i know no one’s supposed to take karma too seriously because it’s a fun, cute song that’s dripping in dry humor and confidence but i’m kinda blown away by how smart the premise is? i feel like everyone expected it to be something dark and threatening, like ‘karmas gonna get you for what you did to me’ reputation energy, but her personifying karma and making it all these good things because she knows deep down she is a good person and is on karmas good side, while also saying ‘karma is a relaxing thought, aren’t you envious that for you it’s not’.. is such a interesting angle to take.
