For once I can't decide if I like the color or b&w better. Usually I prefer color.

This!
I've known this author for a number of years, but this was written before I had the pleasure to become friends. What they say is 100% spot on. Also I find them one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. Beauty to me is not only physical appearance but also their spirit, their character, their empathy and the list could go on...
SEX RANT/ SELF LOVE
I was at work last night feeling a little down on myself physically. I was having an ugly day. I started looking at all these women that came into the shop, all these porn stars online, all these beautiful women on Instagram and thought to myself, “these girls are so sexy, why can’t I be like them?” Well fuck me, straight after those self-deprecating thoughts I heard a little voice in my head scream back, “BECAUSE YOU AREN’T THEM.” That voice is right. I’m not them. I’ll never be them. I am me and although at times I may feel by society’s standards that I don’t exactly fit the bill for ‘pretty’ girls, that doesn’t mean I’m right. Ever heard the expression ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’? Well, it’s true. Beauty is subjective. What’s aesthetically pleasing to you could be ugly as sin to someone else. So, why the fuck do I continue to compare myself to these gorgeous women that just aren’t me? I’m not 5″7. I’m not blonde. I don’t have double D’s. I’m not tan. I’m a pale, scrawny little ginger bitch with itty bitty titties and a mouth a mother would smack. But that doesn’t mean I’m not beautiful. That doesn’t mean that I’m not EXACTLY what someone is looking for. It just means that I don’t fit into the media driven, generalized interpretation of ‘beautiful’. So, how do i get past these untrue and unflattering thoughts about myself? Do I change my appearance to adhere to this definition of beauty? Or do I tell it to go fuck itself with a 12 inch dildo? In this case, I choose the latter. Now I don’t know about you but I’ve spent far too much time self-loathing, wishing I were someone that I’m just never going to fucking be. Well instead of crying over shit I can’t change, I’m going to do something about it and change my own fucking mind. What is it about you specifically that people always seem to compliment you on? For me, it’s my hair and my booty. For you it could be something as simple as your smile or your laugh. Whatever it is, take it and run with it. Emphasize that shit. Affirm that shit. Make that shit your bitch! Then, find other things that you enjoy about yourself and affirm that. Then eventually, love every magnificent square inch of yourself. As Ted Geisel once said “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you!” So stop trying to be something you’re not and start being yourself. Practice self-love daily, in every form possible. You are a fucking Goddess and even the hottest elite supermodels in the world doubt their own beauty. Lots of them also have stretch marks, bad teeth and crap skin. And if it makes you feel better, there are probably millions of people in the world that masturbate to porn over women that look exactly like you because that’s their definition of beauty. Now if that’s not flattery, I don’t know what is.

Tumblr is quickly becoming interesting!
Hi, Tumblr. It’s Tumblr. We’re working on some things that we want to share with you.
AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.
Here are the important details:
We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner.
We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.
To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.
For instructions on how to opt out using the latest version of the app, please visit this Help Center doc.
Please note: If you’ve already chosen to discourage search crawling of your blog in your settings, we’ve automatically enabled the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.
If you have concerns, please read through the Help Center doc linked above and contact us via Support if you still have questions.
