We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Thanatos, the Greek God of Death. He is the Director at Bodhisattva Counseling
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Min Yoongi/Suga/Agust D
GOD NAME: Thanatos
PANTHEON: Greek
OCCUPATION: Director at Bodhisattva Counseling, Therapy and Psychiatric Center
HEIGHT: Indeterminate
WEIGHT: Indeterminate
DEFINING FEATURES: The scent of damp caves, driftwood, and decaying leaves; comforting presence but the space surrounding him is physically cold; abysmal dark eyes pierce into the soul; two large wings with black feathers upon his back.
PERSONALITY: Death is honest and hides nothing, painfully blunt at times, and fears no repercussions. The purest definition of chaotic neutral exists in his form. Though seemingly calm and collected on the outside, he is not particularly known for violent temper outbursts or emotionally-charged reactions as many of his divine brethren may be; this is not to say he is not capable of being mercurial and melodramatic, however, when something moves him deeply; however, such responses are exceedingly rare. Though by no means whimsical, he may be subject to his own whims at times and his inaction is more frightening than his involvement. He is absolutely and unequivocally fearless. Some may consider Thanatos to be somewhat aloof, others find him deeply compassionate and attentive. Fluent in sarcasm, he is known for his dry wit and sardonically dark humor. He is indiscriminate to a fault, only demonstrating the slightest bias when it comes to his family, particularly his twin brother’s progeny, and even then it seems extremely thin. Those who suffer deeply emotionally, physically, and mentally find his presence extraordinarily comforting compared to those who thoroughly enjoy life to its fullest. Though not usually one to partake in lively gatherings, he will attend if invited.
HISTORY: Triggers: Death. Literally.
As powerful as the gods of Olympus may have been, even they feared Nyx and her brood, specifically one of her eldest: Thanatos, the personification of Death itself, an entity that could bring the end of all things – not just themselves, but the entire universe. What was in their favor, however, was his unwillingness to do so, preferring the quiet solitude of his sleeping twin’s cave over the boisterous interactions of the Olympians. Thanatos respected life and creation, of course, but all life must end and he accepted his role in the continuous cycle as well as its ultimate end.
This was not to say, however, that he did not enjoy the company of the living. Though some felt chills at the sound of his wings, others found comfort in his presence, found peace in the cool breeze felt deep within their bones and their soul. He had heard all the bargaining, all the threats, all the pleading to be given more time, to be spared – but he also heard the gratitude. While their time may have ended, time meant nothing to Thanatos, so he would listen; he would just … pause the next step of their journey and listen, even to the most mundane stories, to the most scandalous confessions, secrets never revealed in life, regrets left in the wake.
Once, a cunning mortal king by the name of Sisyphus managed to “trick” Thanatos by binding him in the chains of Tartarus and while bound, death did not come for anything in all the realms. In reality, Thanatos only secretly pretended to be imprisoned, seizing the opportunity to “take a break” and see what would happen to the universe without him. But it was not long before anger sowed among the gods as no sacrifices could be made in their name; they did not demonstrate care or worry for the well being of Thanatos or the unholy imbalance his stagnance had caused, but were rather only focused on their own selfish whims. It was Ares, after growing frustrated with how boring his wars had become with no one dying on either side, who personally freed Thanatos from the chains, ending Death’s “holiday” and restoring order. Thanatos let Ares have that victory, never telling anyone his ruse.
Following this, however, Thanatos did allow for the deceased to challenge him at anything in exchange for one favor; he rarely lost, but even then, gaining a favor from Death Incarnate may not have always produced the desired results. He may or may not have lost on purpose. Recently, a young demigoddess passed suddenly and asked Thanatos about his challenge; instead of bargaining for more time, she requested he go to Mount Phoenix to guide the restless souls residing there. When he “lost”, he agreed to her terms, led her to the Elysian Fields for her selfless final act, and proceeded to this island of powerful misfits.
POWERS: Death’s Hand – The ability to kill anything, mortal or divine, at will without the need for physical contact.
Death’s Pause – The ability to stay his own hand and grant immortality, pausing their heart in the moment before its final beat.
Death’s Eyes – The ability to see the end of all things.
Death’s Shadow – The ability to travel anywhere on any plane of existence.
STRENGTHS: Silence. Patience. Intelligence. Truth. WEAKNESSES: His mother, his brother, and his progeny.

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Yejun Cho, a 25 year old son of Aphrodite. He the owner of Rose and Thorn stall in the Open Air Market
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Hwang Hyunjin/Stray Kids
CHARACTER NAME: Yejun Cho
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: March 20, 2000 (24 years old)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Jeju Island
OCCUPATION: Owner of the Rose and Thorn Art Stand in the Open Air Market.
HEIGHT: 5'10
WEIGHT: (optional)
DEFINING FEATURES: Beauty mark under his right eye, tattoo of a rose on his left forearm to symbolize his mother
PERSONALITY: Yejun is a soft-spoken, shy man at first glance. He is quite introverted, much to his mother's disapproval. You can often find him tucked away in his studio, working on a drawing or painting of some sort. Getting his charm from his mother, Yejun naturally attracts all types of people, but its incredibly difficult to form a relationship with him that is more than surface-level. He is inherently distrusting, scorned from a life of people viewing him only for his looks, or for favors from his goddess mother. Yet if you are lucky enough to dive below his surface, you'll find that his beauty is far from skin-deep.
