Definitely would! I usually wear a corset bc I like having my tattoos show lol. I’ve been on the hunt for like an emerald green suit but kinda hard when you’re a shorty lol.

Is the national team and comp squads as friendly/lifting each other up/sister-shippy as they seem or are there cliques/rivalries/tension at all?

Personally, the other athletes are what got me through the adversity that gymnastics brings. At camps and comps we would hangout when not training/competing and even during the comp as soon as we didn’t need to focus we would be yapping away. All the support you see is completely genuine. We all want one another to compete to the best of our abilities so that we can push one another to be better

I love a good suit. I’ve worn suits with corsets a few times but just haven’t dished out to buy a nice suit just yet. I actually prefer suits than dresses because I hate my legs touching lol

Would you ever go camping or hiking? Do you think of yourself as an outdoorsy person?

I would hike if it only took 2 hours round trip lol. tbh I do not like being outside unless it’s a nice fall day

So like the only differences between practice and comp leos are just like how they look and feel (like the material)?

not even the material. both are made out of the same material but comp leos just usually have sleeves attached

ok but actually smthn that’s so cool about the olympics is how insanely wide the range of body types is. like put simone biles next to lebron james next to ilona maher next to katie ledecky next to sha’carri richardson. not a single one of them looks anything alike but they’re all at the absolute peak performance for their respective sports. idk i just think it’s awesome to see just how varied humans are and how no matter what body type you have, there’s some sort of sport that’s full of people who look like you <3

Since there's no dumb question, is there any real differences between a practice leo and a comp leo?

so like yes and no?

competition leos typically have a more intricate design, a bunch of rhinestones, and are long sleeve. while practice leos may have a simpler design (not always the case) and have no sleeves.

however, this ofc is not an official rule by any means as we have seen Chuso compete in a leo with no sleeves and the Germans paving the way for a modest fit. in fact, many gyms have their lower levels compete in a “practice” leo (it’s usually just more blinged out than a regular practice leo) as they are wayyyy less expensive

I wanna say thank you for the representation in gymnastics, like you're an inspiration for young queer athletes and their fans no matter what sport! Honestly wish more queer gymnasts were active on here.

How would you describe your fashion? Like what kind of styles do you like?

well most of the time my friends say I dress like a little boy since I just wear a lot of oversized pieces lol. I’m ngl though I don’t really know how to classify my style so someone correct me if I’m wrong haha; I like grunge and am aiming for Korean street style

I'm surprised more gymnasts don't have shorter hair, like either your length or in a pixie cut. I know y'all tie your hair up in a pony but still I thought longer hair would get in the way (not an athlete btw, just a fan lol).

if you have layers like me it’s just a pain to even try to put up plus personally, it makes me look bald
