Before we get started with the rules, here’s a DNI list. If you indulge in any of these, I ask you move along. Do not interact with me if you are: homophobic, transphobic, a trump supporter, a zionist, lesbiphobic, ableist, an active “pro-shipper”, support or actively condone incest, plan to do anything along these lines regarding my muses on all blogs, or use ai to write/generate “art” for you. Thank you. Also, personals, please DNI unless you have a side rp blog.

Also, if I catch you trying to interact with my child muses in an inappropriate way, you will be blocked and reported. Platonic/familial ships for them only, since some seem to have issues understanding this.

1 ~ No NSFW asks, please (I have another blog for that) - but suggestive (to a point) is fine! I can do violence and things of that nature, but it will be tagged accordingly.

2 ~ This blog is for my HSR OC, please be respectful :)

3 ~ Owner of this blog (Hi, name's Lottie :3) will pop in sometimes, so please be nice! Also, mod is 22 and married! (basically no flirting outside of RP context) Also, my timezone is EST <3

4 ~ Please be nice to me OOC. Sometimes my replies are slow, because I do have a life outside of RP. Being mean in RP is cool, as long as it goes with the thread/the character.

5 ~ Communication is key!! If an RP thread isn't working for you/you want to drop it (given you provide me a reason) DM me and let me know! I'm actually nice I swear ( T . T )

6 ~ If you have a rules/an about, please put it somewhere where I can see it! I would like to be aware of what you will and will not do if we end up role playing together. If you don’t have one, just take the time to make a basic post until you have something more substantial, or you can just let me know in DMs if you prefer.

7 ~ Just be respectful/nice in general on here. No hate of any kind will be tolerated.

8 ~ I can basically do any type of RP, but I do tend to use a more formally formatted type of RP, though.

9 ~ Minors can interact with this blog, as there will be no NSFW present. Suggestive humor at most, but even then, it will be mild. But, I do ask that if you are under the age of 17, you shy away from my main. (Or block the #burning petals tag/be mindful of what you interact with or consume) Please and thank you :)

10 ~ Also, this is a multi-ship blog. Meaning - even though my OC has a set canon S/O, she can still be shipped with other canon characters and OCs alike. (Her canon S/O will be announced as her story progresses) But, she is an adult! No child/underage ships are allowed. Platonic relationships are just fine.

11 ~ This blog isn't just for RP!! Feel free to ask my OC literally anything, she'll answer! (or, if you want to ask me something, DM me or just specify if it's for the mod to answer the ask aka me)

12 ~ Although, I will allow personal blogs to interact — I will not engage in threads with them. You can send in various asks and stuff, but unless you have a side blog or other RP account, that’s as far as it goes.

To sum it up: I followed someone (they’re mutuals only, nothing wrong with that), interacted with them a little, they never followed back, and I decided it wasn’t worth it because it was wearing on me so I just unfollowed

I won’t worry about someone who won’t worry about me, basically

Unless someone I unfollow follows me in the future, then I will no longer interact with them

After a few moments, Merindah began to quietly hum along as he played. She watched as his hands glided along the instrument, almost hypnotized. Like a snake being charmed by a snake charmer.

“You’re a good player,” she murmured.

She’d always admired people who could play one, or even multiple instruments. It was like an exercise of the mind and soul. She played an instrument back at home…or at least she thought. Maybe she could learn again.

Merindah stood at the doorway of her room. She was…bored. Well, bored wasn’t the right word. Itching to do something was more like it. She wanted to talk with someone. Anyone. About what, though? Just something. Something to distract her, maybe. Her mind felt jumbled, yet too organized at the same time.

She began to walk. She walked for a while, just mindlessly wandering. Then, she saw someone. Did she recognize them? They seemed unfamiliar. She quietly went up to them, and tapped their shoulder.

Niko was just reading a book, his brows furrowed. His hair was braided into one huge one (think like rapunzel) and it laid upon his lap, flowers braided through it. Though, he looked up, his book clasping closed even before she could tap his shoulder. “ Yes? ” He spoke, now finally turning his head towards her.

“That…would be nice,” Merindah said. A ghost of a smile curved her lips, and her shoulders seemed to relax. Just incrementally.

“I like music,” she continued, “I do remember that it was a big factor in my life before…I came here.”

Her gaze turned far off for a moment, though he couldn’t see because of her blindfold. She vaguely remembered a woman’s voice singing softly to her. Her mother, perhaps? Music seemed to be embedded in her bones, even here. Between rounds, and even during them occasionally, she’d hum faintly to herself. Maybe to calm herself down, or to just get a little taste of home. Wherever it was.
