Their bond is really specific and really sweet.
I like how Johnny is impressed with Morriessy and clearly seems to be weirdly protective and also takes on his world view and ideas. Like becoming vegetarian ( and they both are vegan now )
He trusted him completely, and I wouldn't be surprised if he still felt this way about him