HISTORY: Like many demigods, Yejun grew up with a less-than-ideal home life. His mother, Aphrodite, was often too busy tending to her godly duties and attending lavish parties to pay him much attention, aside from when she was scolding him for "not appreciating" his beauty. Yejun knew he was attractive, it was the first thing most people mentioned when they met him, but he'd always wanted more than that. His mother never understood why he hid the gifts she gave him beneath baggy clothes and choppy haircuts. His father was slightly more present in his life, but not by much. He, like many of Aphrodite's lovers, had not entered the relationship looking for a child. Aphrodite was the goddess of temptation, of lust, and his father was merely one of the dozens of men that fell into her clutches, only to be tossed aside shortly after. He attempted to care for Yejun for the first few years of his life, but quickly grew tired of the boy, and abandoned him, never to be heard from again. After that, Yejun was put into foster care, where he met his foster-dad, Heoksang, and his foster-brother, Sungjin. Sungjin was another demi-god, the son of Psyche, and the boys quickly became fast friends due to their shared experience as half-bloods. Sungjin became one of the first people Yejun knew he could fully trust, and he often leaned on the older male to help guide him through life. That was until Sungjin disappeared one day, leaving him in the same way his father had. At least Sungjin had left him a note - one that described all the reasons that he felt he needed to leave, but with no indication of how to find him. At first, Yejun felt nothing but despair, but as he got older, that despair turned to resentment. How could Sungjin not bring him along? He was deeply tempted to follow in his foster-brother's footsteps, but Heoksang was getting older, and he needed someone to care for him. Yejun did so without complaint, but he never stopped thinking about Sungjin and where he might be. It wasn't until Heoksang died peacefully several years later that Yejun allowed himself to leave. Now, at 24 years old, Yejun finds himself truly alone for the first time since his biological father left him. And where do all lonely demigods go when they have nowhere else to turn? Mount Phoenix.
PANTHEON: Greek
CHILD OF: Aphrodite
POWERS: Power of attraction, lust, and love - Yejun has little control over these powers, which is part of what makes him so distrusting. He never knows if someone likes him for him, or if they're simply under his spell.
STRENGTHS: Artistic, generous, kind
WEAKNESSES: Distrusting, can hold grudges, stubborn

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Ix Chel, the Mayan Goddess of Moon and Medicine. She is the City Coucil Member and Director of Obstetrics.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Kang Sora
GOD NAME: Ix Chel / Chak Chel
PANTHEON: Mayan
OCCUPATION: City Council Member and Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology
HEIGHT: 5FT 6IN | 168CM
WEIGHT: 110LBS | 50KG
DEFINING FEATURES: She has a soft, delicate face, matching her features which gives her an almost ethereal look. Despite her dainty features, she has very expressive eyes and full lips. She has long, dark hair which she keeps naturally straight. She has a graceful and petite physique, but her slender frame makes her look a bit taller. She carries herself with elegance and grace.
PERSONALITY:
Ix Chel is still a benevolent goddess, but she still carries the malevolence that she's born with that had grown from her experiences. While she refuses to forgive those that wronged her when she had been much younger, she carries those memories as reminders and will not refuse to air them out if she feels like it.
She carries a sense of regality within her when around strangers, but she's softer to those within her pantheon and those that make an effort to get to know her. Her maternal instincts almost always prevail, especially to those in need.
HISTORY:
Life and death; two faces of the same coin that is mortality. Ix Chel had been familiar with both, extremely so with the roles cast upon her. She's a benevolent goddess, but she's also a destroyer and a punisher.
Balance and duality had been common among Mayan beliefs, and that is also mirrored within her duties to the world and her charges. She's the portrayal of motherhood, fertility, bounty, and wellness, but on the other hand, in her shadows lurk diseases, curses, and even death. While she could provide blessings of fertility, healing of both the mind and body, and ease of childbirth, she's also no stranger to bestowing diseases and curses upon those who enrage and disrespect her.
Ix Chel, as a young woman, had always been independent and headstrong, which made her father, Hunab Ku, keep her locked away from the world. However, while he'd been away, she escaped and eloped with the Sun God, which in turn, angered her father immensely. This led to her death after Hunab Ku hurled bolts of lightning at her. Dragonflies swarmed around her body, mourning and singing to her. Their song and the buzz of their wings after some time brought her back to life, and she returned to the home of the Sun God after her resurrection.
However, much like her father, the Sun God did not like the fact that she doesn't obey him at every word or whim, and began beating and mistreating her. This urged her to run away with the God of the Morning Star. Unfortunately, because he had been worried about her lack of obedience, he planned to lock her up like her father did, so, again, she ran away. This time, with the God of the Vultures.
It was only a matter of time before the Sun God got hold of her whereabouts. So, he hunted down a deer, wore its dead corpse, and trapped a vulture to bring him to the home of the God of the Vultures. Upon his arrival, they immediately got into a very horrific fight, which still ended with the Sun God's victory. He returned home with Ix Chel in tow.
