Planning an Olivine (Nu Carnival) cosplay and the gems are confusing me. Unsure if I wanna use resin or thermo plastic

Both have pros and cons, thermo plastic cheap and easy to color but isn't clear, and resin has the clear look desired but I don't personally like working with it
