“oh, i was invited here by a friend. unfortunately, they’re nowhere to be found and i’m not acquainted with anyone else here, so this drink is my only company.” clyde wasn’t trying to invoke pity, but he was annoyed with some useless human inviting him out and ditching him. of course, none of that showed on his face since he had fixed his features into a sad expression.
✵ ── her arms cross against her chest, only to feel embarrassed for him. “my, that has to be the most saddest story i’ve heard today.” sarcasm fills her tone, only to shake her head jokingly. “kidding. but no really - that’s a dick move on having your so called friend invite you yet they aren’t here to keep you company. looks like someone needs some confrontation.” the loud background noises fill the air, only making it harder for gwen to speak. “you think we can share your drink together?”

“Gwen gwen! I found my family. And I told them all about you. They want to meet you. I haven’t met them yet. Only talked on the phone. Will you go with me?”
✵ ── her eyes are locked upon her small compact mirror as she applies her lipstick, only to focus her attention towards song. “oh my gosh, song! i’m... i’m so happy for you! yes of course i’ll go.” dropping her supplies to the side, her arms wrap around her brother. “wait - they... want to meet me? oh no - i can’t wear this!” her eyes focus on her dress, only to appear doubtful within this situation.

He shrugs. “I don’t know. But I identify as a villain kid. If they don’t agree with you I don’t agree with them. You’re my sister and I will never let that change” He hugs her tight. “Maybe we can go to the tower and find out some clues.”
✵ ── she couldn’t like, the thought of hesitation came to her head, having the fear of not being accepted. usually things like this wouldn’t matter to her, but this was involving her own brother. “i love you. we’ll always be family.” feeling his embrace felt safe - she needed more people in her life like song. “then i say let’s do it. we need to find your family. your real family.” a sigh escapes her lips, feeling nothing but heartbreak over her mother’s actions. “what... made you decide to tell me this now?”

Rhianon was handed a water bottle by one of her acolytes. The girl before her was strikingly beautiful, the kind of beautiful she saw in magazines and movies. “This is a religious ceremony,” She said tightly, “Fairy Godmother would have absolutely no right to stop it.” It was annoying to be approached by someone who knew nothing about her and then threatened. But the whole point of her being here was outreach. “I’m glad you enjoyed it,” she said, still not looking very happy with the other girl, “I am to be the High Priestess of Llyr, I’ve been doing this my whole life.”
✵ ── gwen shook her head and gave reassurance. “don’t worry, sweetheart. even if she came here i’d stop her.” everyone from the royal council was nothing but a groan and an eye roll - the royals meant nothing to her besides having a pretty crown on their head. giving a slight nod, the powers she had was beautiful - something that gwen wished she had. “wow, high priestess? well, it’s an honor to meet you finally.” she was... cute - magestic, even. There was something about her that gwen was so intrigued by, but she wasn’t sure what. it wouldn’t kill to tease a little princess now? “i’m gwendolyn gothel. it’s pleasure to meet someone who’s capable of such beauty.”

— Amelie turned towards the door, arms crossed as stared at the other person. “i wouldn’t say i walked into your life, it was more like i bumped into you and I tried really hard not to spill some of my water on you.” She said with a smirk.
✵ ── the feeling of wet, disgusting liquid filled the front of her designer dress made gwen’s hands clench up in irritation. nonetheless, she kept calm knowing it was just water and not some other drink. “it’s perfectly fine, no harm done. just try to avoid some other princess with any drink in hand. they’re quite the handful. not to mention annoying.”

𝐆𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐖𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐅.
gabriel preens under the touch, resembling the puppy he acts like in his wolf form. “hm, sounds like a true fairytale,” he muses with a small chuckle. the idea of pain and chaos is entertaining to him, he wants nothing less than a front row seat to see the beast and former king fall to his knees. “of course i’m your favorite.” he grinned, returning the smile. the snow was a beautiful sight and he was glad that his intense body temperature made it comfortable for both him and gwen.
✵ ── gwen had many favorite things about gabriel - way too many to count even. maybe because the fact he was basically a dog. then again - gwen would never consider her own best friend as a pet. “do you know who’s causing this undying winter?” it was no question that it had to be some villain - but it’s not like the raven-haired girl knew who it was. “having you here makes this weather more appealing, you know. probably because i’m not freezing to death.” she gives a chuckle, still guiding her hands along his hair in a soft motion. “you’ve always been my favorite. ever since we were little, annoying kids.”

