Lucille Ball in the 1943 film Du Barry Was a Lady. It was for this movie that her hair was dyed its famous red shade (“Tango Red”). Critics were quick to call her “Technicolor Tessie” as they raved that no actress had looked so beautiful in color.

Here’s the second part to my last post: the installations! The first one is so amazing and pretty and my absolute favorite. It was commissioned by @themintmuseum and over the years, all the flowers (that are actually brooches) will be given to the people who helped make it possible! The rest are some amazing costumes, an X-Files bracelet and a very cool piece made of wood 👍🏼👌🏼Pictures doesn’t do these any justice but I hope you get a feel for all the details and work poured into each picture!
