her to earn the name ‘das Otter’ (the Otter), coined by the guards after her. Further supported by her tendency for escapes at HYDRA. — Spent the next year on the run and making a name for herself as a metal worker. Eventually ended up in Madripoor and running in with the new up and coming powerhouse the “Power Broker”. Her management skills come from this time as she oversaw many operations and business endeavours, even dealing on behalf of the Power Broker at times. — Sometime before the events of TFATWS she moved to Munich to fully take charge of and oversee her forging company and remained there, running her business until after the events of Thunderbolts*, when Bucky approaches her. Her company, Vulcan Forgers, caters to many high profile clientele and specialize in custom weapons, jewellery and movie props.
