AU where Red and Blue are ghosts and the only one who can see them is Vio because he's possessed by a certain demonic Shadow. Green is just a really concerned friend.
I like the way you think!
There are so many factors that could lead to different sorts of AUs. Where does this version of Shadow sit on the benevolent-to-malevolent scale? How did he end up possessing Vio in the first place? How did Red and Blue die? What are they haunting and why? Or maybe it’s who they are haunting… maybe Vio suspects Green is being haunted and summons a demon to ask some questions and try to figure out why/what to do about it. So many different directions it could go.
(Anyone here read the Bartimaeus trilogy? ‘Cause this AU concept is giving me some serious Bartimaeus and Ptolemy feels TT^TT)

OK, we have some artwork of HorDad being nice to the baby... But not enough of Imp trying to do something nice for Hordak..? Soooo, I ended up doodling him cosplaying Hordak, playing
"Imperfections are beautiful" -- with Entrapta's voice on loop
to cheer Hordak on one of his lows...
This sounded better on my head but ANYWAYS

#ohno #aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa #bodyhorror #it’s lit tho #but NOT THE LUVD CRYSTAL #f u catra aaaa
Today, on Things That Upset Me Because I Think About Them Too Much:
This distresses me. The way Catra uses Hordak’s neck port to disable him distresses me. The fact that she encourages Glimmer to do the same to other clones distresses me.
I know that this is stupid. I know that it’s written like this to give our heroes an easy way to disable the clones and keep the plot moving forwards, but… ehn. I really don’t like it.
It’s another one of those things that really emphasizes how little our main characters acknowledge what has been done to the clones, what sort of horrific lives they lead. What’s being used as a convenient clone-disabling target is a port that each and every one of them has installed, from “birth,” for the sole purpose of allowing Prime to control and manage them as the purpose-bred slaves they are. And it’s just… never mentioned.
And Catra doing this to him… it’s uncomfortably close to her ripping out the LUVD crystal. It’s another instance of her using his physical disability and inborn vulnerabilities to hurt him. And I just… I hate that she touches him that way. I hate that she sticks her claws into such a vulnerable area without ever acknowledging the chilling reality of it all.
Like, that’s his nervous system. Don’t touch it. Pain aside, you could really hurt him. You could cause permanent damage. You could paralyze him. You could… I don’t know… you could introduce infection by just shoving your damned unwashed hand into his neck. I don’t… I don’t even know what you could truly do. I just know that I don’t like it, and I don’t want her to do it, and… and it’s what Prime did. It’s how Prime touched him. It’s how he violated him.
And I know that it’s stupid, and that this is a dumb cartoon, and that I’m overreacting… but I hate it. I hate it, and I want to bite her hand when she does it.

We need more on the Hordak being a loving to adopted Mini-Hordak-Clone Imp

I remember seeing someone in the tag wondering why there isn’t content of Hordak being sweet to Imp so I’m heRE TO DELIVER-

You know why I love Entrapdak?
Because Hordak always wanted to be loved despite his imperfections, but Entrapta loves him because of that. Something he didn’t even think possible.
Because Entrapta wants him to grow and grow with him.
Because Entrapta was accepted only because she was useful, but here is someone who likes her for her.
Because it shows a healthy, adult romance in a show (and culture) full with Teenager romances. (Which further shows that She-ra is really good at diversity. Nestossa and Castaspella also fit this category)
Because it has shown that Entrapta, an autistic recluse, who has problems connecting to people, can still teach and nurture an even more lost person.
Because they understand each other.
Because outside of their relationship, they are still defined individuals. They aren’t dependent on each other. It would be really easy to have them come across that way, after all they seem to be the only ones who really get each other.

OK, so... I finally figured how to properly tag!
I’m definitely gonna rant since I can now! >:D
So... story time? TL;DR: I was very happy and inspired when Noelle & Co.’s take on Entrapdak ending... aaaaaand have been reading the superb @spacebatisluvd Drabbles and the way they fleshed out the relationship of this weird Family, and how they care and rely for each other...
..."Friends are the Family that we get to choose", they say. But, I personally feel that for Hordak it was backwards. After all, I like to think that not only Entrapta, but Imp and WH as well chose to love Hordak back?
Because he already knew how to love and devote, he only needed to love the people who loved him back... And that rings true for all the crew, and it warms my heart.
Thus the name “The Family that chooses You“, because I’m corny like that... Ocasionally...