Ix Chel's time with him was brief as she grew tired of his jealous rage and fits. She escaped with her pet rabbit after the Sun God took away her brilliant colors, leaving her with only the pale moonlight, which she used to her advantage. She hid herself in the moon and the dark nights away from the Sun God.
Despite everything she had to go through, she still bore children out of these unions, one of the well known ones being the Bacabs.
As time passed, she went on to hide herself among her charges, posing as curanderas and midwives. Curiosity had led her to live among them and find out more about them. Later on, she moved on from the locality of her worship, the Yucatan Peninsula, and began traveling the rest of the world. She went on to learn the way of mortals to blend in better, and eventually moved from one place to another, taking on various forms while she expanded her knowledge as the modern age came.
Later on, she returned her focus to her maternal invocation, and kept a focus on obstetrics and gynecology. It didn't take long before she was able to meet those that are like her, deities hiding or blending in amongst mortals while she had been in Southeast Asia. This is how she learned and heard of Mount Phoenix, and here, she took on the mantle of the Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a seat at the council, hoping that no one would have to experience what she had gone through at the hands of her father and string of lovers and caring for those that require not just her guidance and assistance within her pantheon, but also those who are not within her charge if they ask or choose.
POWERS:
Flesh Weaver - She can heal by literally weaving flesh back together through magical means
Blight Bringer - She can also bring about diseases and curses through her role as a punisher
Maternal Blessing - She can give a blessing of fertility and ease of childbirth for those who ask for it
Rain's Benevolence and Destruction - Much like how she could bring life and death through medical means, she's also able to bring blessed rain for harvests or release torrests of floods when enraged as punishment
STRENGTHS: compassionate, instinctive, empathic, caring, organized, charismatic
WEAKNESSES: overprotective, mistrust of others, inability to forgive easily, cunning, destructive

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Oscar Aldea, a 23 year old son of Xbalanque. He is a Line Cook at Honeypot and Literature Student at MPU
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Wang Xingyue/Actor
CHARACTER NAME: Oscar Aldea
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 23/5 March 2002
PLACE OF BIRTH: Brasov, Romania
OCCUPATION: Line cook at Honeypot/Literature student at MPU
HEIGHT: 6’0”
DEFINING FEATURES: Crescent moon birthmark on his left trapezius, deep scar lower right abdomen measuring three inches long and half an inch wide, large and long scar along his right deltoid, three deep “claw-like” gashes horizontally across his lower back, charcoal stains on his fingers and hands from drawing.
PERSONALITY: Oscar is still very much trying to figure out who he is after a lifetime of being told what to do. There is a somewhat contingent relationship with authority figures – he may follow instructions blindly or adamantly refuse an order depending on the situation. Cooking is therapeutic and he adapted culinary skills flawlessly just as he mimics fighting styles. He finds escape through reading and can often be found in libraries and quiet corners with a book. Not one to be the center of attention, he wears all black and sticks to the sidelines, out of the limelight. He tends to collect seemingly mundane objects from a location as souvenirs. He has an innate talent for utilizing literally anything into a weapon. Because of his prior profession and frequent travels, he speaks multiple languages but, despite his charismatic aura, is not much of a conversationalist; in fact, he’s quite introverted and struggles with public speaking which some may interpret as “endearing”. When he does speak, his statements are usually short and spoken with a dry (sometimes sarcastic) tone, often getting straight to the point. Though not a fan of chatterboxes, he will listen if the topic (or the person speaking) interests him enough. Despite his somewhat isolated nature, he does not hesitate to fight against unjust treatment. Though level-headed in even the most stressful of situations, it is unwise to test his temper due to likely violent (or deadly) results.
HISTORY: Triggers: Maternal death, murder, kidnapping, exploitation of a minor
His tale is not a pleasant one; few stories regarding demigods are. His parentage was not a secret – at least, not to those obsessed with power, with stalking children born of the divine. A child was born without a name. Though his mother had the potential to survive the birth, his captors ensured she did not, because leaving a witness behind was messy; even a crazy woman searching for her lost child that may or may not exist brought more attention than was comfortable. Professionals made her disappear completely.
The baby was raised to become a professional, too. Trained to be a killer at such a young age, no one would expect their end to come at the hands of a child.
Clever and resourceful, the boy proved himself exceptional even as a toddler with using everyday items as weapons – be it a rattle, a spoon, a stick – that when he graduated to using “real” weapons, it came as easily as breathing. Under the tutelage of multiple martial arts masters, the child demonstrated phenomenal talent with a variety of fighting styles. His presence brought with it a pleasant aura, making him seem approachable by even the most standoffish of strangers – even when the child himself wanted to be left alone.
No one knew his name, no one knew his face, but they knew his work – fast, efficient, DEADLY – rumors began to refer to him as the Phantom; he was silent, quick, powerful, frightening, and left no trace. Those who claimed to have survived an attack by the Phantom were immediately ostracized for their blatant lies because no, the Phantom did not leave witnesses either. Only bodies. Because phantoms only kept company with the dead.
