July 25th.

That’s my birth date. Today is my birthday.

I never thought I’d be unhappy on my birthday, indifferent maybe, but not unhappy.

I didn’t think I’d have the mind to say this but here goes nothing.

This was going to be my last post, ever. For the past 8 months I kept on telling myself that I would end it today, that I was going to write an epistle as to why I can’t go on anymore, why I think it’s better to just end this vicious cycle of trying to change my life for the better but instead falling into old patterns and then beating myself up so badly I’d only fall deeper into the very things I wanted to change about myself in the first place. I‘m just so tired of feeling heavy all the time in my soul, mind and body. I’m just really really unhappy.

This post was meant to be way longer and filled with ‘rational and detailed reasons’ why just ending things would be the right thing to do at this point but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t find the exact words to describe why I am the way that I am and maybe it’s because I’m still very much a coward and looking deep inside my heart would hurt way too much. I still don’t know why I’m writing this but at this point I literally have nothing left to lose. All I can say is I truly hope I can make it to my birthday next year.

Cheating is bad.

Just watched the YouTube red series “Youth & Consequences” and I loved it in general. I really hope that they have a second season because there was one thing that had me annoyed, and that was the way they handled the Daddy cheating issue, specifically the way Stacey’s Mum (who cheated on her own husband with Farrah’s dad) responded to Farrah when Farrah was making a (very misguided) threat to her.

I am in no way supporting Farrah’s actions and I understand that it came from a hurt teenager who watched her family fall apart but ughh Stacey’s Mum just rubbed me off the wrong way. She never apologised for the hurt or pain that her actions caused Farrah’s family rather she tried to take the ‘high ground’. Her cheating (although it caused her own family some pain) didn’t tear her family apart like it did Farrah’s thus not fully letting her reap the consequences of her actions, in my opinion she literally ate her cake and had it.

The fact that she dismissed Farrah’s pain by telling Farrah that expressing her hurt towards her wouldn’t help Farrah heal emotionally really, really, really pissed me off!

To add salt to injury she came into Farrah’s family and gave a shoulder to Farrah’s mum knowing fully well that she was part of the reason Farrah’s parents weren’t still together. She then had the nerve to tell Farrah that Farrah couldn’t possibly fully grasp the depth of the situation because of her youth! No! Get thee behind me you wife of Potiphar! You don’t get to use that as a reason! I honestly hope that this series gets to come back because that is something, in my opinion, that needs to be fixed.

P.S. We need Farrah and Colin to fall in love like YEARSterday…. Lol get it?…No?… Not your type of pun joke huh?… ookay, yup gonna go now.