It was a beautiful day, well…for January. But seeing as how it was mid June, she was beginning to get a little tired of the cold. What had happened at the summer festival? What had caused this? And when would it end? She had wanted to experience her first summer in Auradon city as a normal girl…or a normal princess, but that didn’t seem to be happening. She looked out the window and sipped her hot chocolate. “I can’t believe I’m getting tired of chocolate.” She grumbled to no one. “When will it be summer again?”
✵ ── frankly, gwen was getting tired of the winter; even herself complain about it. who was going to stop this eternal winter? it was as if arendelle took a stop to auradon, making it nothing but frozen. “you could say that louder for the king in the back.” the innocent princess was just as beautiful as everyone said she was; nothing but pure innocence. there was nothing wrong with messing around with royalty, right? “you can never get tired of chocolate. it’s the best thing next to wine. and money.” walking right next to her, she was caught off guard noticing all the beauty within the sweet princess. “how come you’re all alone out here?”

“Good. I love you Gwen and I never want to be without you. Who knows, maybe my family will be rich and we’ll get whatever we want. Because if they don’t accept you they’re no family of mine.” He hugs her. “Do you promise you won’t let her hurt us?”
✵ ── the raven-haired girl wraps her arms around her beloved brother tightly, there was nothing in the world that was going to separate them, not ever. “i love you, song. so much. i can’t bare to lose you once more.” it was hard to even say such words, knowing she had never expressed any emotion, especially fondness. she faces him once more, letting out a slight laugh at his comment. “do you think they’ll accept a kid... a villain... like me?” family meant everything to song, that was no question. but to gwen? the only thing mattered to her at this point was her brother. “i promise with all my heart. she won’t ever touch us. ever again.” her voice was stern, but yet inside she was agitated of her own mother.

“Terrible person? You? Hell no.” He nods. “She kidnapped me from my family, I don’t know if I’ll ever find my family but I don’t really want to because you’re my family.” He nods. “I was scared I would lose you as my sister. She kidnapped me when I was a baby like Rapunzel. She used my powers until we were sent to the isle and then she kind of threw me away. She would take care of me just in case we got off the isle so she could use me again, But I was locked up until you came. Then I was told to make sure you were okay. You’re my best friend you know? I adore you and I can’t lose you.”
✵ ── everything her brother said made her fall into a deep despair. gwen was so clueless and stuck up - she didn’t even realize what was happening during those times back in the isle. “we’ll always be family, song. let’s go find your real parents - okay? you deserve to know where you came from.” she places her hand over his and squeezes it tight, giving him the reassurance that she was always going to be here no matter what. the mention of the name of the lost princess made her choke up. she felt terrible for the way her own mother treated the poor child - but what could she do? “i can’t believe she would do this to you.. to us? you know... i always has this feeling she was using me too - not quite sure for what but it just feels like it.” no matter what - gwen would always love her mother and do anything for her, yet it seemed like she was ruining her life being under her power. “you’re my best friend too. i can’t lose you. i won’t let her hurt us. never again.”

“I tried to please my father but it’s not possible. He hates me. Is your mother still on the Isle?” She looks at her. “I thought my father wasn’t coming but he’s here and he ran into me It wasn’t pretty.” She grins. “I seem friendly don’t I?” She was hiding who she really was.She looks up. “Calista Jane. It’s a pretty name.”
✵ ── “i could say that towards my own mother. it’ll be okay, cj. as cheesy as it sounds - the only person to please is yourself. i’m not quite sure about that, i haven’t seen her around the beautiful green grasses of auradon. i did reunite with my brother though.” song was the only good thing to come out of the horrors of living with their mother. but, gwen always had the need to impress her, no matter if she hated her or not. “oh no, what happened? you’d think the isle could shut out some of the villains.” a scoff leaves under her breath, nodding her head in disgust. she loved mother gothel, but she wanted auradon to herself, that maybe she could have the chance to conquer the kingdom. “you’re friendly, but you’re also badass from the looks of it.” a smile appears upon her lips hearing the meaning of cj. it was times like this where she wished she wasn’t named gwendolyn. “that’s so beautiful. it fits you. how come you don’t go by it?”