But the Phantom had always felt as though something was off, something deep down within his soul fighting against all the killing, something in his nature adamantly adverse to these assassinations. On one mission to kill an undercover cop, the feeling was so strong that it actually made him hesitate – the officer seemed to be good person who wanted to protect others, but because the Phantom’s organization saw him as a threat to their operation, he had to be eliminated. The pause created by the inner conflict was enough for the cop to get the upper hand and knock out his attacker. The officer, unwilling to blow his cover, did not report the Phantom and instead kept him captive for several days, trying time and time again to convince this assassin to give up the life, to escape and move on, to find something he enjoyed because clearly, the Phantom was having second thoughts regarding his career. Perhaps, if the cop hadn’t held him prisoner, if he hadn’t started to express romantic feelings toward his captive, the Phantom would have ultimately spared his life, but he did not. Once the man had let his guard down, the assassin finished the job by snapping his neck and burning the entire building to the ground. No witnesses, no evidence, no trace.
But the lectures he had received did linger in his mind and the Phantom did not return to his organization; instead, he wandered the world in search of himself. He discovered a love for books, found cooking therapeutic, and secretly used his fighting skills for a bit of vigilantism, remaining under the radar as best he could. But the organization was still out there, looking for him, so the Phantom remained on the move.
Until one morning he received a mysterious phone call, someone claiming to know who he truly was, telling him of a safe haven for people like him. Though there was always a possibility that this was a trap, it was at least worth an investigation of his own. There, the organization could not touch him and he could start a new life. He even gave himself a name, a name inspired by one of the greatest heroes of modern history, Oskar Schindler. But … who was Oscar Aldea, exactly? Perhaps someday he would find out.
PANTHEON: Mayan
CHILD OF: Xbalanque
POWERS: Weapons Proficiency – instantaneous mastery of a variety of objects to incapacitate or kill an opponent
Adoptive Muscle Memory – able to observe fighting styles and mimic perfectly, making him exceptionally skilled in multiple martial arts
Charismatic Aura – a very likeable presence that attracts trust and loyalty from others, even strangers
STRENGTHS: Clever, resourceful, brave, charismatic, quiet spaces
WEAKNESSES: Public speaking, trusting others, flaky, standoffish, authority figures

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Eris, the Greek Goddess of Strife and Discord. She is the Curator of Phoenix Library & Museum.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Sunmi/Wonder Girls
GOD NAME: Eris/Discordia
PANTHEON: Greek
OCCUPATION: Madame Curator of the Phoenix Library & Museum and Professor of Archeology at Phoenix University
Vessel Height: 5ft.5inch/167cm
Goddess Form: Immeasurable and vast
WEIGHT: Want to die?
DEFINING FEATURES: The goddess is utterly smooth and perfectly, dotted only with the sprinkling of beauty marks that fall down her back in the oddly same shape as the constellation Aries and only scar marking on her left inner wrist of a line with what seems to be two crescent moons on either side of it.
PERSONALITY: Known for her mischievous and often malice attitude, Eris is a trickster goddess who delights in nothing more than causing and aiding in Chaos. Her temper remains remarkably even keel, seemingly always at ease with things around her even when they don’t, on the surface, seem to be going her way. Whether it’s because she has some scheme up her sleeve or because she truly doesn’t care until she plans to ruin something is the real question. Deceptive inquisitive she gathers information and will sit on it for long stretches of time until she can harness it for personal gain. Cunning and wholly manipulative to her core, Eris finds joy that borders on rapturous zeal when she can take things that are beautiful and destroy them. Nothing and no one is sacred to her and at a whim she can shift like a tide to snuff out things and people that stand in the way of her malevolent folly.
HISTORY: She had always been. That much is clear. Oh the humans had tried to pin down her story, make it smaller and more easy to understand, but they had failed. There were just too many holes in their myths to make sense. Eris had always been— before the first breath of the first mortal. Before the Olympians as the mortals knew them to be, she had been. Before even the first stars took their heat from the first spark of light, She had been. Nestled in the living Dark she was curled beside the Other. The pair of them had been wrapped together in that same impenetrable Dark, Him the tenderness that was spun from the very first moment of the vast ether, and Her the chaos that would follow if He was let loose. They had been, locked together in the endless loop of creation before man could fathom it all. She had been the whisper in the cosmos that ripped it’s fabric asunder with a question of, “Why not me?” She was the same defiance that took a third of the stars from the celestial realm and cast them down. Her influence had been the one that brought about the first strike against the first head, the first shaping of Hate even in the lions of deities. Eris had seen the shape of her own brother be formed and rejoiced as he slipped into existence and together had raged war and famine and anger upon gods and humans and beasts alike. Eris had grown the first fruit of deceit and hand fed it to the lips of the first failure of another god and saw that what She had done was good- for her. She took heathens and elevated them to the ranks of soldiers, kings, lawyers, warriors and politicians and even made the fairest of her kind engage in skirmishes the likes of which caused global disaster. And she did it easy! Eris had always been, and always would be. But as the world grew colder, and man grew crueler on their own, She sought rest in the swirling pool of Darkness again. Only as She peered into it, Eris saw that it was empty of her other half. He had slipped out of the pool and swept His way into the hearts of man just as She had. And Eris looked at this, and saw that it was not good. And that She could not make peace with. So, though She was tired and the word was Her mess made, She took to looking for Him. And He, along with her brother Ares, were hiding among them. Eris had always been- cunning. And with the same question that She had whispered to Kings and Beggers alike, she looked upon the island and asked, “Why not me?”
