" i hope no one is. those grizzlys can get pretty intense when you're up close and personal. " emmett held back a chuckle, keeping a calm demeanor as he gave the stranger a few look overs, trying to decipher if he was a threat or not. not that it would have stopped emmett from carrying on, anyway. " do you want me to like, call an uber for you or something ? or kick someones ass ? because honestly i feel like if you fought someone right now, that would be way too messy. "

" that was kind of the whole fucking point. " tyler should've been nicer. especially when the whole town was looking in on his family. the last thing he needed was to be caught attacking someone, so he tried to calm himself down by breathing heavily. emmett had to force himself back from laughing, the look on the strangers face obviously having the intended effect. he took a split moment to debate on whether to fully dive into the bit, but decided against it. " he stuck his hand out before realizing the stranger might have spent way too much on those coffees to risk spilling them and slipped his hand back in his pocket.
