"Ah.."

After the staring contest, Yoite found himself almost surprised with this creature's response. There was definitely something strange about the dog he held.. Something he couldn't figure out just by looking at it.

But..

That response and the fluffy fur was real enough to be convincing. The corner of his mouth even twitched slightly, as though he may have been about to smile. Such a thing wasn't likely but he did find himself a little.. Pleased. People were one thing but he didn't mind the company of animals so much. Even if they seemed rather strange.

Such bliss was short lived. Unfortunately for Yoite, with this weird dog came it's equally weird, if not weirder, owner of sorts. That was assuming that this guy had something to do with the dog Yoite held in his hands. An almost exaggerated sigh emitted from the Kira User as the man approached and he took a cautious step back as a silent notion that he didn't want the other any closer than he already was. He wouldn't run, no. He had no reason to run.. But being too close for comfort was an issue. 

".. What?" 

The distance between them wasn't too great so there was no reason to yell back either. He simply regarded the other with an indifferent stare as he waited for an answer.

Yoite had no real intention of simply abducting this dog. Really, he just wanted to hold it for a moment.. So if anything, Aoba may be overreacting already. What a dweeb.

Nightmares were something that tormented him from time to time.. Something he was used to except... He wasn't so used to waking up alone. Yukimi was always there when he woke up the way he had. Crying out. Frightened. Yet, the man put up with that.. And stayed awake with him until he managed to fall back asleep. This was one of those nights. And this time, Yukimi wasn't there.. As convenient as it was to have a room to himself this time around, Yoite wasn't used to it. As much as he disliked the company of too many people, he was never really alone, was he?

Someone was always there when he woke up.. 

And so, after he'd managed to calm himself down enough to actually move about, Yoite got dressed and left his room once more. Yukimi.. He wanted to find Yukimi. Navigating through the schoolgrounds hadn't been a problem before. He knew where to find that man due to the fact that he knew where he was housed but.. He wasn't there. Since their return, Yukimi's housing had changed and, due to his own frustration, Yoite wasn't entirely sure which room the other was currently residing in. 

Oops.

Having forgotten his cellphone in his own dorm, Yoite resorted to simply searching until he wore himself out. It was at this point that he ended up at another window. Sneaking was his specialty.. The dark suited him best, after all! Not that he took pride in such things. It was just due to whatever training he'd received that enabled him to do these things. "I am the night." That isn't IC, Yoite isn't Batman. 

Breaking and entering, that is. 

Whatever room he'd ended up in.. Roommates or not, he was too tired to notice anything like that. He simply took note of a bed that may have been empty and crawled into it, pulling the covers over himself in the process.

This place was as dull as ever. School life was never something he was suited for.. It was too crowded. Loud. And in the halls, other students often got a little too close for comfort. He'd never understand just what Yukimi was thinking by dragging him here... 

Yoite thought they'd gotten away from this place. In the end? They returned once more.

As annoying as it was, Yoite had been continuing as he had been. Today, he'd started with skipping the classes that Yukimi picked out for him, hiding in the library until he felt hungry and then? He was making his way to the cafeteria for lunch.. During this lunch hour he spotted something curious. This place was certainly strange but it wasn't often he spotted something like this... And while he could have simply maneuvered through the halls to find food, Yoite actually decided to go outside. Where it was bright and a little too warm for comfort. 

But it was worth it. 

Soon enough, he trailed after his target and gently.. Gently.. Bent over to pick it up even as it was trotting along after who one could only guess was it's master. Not that Yoite was paying attention to such a person. 

"Ah.."

Raising the dog-like thing, Yoite stood once more. "..." Dog. It was a dog, right? There was something strange about it though.. Turning the pomeranian around in his hands carefully, Yoite stared back into dark eyes.

.. Doge.