POWERS:
Kallisti; can cause conflict with the wave of her left hand and the mention of the word. This rebellion will last a few short hours but be long enough for real damage to be done by those who feel it.
Confusion; Eris has the ability to cause confusion in people if she is able to trick them into letting her write their name in her journal. If she manages to trick them into doing it, she can tap their name at any time and confuse the person for up to an hour.
Discordia; Eris can scramble her appearance for short stints of time to make herself look like people other’s know and manipulate them this way. She can and often does use this skill for entirely nefarious reasons to trick her family especially.
Lesser Keys of Magic: able to shift like smoke in and out of places, can entirely disappear/appear in dark spaces, particularly good at stealing things (this can be good and bad).
STRENGTHS: Highly intelligent, brave, great at strategically outwitting others, has a head for business.
WEAKNESSES: Highly manipulative, known to hold grudges, never answers her phone.

Alexander Garin, a 35 year old son of Hundun. He is a Manager at Galaxy Games.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Lee Gikwang/Highlight
CHARACTER NAME: Alexander “Sanya” Garin
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 30th March 1990 (35)
PLACE OF BIRTH: Arsenyev, Primorsky Krai, Russia
OCCUPATION: Manager at Galaxy Games, Bowling Alley and Arcade
DEFINING FEATURES: A stitch mark at the nape of his neck; several tattoos scattered everywhere—some looking much more professional than others,
PERSONALITY: Alex—also often endearingly called ‘Sanya’, ‘Sasha’ or ‘Shurik’ by his siblings—is chaotic by nature and good-natured despite his upbringing. Considered to be the mood maker of his family, he feels happiest when he gets to cheer people up. He is loud, outgoing and typically the life of the party. Though, due to his naive nature, he tends to be rather clueless when it comes to reading the room, which has gotten him into rather precarious situations.
HISTORY: Alexander didn't know much about his biological mother — and at some point, he'd stopped caring to find out.
The orphanage had given him only fragments: a young woman from old money, wealthy enough to raise him but unwilling to sacrifice her freedom or reüitatopm fpr a bastard child.
A shame, really.
But Alexander felt no guilt cutting her from his thoughts. Even his anger over what might have been faded quickly, thanks in no small part to his adoptive siblings.
At least he had them. Nine of them, to be exact.
Their adoptive guardians did everything in their power to make their lives miserable, yet Sanya found solace in his four brothers and five sisters. Maybe he was naive — his head too far up in the clouds to fully resent their circumstances. Or maybe he clung to the faintest hope of a better future for all of them, when everyone else in his family gave up on such foolish dreams.
He'd watched his older brothers return bloody from forced labor, tried to distract his younger siblings from shouts of agony during any kind of punishment, had stitched up his younger brother's wounds–wounds inflicted by the very people meant to protect them.
On sleepless nights, he'd hear his sister's muffled sobs, their whispered reassurance as the threat of being married off in exchange for livestock or grain loomed over them.
Of course he didn't like living there. None of them did. But they had each other — something no parent, teacher, or villager could ever take from them.
At least he thought so. Until one of them did.
Despite the cruelty they'd endured, nothing could have prepared them for this. In his late teens, ten became nine.
Yulia was taken.
Then there were nine.
A new kind of chaos awoke in him — not the familiar, simmering resentment, but something wilder, hungrier. He found fleeting peace only in disorder, in the whirlwind of raucous house parties and stolen nights sneaking into town. If he could drown out the silence, maybe he could still find it in him to make his siblings laugh.
The month before their parents died was the most alive he'd ever felt. The house was in disarray, their guardians restless, sleepless — as if some unseen force gnawed at them. Alex didn't know the cause then, but something in his gut whispered it would be fatal.
Lucky for them, it was.
He was the first to learn the truth behind their deaths: Maxim, barely an adult at that time, had become a silent murderer.
Then there were eight.
If the chaos of their parents’ decline had been invigorating, the quiet after Maxim's departure was suffocating. Sanya moved through days like a ghost, his usual energy flaring and dying in erratic bursts. He chased adrenaline whenever he could find it — parties, reckless dares, anything to fill the hollow space in his chest.
Then, one night, the boredom itself became unbearable.
Pacing in his parents’ abandoned room, he unwittingly summoned something he didn't understand yet. Bedsheets twisted on their own, slithering off the mattress. A lone sock crept from beneath the nightstand. The ceiling lamp swung violently, though no wind touched it. For a dazed moment, he wondered if the house was haunted – or if he'd lost his mind.
But the next day, when he willed a shovel to move — and it obeyed — he knew.
This was his doing.
The realization burned through him: he needed to learn more. And if Maxim's calls back home were any indication, there was a place where he might just be able to do that. After settling affairs with his siblings, Alexander made his choice. He would follow his hunger for chaos to its source.
He would go to Mount Phoenix.
And so, he left.
Then there were seven.
PANTHEON: Chinese
CHILD OF: Hundun
POWERS: Alex feels energized and empowered in chaos—or more specifically, chaotic situations. Although he never noticed, but he can and already did instill distrust in others. He did, however, notice that he can animate inanimate objects for a short period of time.
