on march 12, 2023 solitaire announced through tv girl ─ a website online rumored to be operated by bulb house ─ that they would be debuting their newest girl group, moth to a flame. between march and april, the five members were introduced. rosebud, aisha, rory, juyeon and holy would be the final lineup to complete the victorian styled group.

kim chomi, also known as KC, served as the group's creative director until 2024 when she parted ways because of creative differences with the company. KC wanted to use of other concepts aside from the usual “ girlhood victorian traditional girl ”, but solitaire stamped a big no. on february 2nd a new creative director would assume, the so called “ ace of spades ”.

talking about popularity, moth to a flame has only known global reach with their song “ chill kill ”. apart from that, they never really made a big impact inside the kpop industry, creating solitaire’s first failed act.
