Hello Everyone!

Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.

I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

Bisan Odwa (@wizard_bisan1 on instagram) has called for this strike. She is a journalist from Gaza, who has been experiencing this horrid violence for 15 weeks. 107 days. 2568 hours.

I want to lie down on my bed and have a sleepy boy flop down on me, burying their face in my chest as I ask them softly, "Do you want affection, love?" Having them nod as I smile softly, gently lifting their face and littering it with soft kisses. Kissing every one of my favorite features and looking down at them as they smile tiredly at me. "You should sleep now, baby." I kiss their forehead and let them rest their head on my chest again as I hum softly. Rubbing their back in soothing circles while I watch them sleep.

imagine waking up with one set of arms tangled around you as the other wakes to get ready for work, rolling back over to hold your partner. Coffee fills the air and you are set with the awareness that it’s probably time for you too to get ready for work. You gently untangled yourself trying not to wake your partner and give them a small kiss on the head before leaving bed. Upon entering the kitchen you are greeted with another kiss, as you set out to make tea and conquer your day.