STRENGTHS: charismatic, easy-going and a fast learner WEAKNESSES: petty, naive and holds grudges forever

DEFINING FEATURES: Usually has dirt under her nails and a few smudges here and there, wears an apron and clogs nearly everywhere, smells like roses and herbs, fresh flowers tucked in her hair, unintentionally wearing cat hair wherever she goes because who has time to use a lint roller every second of every day?
PERSONALITY: If Cottage Core was a person, it would be Su. The very embodiment of a country bumpkin, Su is definitely not a city girl by any stretch; she prefers the quiet of her farm and the company of her plants, a strong advocate for the simple life, well versed in ancient agricultural practices of the homestead, familiar with living “off the grid”. A deeply compassionate woman, “have you eaten?” is one of the first things she will say upon meeting someone. She firmly believes in feeding the body and the soul, often giving away produce to those who cannot afford to buy food for themselves or family, unable to tolerate the knowledge of someone going hungry. She carries a sachet of seeds in her pocket, ready to grow an assortment of things on the spot! She believes that fresh flowers brighten the spirit. Definitely not a fashionista, she believes that clothes are for comfort and practicality. Cats are a NECESSITY and she has several wandering around her home and farm. Taking in strays doesn’t just apply to felines, however, as she gives off mad mom-friend energy and is definitely a girl’s girl.
HISTORY: Triggers: Stroke, familial death, stalking.
Found in the hills of Wumagou Village by an elderly couple while plowing their fields, Mr. and Mrs. Xin were unsure how they would care for an infant, especially with how much their village had been struggling to produce crops. However, within the first couple weeks of taking in this strange but beautiful baby girl, they noticed how well their crops took to the soil which seemed to be richer with nutrients than they had thought. She laughed when being carried around on their backs or chests while they worked, earning her the name Suyin due to the purity of the sound. The moment she was old enough to walk, she joined them in the gardens and fields, becoming their good luck charm; she would “bless” the crops before and after school each day and their small farming community prospered and she addressed Mr. and Mrs. Xin as her grandparents.
When the rains of monsoon season threatened to drown their crops, Su hoped for sunshine and … each time she did this, it actually worked! Even on overcast days, if she just hoped for sun, the clouds would part and the day became brighter.
One year, when their neighbor’s crops were failing, she paid them a visit and said their plants just needed good motivation, to remind the plants how loved and appreciated they were – because love was also a necessity, not just food and water and sunlight. They were surprised to witness the wilted crops suddenly rejuvenate and grow before their eyes. Su became the “blessing” of their small village, beloved by her neighbors, though they kept her a closely-kept secret out of worry someone might come and take her away from their community that would surely return to struggling without her.
When Su was in middle school, her grandfather passed away suddenly from a stroke. Though he left the farm to both his wife and Su, Su was concerned that her elderly grandmother would have difficulty maintaining the farm on her own so Su dropped out of school to work full time at the farm. Due to her region having little access to electricity and even less to the internet, she learned ancient cultural practices from local experts in the crafts and skills – how to weave baskets from bamboo, fish, raise silkworms and dye threads, how to make salt and construct furniture by hand.
When one of her childhood friends returned from Beijing, he saw what Su was doing and suggested she start posting videos of her farming and craft projects to the internet. Not knowing much about technology, she agreed to it, being the writer and star while he produced, edited, and uploaded the videos under the handle “Sunny Cat” due to her cheerful personality and love of felines, often featuring one of her many kitty roommates. She became very knowledgeable in how to live a sustainable life and, to assist her neighbors, used a significant portion of her proceeds to install solar panels throughout the village, providing a safe electricity alternative to make their lives easier – particularly the life of her grandmother, who had become increasingly infirm near the end of her life.
After her grandmother passed away, Su was devastated and took time away from social media to focus just on the farm and feeding the community. Her audience was concerned, as was her partner, but Su just wanted to tend to her plants and her cats. After a few years, she was feeling nostalgic and logged on to her old account to discover thousands of messages from fans who missed her and wished her well. Feeling touched, she contacted her old partner and they filmed a handful of videos teaching a few old and sustainable techniques, but after uploading the content, she began receiving mysterious emails about how she needed to leave, that someone knew who she really was and they were coming for her.
It was through these messages that she learned of her mother’s true identity and of the existence of Mount Phoenix. At first, she did not believe them, but when odd things began happening around the farm – purposeful destruction of crops, the cats being overly protective, unfamiliar footprints outside her home, threatening notes left on her pillow at the end of the day – she finally arranged to relocate to the island, leaving the Xin farm under the care of the newlywed son of her neighbors to give him a fresh start while she and her cats took their own.

Konohanasakuya-hime, the Japanese Goddess of Volcanoes She is a Maid at Sakura and City Council Member.
FC NAME/GROUP: Satomi Ishihara GOD NAME: Konohanasakuya-hime PANTHEON: Japanese OCCUPATION: Maid at Sakura and City Council Member HEIGHT: 157 cm WEIGHT: 45 KG DEFINING FEATURES: The lingering smell of cherry blossom as petals trail and float behind her. Flowers always decorating her hair, woven into her bun or sitting atop her head in a crown.
