Chu-Teng (1995)
Chu-Teng [中天] is an unnerving point and click adventure game developed by OutSide Directors Company. It is the sequel of Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou.
Chu-Teng follows the story of Rin, who is appproached by the supernatural being, Nanshu, to help retrieve his facial parts that are scattered apart while he was fighting through the darkness in Ge-Teng.

ALL HAIL THE KING
EASTERN MIND JUMPSCARE. RAAAHHHH !!!!!
I like to think that King gyou is like, the BIG BIG BAD of Eastern Mind. It makes sense to me.
He's the King of Desires, the power that he holds is far more menacing than you think - he could easily manipulate the other three kings to betray Tougyou I think. And then he made them fight each other, thus leaving the throne to himself only I think. Endpoint: he ruled the world
That aside, I drew the eyes of the other three kings white! And the crown tied with white threads, that are connected to King's hands. Signifying that he has control of them haha.
Regardless, have some closeups:
King gyou is paired with an empty black image because he deserved that loneliness /silly - Okay not it's just for cropping.

Marinated Doodles: Eastern Mind Humanization edition
Second draft! and this one is more oriented towards my attempt of humanizing them, including the first time I drew Tou gyou humanized:
This had been posted on twitter a long time ago; I just haven't posted it now lol. This is the first time I tried drawing old people blindly (haha get it? I did't use any references, and Tougyou's main eyes are missing; therefore he's blind... Okay I'll stop myself there.)
Aside from that, I was wondering what my humanizations could have looked like if it's more "time accurate". IN other words, what they would have looked like if their clothes are adjusted to their time period:
I would say that I was exploring blindly in that doodle, as certain clothes and attributes may not be correct, so please don't take this one seriously.
I like to think that the four kings would have fancy attributes, while Tou gyou would be more humble / not as fancy as ther others, maybe. King gyou... would have been the one most open towards western influence (in my opinion), so his attribute is more mixed up.
Anywways, more of the other kings (and Sha, and Jin, for some reason)
Sha was originally going to have pointy nails, but I later completely forgot about it. oops
Moku gyou was the hardest for me to figure out what his human appearance would look like. Like I can see it directly for the other Kings, but Moku gyou was hard as hell for some reason... I DONT EVEN REMEMBER WHY
(btw, you may notice that the left doodle of Moku-gyou has the writing "Hassel insp?" - the ref that I used when I was trying to figure out his hair was a Pokemon character name Hassel LMAO)
Also I think it would be funny if Jin is like. bald LMAO.
NOTE: It's a mystery on what the lives of Rin's reincarnations were like before they lost their souls, but this is my jab on Jin lol.
Jin has the energy of a middle aged men who had succumbed to his greed and was reborn in Tongnou with such a pitiful life. He's the fool that believed wealthiness; symbolised with gold; was the solution to everything perhaps.... His greed for gold (and possibly lack of gratitude) heavily weighted down his karma and so he was reborn in Tongnou that way perhaps.... His dedication for gold was the reason why his reborn body was too weak for Rin's soul perhaps....
Though I will admit that this entire thing; I wrote this off of memory and I haven't looked back to his actual bio again. So I might have missed some stuff in there, my bad.
Rambling aside, have some digital ones.

Ladies and Gentlemen I have decided to post my recent doodles
Eastern Mind edition
Here we have the kings (and Rin) but drawn in an algebralien style for absolutely no reason!
Oh yeah for those who are wondering,
I am now a college student!
I decided to pick an Art Major, Visual Communication Design to be precise :D I am getting closer to become an illustrator in the future!
So yeah anyways I drew the guys in my campus whiteboard lmaooo (just Rin and King gyou but yeah)
And suddenly, Kai! It's so funny that by not drawing their design for so long, I ended up making a whole other design!
Eastern Mind is such a fascinating game which has probably the most of abomination like character designs of all time! But because of that, interpretation of a character's design can go wild! Wow I love this game so badly.
And finally, some random ahh art challenge in Twitter
(yes Twitter, what kind of man really changed the iconic name to *just* a letter of the alphabet? you can atleast make a whole new word instead of that smh)
Back to the art challenge, basically the premise is to draw you fav character's gijinka looking at the mirror in which the reflection is their original appearance, like in that episode of MLP or something lmaoo
I gotta draw more of the gijinka designs man
Anyways yeah! I still have more to post but I don't wish to spam em! So uhhh expect it in like a couple of hours or something