“No you look gorgeous. I have to tell you. Ah.. this is hard. I have to tell you mother didn’t adopt me. She kidnapped me. She told me on the isle which is why i was barely there growing up. I have powers and she wanted to use them. Please don’t hate me please.”
✵ ── gwen gently takes his hands in hers and lets the two of the sit down more comfortably. this was the first ever serious talk they had and it was no question on how gwen wanted to handle it. “mother... kidnapped you?” it all sounded like a joke, but with the tone her brother was giving - it clearly wasn’t. her mouth dropped, knowing how much of bomb this was to her. she never assumed something like that happened behind closed doors - but now it was all clear. “no, no.” she shakes her head immediately. “i could never hate you, song. i may be a terrible person, but hating you is something i could never do. i just.. can’t believe she did that to you. how come you never told me this before? were you scared i was really going to be upset at you? or - shut you out? can you please tell me everything, please, song.”

His eyes light up with his sister, and then they falter when he thinks of his conversation with Mal. He smiles. “This is amazing. I love it.” He shakes his head. “Shut up you’re perfect. We’ll always be family forever, no matter what. Can I tell you something you don’t want to hear?”
✵ ── her hands go over her chest, feeling accomplished she did something right for once. the girl knew she only cared for herself at times, but having to finally reunite with song made gwen feel more loved. “you’re the best. this is the least i could do.” she gently touches the side of his face, and goes back to her bags about to show him what she got for herself; a typical gwen thing to do. “oh god - is it about what i’m wearing right now? i knew i shouldn’t have listened to that girl who sold me this outfit. what she wore was quite tacky and it was definitely not from dolce & gabbana.” here she was again, overreacting and not letting her own brother speak. “i’m sorry - it probably wasn’t even that. but yes, you can, song.”

𝐑𝐇𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍.
Rhianon spun around as small lights, like fireflies encircled her. Beneath her feet flowers sprung up, despite the snow. It had been hard to secure the part for her ritual, but the grand finale was worth it. The lights shot up and burst into little fireworks before her, they fell to the ground, and green blades of grass burst through the cold, followed by daisies. The newly formed plants were warm, like they’d been sitting in the sun all day. She stopped spinning and flourished before bowing, panting. If things had been normal, the entire park would be covered in daisies, as it was, using her own energy to sustain the ritual, she was quite happy with the small patch surrounding her and the clapping from her followers. “Thank you.” She said, curtseying again, “Thank you so much!”
✵ ── maybe it was the annoying sound and light that was coming outside that interrupted gwen’s daily nighttime ritual. frankly, she wasn’t in the mood to be distrupted at this time of day. going outside and finding the young girl spin made the girl’s eyes roll in annoyance, not understand what the whole purpose of this was. clapping along, she glanced at magic she had - maybe she had the chance to stop this snow. “impressive, it’s indeed beautiful what you did. for a second i thought of calling fairy godmother here to stop your little show, but i am most definitely impressed. how long have you been doing these... rituals?”

She blushes. “You think so? I am cute.” She smiles. “Well ever since we were able to leave the wretched isle. I left as soon as I could. You?” She smiles. “I’ve heard of you by the way. I didn’t know you were this lovely.”
✵ ── “this girl never tells a lie. honestly, me too. i needed to... spend some time away from my mother. it’s exhausting to always impress her. i needed to leave the isle as soon as i could.” her cheeks feel full from smiling, glancing down at the floor to hide her admiration. “you’re so sweet. i didn’t think anyone really knew me from the isle. oh trust me - i’m never this lovely to anyone. i gave you the exception because... you’re more friendly than most people i’ve met. and the fact that you’re charming. if you don’t mind me asking, what does cj stand for?”

𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐘 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐄.
Remy hadn’t been out since Oakley was born. She felt weird, her figure was different to her. But fuck it. She’d hired a babysitter for a few hours so she could go out and have adult interaction. She was walking confidently in her heels and short dress as she strolled up to the bar and ordered her drink. “Oh hello there.” She said to the person next to her.
✵ ── the bar was never a place where gwen spent her days at. even though she was a troublesome teenager, she never exceeded the act of underage drinking - but come on, it wasn’t like she was going to get caught, right? sipping on her drink, the figure next to her was immediately recognizable. “hey. didn’t expect you to be here.” adjusting her posture, she assumed that remy was busy with her new family. “how’s being the mother life going for you?”