PERSONALITY: Soft yet charming, Sakuya’s soul mirrors her flowers in their beauty. Most importantly, she is a mother, loving in all compacities. Her children know of their mother in more than name, and she dedicates her life to being there for them whenever they speak her name. She appears to many other gods and goddesses as fragile, but the goddess commands volcanoes and mountains. Behind her softened features rests a goddess filled with unmovable resolve and a fiery heart. Sakuya goes to great lengths to protect her name and those of her children. Honor matters immensely to her, despite the fact that her most noble acts seldom are recognized.
HISTORY: Konohanasakuya-hime was a sweet goddess known for her beauty. Always lingering at the base of her beloved Mount Fuji, it would not take long for her dainty appearance to win the heart of another god. Ninigi traded his immortality for her hand, but their relationship had no bliss, filled with turmoil and anger. He doubted her fidelity and love, and for that, he was made fool in a fiery blaze of truth.
When her husband passed, Sakuya found a new sense of freedom that had been stolen from her. The goddesses dedicated her life to her ever growing collection of children and the people of her nation. She protected her devotees from fire, healed towns of disease, and she painted the landscape of Japan in the softest pink cherry blossoms. Every inch of her land was touched by her never ceasing love.
Sakuya, though settled happily on her island, started to feel a bit of unease. Discomfort settled in her chest, and she felt the pull to return back to Mount Phoenix. She had seen the whispers of distress the last time, and it had bothered her since she had been home. So, with her family safe and in good hands, she decided that it was time to return back to the island to give others the chance to find the happiness she had worked hard for her kids.
POWERS:
Flower and Tree Manipulation: Sakuya has the ability to grow flowers, flower petals, and flowery trees out of thin air. She has the ability to make them move and to bring them back to life, having a healing power to plants and ensuring their vitality. Fire Resistance: As the goddess of volcanoes, the touch of fire and lava do not harm the goddess, though extreme heat can make her uncomfortable. STRENGTHS: Compassionate, Charming, Affectionate WEAKNESSES: Emotional, Overly caring, Stubborn

Min Sara, a 30 year old daughter of Morrigan. She is a Professor of Sculpture at Phoenix University.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: kim jisoo / blackpink
CHARACTER NAME: min sara
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 30 / january 3 1995
PLACE OF BIRTH: dublin, ireland
OCCUPATION: professor of sculpture at phoenix university
HEIGHT: 160cm / 5’2”
WEIGHT: n/a
DEFINING FEATURES: heart-shaped lips, hair always tied up either on a bun or on a ponytail.
PERSONALITY: considering how much sara tries to distance herself from her divine parent, it isn’t surprised that her personality doesn’t reflect the goddess of war that is her mother. not only she’s soften spoken and has a reserved, almost shy, demeanor — not exactly what someone would expect of the daughter of a warrior —, she also is always trying to avoid any sort of conflict either physical or verbal. she isn’t necessarily gullible, but ends up agreeing with things without meaning it or yielding even if she shouldn’t as long as this means that a conflict will be avoided. she’s a gentle type of person, handling the world and people around her with certain tenderness, as if always afraid that anything more would break it. despite her strong desire to fit in (and to some degree to belong somewhere as well) and to be a person friendly to everyone, sara isn’t good with crowded spaces or situations where she needs to put her social skills in use for too long. she’s prone to overthinking her actions and is always tense, always putting a performance so she ends up always being hyper aware of her actions and words, even developing a mild social anxiety.
HISTORY: tw: bullying
I – the age gap between you and your sibling closest to your age is almost 10 years.
your siblings call you the oops baby when they want to be kind and the afterthought when they want to be a little meaner. Being either oops baby or an afterthought, it doesn’t stop dad and mom from loving and spoiling you rotten anyway so even if they don’t seem as happy with their own marriage. even if you can sometimes eavesdrop their fights because of how loud they can get when they argue, you don’t quite understand what they’re fighting about— you only know that it’s your fault because your siblings tell you that it is and that idea is only fed when mom doesn’t seem to quite know how to look at you for a few moments after the arguments and dad locks himself away in his studio for as long if not longer.
but then the moment passes and mom goes back to making your favorite breakfast in the morning, making sure that your lunch is packed properly and that you aren’t forgetting. but then the moment passes and your dad allows you back in his studio, accepting your help to make his art and praising you for even the smallest things that you do.
Ii – you swear it’s an accident, that you never meant to grab him that hard.
you don’t realize that you’re stronger than your siblings — than most people — until you end up with pulling one of your older brothers too hard and ends up dislocating his shoulder because you wanted them to move out of the way so they wouldn’t get bump into another brother that tripped on the carpet. dad becomes weirdly tense for a moment when he learns what happens and mom sends a pointed look to her husband that is hard to miss before catering to her hurt son.
you cry your apologies and even though mom and dad reassure you that they understand it was an accident and for you to be careful next time, your siblings aren’t as forgiven and you go from afterthought to monster.
it doesn’t help that not long after that there are more incidents of you handling things a little too roughly even if you didn’t mean to and they end up breaking because of it. there’s another time that you end up breaking one of your siblings’ wrists because they wouldn’t let go of your plushie with the argument that you were too old to still have such a thing. you bruise their skin with accident touches that you stop reaching out for them even before they start avoiding you.
