Smokepaw Survives And Falls For Leafpool

So, I did a little bit of rereading of TNP to get some memories back of it

And man did I forget some things that happened

but it was good to have the refresher for this

Instead of Russetfur, it's Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw who manage to make it to Smokepaw in time, the two sisters working together to drag the tom to safety He's in shock for a moment as they drag him over to Nightwing, who is fretting over him

He thanks Squirrelpaw for saving him again before looking to Leafpaw and thanking her, too

Squirrelpaw is telling him to get himself together if he's going to make it while Leafpaw is modest about the rescue

Leafpaw sticks with Smokepaw as Littlecloud helps him with the shock, Cinderpelt also there to help test Leafpaw's knowledge about how to help with shock

They make their way to the territory and while the cats are gone to divide territory, Smokepaw asks Leafpaw if she's really a medicine cat apprentice

She confirms

Smokepaw nods, taking in the information

He then asks her if she likes being a medicine cat and she explains that, for her, its the best feeling

She questions if he's considering being a medicine cat, and he answers that he isn't, but he's just curious

The two talk about little things [their lives, their family, and their favorite things] until it's time to ago

Before Leafpaw goes too far, however, Smokepaw hurries and asks if there's any chance he could talk to her again

Leafpaw agrees to meet to talk

The two end up meeting each other every several nights to just lay around and talk, finding comfort in each other's company

Smokepaw spends time grieving over Talonpaw and Nightwing after the two end up passing and Leafpaw is there for him

Leafpaw becomes Leafpool and she learns that meeting that Smokepaw earned his warrior name - Smokecloud

The two are very close to each other, though still platonic as they cuddle and talk about StarClan Leafpool is confused on why he wants to talk about their ancestors, but she answers his questions the best she can and he continues to think about things

The next time they meet, Smokecloud informs her that he's made a choice and she's very confused

She asks what he's talking about and he explains that he had been thinking about something for a very long time

She's certain he's thinking of becoming a medicine cat, but instead he asks her to become his mate

She's very surprised by this and her shock makes him feel like he asked at the wrong time and is in the middle of apologizing, not wanting to ruin their friendship But Leafpool interrupts and accepts

The two start seeing each other a little more frequently and almost get caught by a ShadowClan patrol at one point [thankfully they aren't, but Smokecloud is a little more careful]

At one point they are caught by Cinderpelt, who scolds the two of them and sends Smokecloud back home while having Leafpool follow her back to camp

Cinderpelt informs Leafpool that she won't tell, but that the young she-cat has to stop seeing him

She doesn't

Eventually the two run away and hide out in some woods north of the Clan territories

Neither of them are aware of anything going on in the Clans and they make themselves a little hidden home where no one can find them. Not even Midnight when she goes looking.

Cinderpelt does still end up passing away and Molekit ends up being trained by other medicine cats to be a medicine cat apprentice - Mothwing going between River and Thunder to help train him and Littlecloud and Barkface offering to help cats when she's not around to help.

Back north, Smokecloud and Leafpool become the proud parents of the Three, here named Haze, Talon, and Storm [Jay, Lion, and Holly respectively]

They live in the forest for quite a long time, raising their kits and teaching them how to fight and hunt and heal

When they encounter a rogue named Sol, Leafpool becomes nervous when he starts asking questions of groups of cats living in the area

Smokecloud eventually tells Sol to get lost and the kits are curious

They won't drop it so eventually the kits are told about how they were once from the Clans and how they left so they could be together and both are worried about their kin now

Leafpool is still fretting and Smokecloud eventually decides they're going to make sure the Clans are okay

They come back in time to learn what Sol is doing and come to help

Some cats aren't happy to see the runaways, but Leafpool's family is just glad to see she's alive and well Squirrel and Bramble have their own kits as well - Lightpaw and Firepaw - two she-cats who both take after their mother. Their mentors are Graystripe and Sorreltail.

Haze, Talon, and Storm meet their cousins and learn about Clan life. Haze and Storm end up wanting to stay in the Clans, but Talon decides to go back with his parents after Sol is dealt with. [also to note, Molepaw has become Moleheart]

Haze and Storm become Hazepaw and Stormpaw and are apprenticed to Mousewhisker and Brightheart respectively

Hazepaw and Stormpaw are the center of a lot of issues, especially once ShadowClan learns that they have ShadowClan blood while ThunderClan is still struggling to get their cats to fully accept the two as one of them, especially once Leafpool leaves again

Thanks to some threats from Blackstar, ThunderClan ends up letting the two decide who will go to ShadowClan.

In the end, Hazepaw goes.

He ends up trained under Blackstar himself and, at first, he is hostile towards the mostly white tom. However, the two end up getting along after Blackstar and Hazepaw talk, the leader telling him the story of Smokecloud and why he was determined to keep one of Smokecloud's kits in ShadowClan, despite not being kin

Hazepaw becomes Hazestrike and is the mentor of Tigerpaw Despite being young and Russetfur still being alive, it's clear that Haze is being trained to be the next leader of ShadowClan

Over in ThunderClan, Stormpaw has become Stormpool in honor of her mother and is working on the mystery of these strange targeted attacks on her aunt, Squirrelflight

She's rather close to her aunt and her cousins - who earn the names Lightclaw and Firesong, who are also helping

Firesong is close to finding the answer and ends up being led straight into danger by her suspect and ends up passing away

Lightclaw, Squirrelflight, and Brambleclaw are torn up at the loss

This sparks Stormpool's desire to find the cat sooner and what doesn't help is that older warrior, Ashfur, seems to be trying to get close to her despite her disinterest in him

And that's all I got so far

But I do have some notes

Ashfur isn't romantically interested in Storm. He just wants to be friends with her to get closer to Squirrelflight

It's Ashfur who's harassing Squilf and caused the death of Firesong btw

Haze does end up becoming ShadowClan's leader and yes he is blind Also his name is in honor of his father, who is Smoke

Three cats still have powers and those three are; Haze, Light, and Dove

Talon ends up flirting and messing around with Heathertail of WindClan and she ends up running away with him and becoming mother of his kits

Lightclaw ends up with Cinderheart and the two are childhood best friends to lovers

Leaf and Smoke never return to the Clans, but they visit often
