In continuation of my prose piece, my poem and my gushy mood LOL

I figured out why being independent is so important to me

My closest friends are friends with Shashank. It sounds silly. And I'm actually mostly over him, truthfully. But it's like not singing that "na na na na na hey hey hey" song after you break up with someone and you want to go cut your hair and reinvent yourself. Well I already sorta did that with my hair. But I wanted to meet new people, make friends that are actually in this state who don't know him. Who have nothing to do with him. And that's not at all their faults because I love them to death. And he's a good guy. But in my pursuit of happiness, I wanted that cliche, "where no one knows you in college." Because I'm not even close to the person I was when I was with him or when I first came to Cerritos. I feel like I'm so much better and I want to continue to enrich my life in positive ways with positive people. I sit here in my bed with the softest and warmest blanket, remembering our days in lit when we wanted to just sleep so badly, our beds would beckon for our hair to scatter all over the people, but alas, we have to finish lit. I don't have to do that anymore. In fact I can do literally whatever I want and sleep early tonight to stop by school tomorrow and come home and even sleep again if I want to. But in a weird way I miss that feeling in lit. I miss some of the occasional sleepless nights. That's what makes life exciting. The stories you get to tell later. The inside jokes about Shakespeare that only the best of friends would understand and even laugh at <3 And the COMPLETELY normal crush on your amazing and suave lit teacher....totes normal. 

But back to the bigger picture. I guess we have a vision of what we want our lives to be, but it rarely does work out that way. But more often than not, that's how it's supposed to work out. Heck, if life did work the way we wanted it to, we wouldn't have that character in our personalities. We wouldn't feel accomplished after going through a rough patch because we wouldn't ever have any. 

I like feeling accomplished. Who doesn't? ....I'm starting to feel sleepy and losing track of my point haha. These are my thoughts for the night.

I talked to Bose yesterday :) We talked for two hours and we were talking about you for a while <3 Nothing really new with me really. Just really in the mood to relax haha...I thought I would have more to say in this post, but maybe I will another day :) Have a wonderful day sweetie
