Hey, just so anyone whose mind isn't rotted by video essayists knows: The anti-LGBT film Lady Ballers produced by the Daily Wire was supposed to be a documentary. The original plan behind the film was that they were going to actually get a bunch of men to dress in drag and enter into women's sports, then record the results.

However, the barrier of entry for trans women to qualify for admission into women's sports proved to be prohibitively high, and they couldn't find any men willing to go the extra mile in undergoing hormone therapy and transitioning to the point they met the criteria for admission.

The Daily Wire accidentally disproved and discredited the entire concept of "men in women's sports", and were forced to turn the film into a shitty piece of comedy fiction instead.

okay but Mairon being an outcast in Almaren.

-He’s undoubtedly talented but is too closed off and strange to actually have close friends

-His creativity is stifled by all the rules and regulations, his dearest inventions are always a bit too extreme or unusual to be allowed or taken seriously

-Curumo is resentful of Mairon being more talented than he could ever hope to be

-Mairon is sort-of friends with Eonwë, but he can’t be himself around him. Eonwë wouldn’t appreciate his ideas or desire for freedom

-Mairon knows Curumo is the most highly regarded of Aulë’s apprentices. He’s more renowned but Curumo is truly liked

-Mairon becomes almost painfully shy. He knows he’s not appreciated for who he is, but he doesn’t know how to be what the others will accept

-He understands forging and metals and inventions. He doesn’t understand charisma. He’s not appreciated for the only things he knows. He tries to be the best he can be but it is never what the others want

-Mairon withdraws and hides in his studies and work. But his refuge is also his prison

-The day he overhears Aulë confiding one of the other smiths about Mairon, wishing it was Curumo with his talent, is the day he decides he wants to leave Almaren

-Melkor was the first to accept and love Mairon for himself instead of just for his skill at the forge

-When Melkor offers Mairon the chance to leave, he takes it without hesitation

-In the centuries that follow, Mairon learns false charisma and persuasiveness. He can convince nearly anyone to see things his way. He is feared and respected and adored.

But Mairon is at his happiest when he is alone with Melkor, talking about his inventions and his ideas and his plans without any pressure to be charismatic or act like Curumo or Eonwë once did.

This is a comment someone appended to a photo of two men apparently having sex in a very fancy room, but it’s also kind of an amazing two-line poem? “His Wife has filled his house with chintz” is a really elegant and beautiful counterbalancing of h, f, and s sounds, and “chintz” is a perfect word choice here—sonically pleasing and good at evoking nouveau riche tackiness. And then “to keep it real I fuck him on the floor” collapses that whole mood with short percussive sounds—but it’s still a perfect iambic pentameter line, robust and a lovely obscene contrast with the chintz in the first line. Little sexy Silvergifting thing I imagine with my whole heart is that Celebrimbor is the only being in all existence that is truly capable of picking Sauron apart until he's fully trembling and whimpering beneath him. Celebrimbror’s hands and fingers are able to work magic unlike any other, and he's able to memorize every little sensitive spot on Annatar’s body. Every time he learns how Annatar enjoys where and how to be touched he seeks to improve it.

Just like he does with his craft, each new piece must be better than the last, and he treats Annatar the same way. Sauron is at first hesitant to let anyone that close, to let anyone seek out his vulnerabilities, even just with his body. But Celebrimbor’s hands are simply irresistible, and he can't get enough. Celebrimbor has the Dark Lord shaking, trembling, whimpering and crying tears of pleasure underneath him it's the only time Sauron lets himself be vulnerable, and he loves every second of it.
