Facebook Group Editing
Recently, I decided to delete a bunch of groups I have been following for a long time. I assumed it would be as simple as selecting the groups (in bulk) and unfollowing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as simple as that. I needed to click each group, unfollow, walk through a questionnaire, “are you sure you want to unfollow,” delete and start over again, one by one. This took longer than I anticipated and left me frustrated with the process.

Surround Sound Control Box
The sound this produces fantastic but the control box itself is a complicated booger. There are endless setting and sound options. I find myself scrolling and scrolling and hitting random buttons until I’m satisfied with the sound. This surely could be simplified!

I love this app! Not only dose Expedia find the best deals but it also makes the booking experience easy for the user! Once I’ve booked my trip, it saves my trip information for my convenience. Very organized app!

I don’t know if anyone else runs into this issue with fb market app? When I try to view the product I inquire about, I do not see an option to do so. I click all the icons, hold down on the image to see if there’s a prompt and no luck. I end up frustrated and give up. I do know there is a way but it shouldn’t be so difficult to find!

ZocDoc
This app made it so easy for me to schedule a doctor appointment. I plugged in my location, insurance, and avalibilty. From there, I was able to select a doctor and schedule a time that was convent for me. The walk-through was painless. The icons are obvious and information was easy to digest.

This coffee bean grinder is nice to have but the overall design makes for a messy experience. Coffee ground spill out everywhere once the beans are done grinding.

SimpliSafe
SimpliSafe is an home security product. The sensors are easy to install, no tirelessly reading the instruction manual. The company really simplified the experience for the users. Select “home” or “away” to turn on the alarm and “off” followed by a PIN number to turn off the alarm. Easy-peasy!

This system is very nice to have, but the control box is not intuitive. I have had the same system for a few years and still need to pull out the user manual to figure out how to function it.

VW Atlas Cruise Control
This week's example of good user experience is the VW cruise functionality. I love this feature. The technology sets the speed and allows you to set the distance between the vehicles in front of you. Then, the VW will automatically adjust its speed when approaching the car. In addition, it keeps the vehicle between the lines and does not allow you to drift outside of the lane.

Dirt Cheap App
The Dirt Cheap app always gives me headaches. It is very slow to load, and the scanning system 9 times out of 10 gives an error message. It would be a great tool if it functioned properly, but the unreliability factor is annoying.

The Joss & Main app is one of my favorites! It is intuitive and has products organized to be easy to navigate and browse. The icons are simple, and the layout is clean and crisp.
