Dr. Shelly Finnerty BSc (Melb), BDSc (Melb)
Shelly graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science in 1996, and then completed her Bachelor of Dental Science in 1998. Immediately after graduation, she headed to Wangaratta, where she was able to obtain experience in all aspects of general practice. She then headed overseas to the UK for 2 years, where she obtained further experience, both privately and in the NHS.
She joined Moore Street Dental in 2003, and settled into the team immediately. In 2012, Shelly became a business partner in Moore Street Dental, and upon Dr Peter Johnson’s retirement in 2018, became the Practice Principal at MSD. She is working hard towards building and developing the practice into the future.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in endodontics. She is highly professional, honest and ethical, and endeavours to always get the best results for her patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys all aspects of living in Melbourne, like going to the Australian Open tennis, as well as going hiking and spending time with friends. Photography and travelling are passions, and she enjoys sharing some of her photographs with patients, and discussing her latest adventures.