Iii – you start getting treated like a monster in school too.
it starts because a boy you barely pay attention to was paired with you by the teacher for a duo assignment.
it starts with mean notes about you left on your desk and written on the classroom board, suddenly your books that you borrowed to someone is returned ruined. it starts with whispers raising in wherever room you decide to step in and then snickers echoing behind your back, only silenced when the boy enters the room as well. it starts with your lunch always been thrown on the ground or ruined in some way during lunch time or people refusing to let you sit with them. it starts with you being cornered one day by a group of girls that say they have a problem with you, but it’s a problem that they created on their had and you have no idea what they’re talking about.
it ends with a baseball bat almost swung at your head and punches thrown your way. it ends with four girls laying with the ground with broken ribs and split lips. it ends with your hands stained with blood that isn’t yours. it ends with a scream for a teacher and with you in the bathroom stall, trying to not hyperventilate. it ends with a little black bird under layers of clothes bundled on the floor.
it ends with no more mean messages left on your desk or on the classroom board, no more ruined returned books especially because no one asks you to lend them anything. it ends with whispers behind your back whenever you pass by, but are completely silenced when you take your seat in class.
Iv – you survive art school by almost solemnly survival mode, an endless state of flight or fight (or fawn; you mostly fawn).
you make a very proactive effort of looking as harmless as you can; the thought of gentle, gentle, gentle in repeat in your mind even in the smallest of the interactions with either people or objects. you make a very proactive effort of being the friendly and agreeable freshman and then the kind and fun sophomore, the caring and supportive junior and the put together and thoughtful senior.
art school is the place you hope to belong at least once, since your parents’ house wasn’t it and neither was middle to high school. you hold your mask tightly against your face and hopes no one can see the cracks of it; you hope that they don’t see through your put together façade to find the nervous wreck that you’re inside, to realize how much you calculate and overthink every smile and every gesture that you make, every word that leaves your mouth. you hope that they don’t find out that whenever you’re stressed enough, you turn into a raven, proving that you aren’t quite human if your strength wasn’t enough evidence of it.
v - there’s a place that your dad mentions when you stop by for a visit, working on sculptures together like you used to when you were a kid.
he doesn’t downright tell you to go, but you can read between the lines anyway— in the you’re looking for a new job, aren’t you? they might have a place for you there if you wanted to check it out. you know that he doesn’t know how much the words hit a sensitive spot; the implication that there’s no place for you there, neither with them and perhaps neither in dublin, but it doesn’t mean that they hurt any less.
you smile and tell him that you might actually— yeah, they might have a place for me there.
PANTHEON: celtic
CHILD OF: morrigan
POWERS: avian shapeshifting – can turn herself into a raven; enhanced strength – has more strength than the average person; natural battle instincts.
STRENGTHS: kindhearted, hardworking, is good at anything that involved hand and crafts.
WEAKNESSES: turns into a raven when her anxiety levels are high enough, hyper selfware

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Lucius Zephaniah Laufeyson, a 26 year old son of Loki. He is a Bartender at Visión / Ilusión.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Lee Know - Straykids
CHARACTER NAME: Lucius Zephaniah Laufeyson ; (if one name only: Lucius Laufeyson )
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: December 25, 1998
PLACE OF BIRTH: California
OCCUPATION: Bartender in Visión / Ilusión, Night Club
HEIGHT: 172 cm
WEIGHT: 66 kg
DEFINING FEATURES: Lucius boasts a youthful countenance adorned with sharp features, including high cheekbones and a well-defined jawline. His physique is athletic and sculpted, radiating strength and vitality. A subtle reminder of his past is found in the small scar that graces the bridge of his nose, accompanied by another faint mark at the right corner of his forehead. Adding an air of intrigue to his appearance is a captivating tree branch tattoo that winds elegantly from his shoulder to his chest.
PERSONALITY: Lucius is defined by his sharp wit and biting sarcasm, often engaging in playful banter with those he holds dear. With close friends, his humor takes on an affectionate edge, revealing a teasing attitude that adds warmth to their interactions. However, when conversing with strangers, he tempers his demeanor, though his signature sarcasm remains ever-present—a trait he inherited from his father and has embraced wholeheartedly. To many, Lucius presents himself as a laid-back individual, exuding a carefree charm.
HISTORY:
"Where did he go?" This question lingered in Lucius's mind as he settled onto a bench, his gaze fixed on the police station in the distance. He had been there for hours, contemplating whether he should run to the authorities for help. His father had been missing for far too long. While it was typical for him to vanish for hours or even a day, weeks? Something must have happened... But how could he explain that his father—Loki, the God of Mischief—had suddenly disappeared? And would his own father even show up in the police database? How could a mere mortal hope to find a God?
So, Lucius left and continued to live—surviving, hunting.
He recalled every lesson his father had imparted: how to shapeshift and how to deftly escape perilous situations during a fight. Loki had ensured that Lucius interacted with animals that would aid him in evasion—snakes, rats, dogs, cats; you name it. (Though he was too frightened to touch some of the more intimidating creatures.)
But rather than resorting to violence, he relied on these skills to survive. Stealing from strangers became his way of life.
This was his existence now. Along the way, he met a friend—not through a mutual desire to steal but rather as a result of an ill-fated attempt to pilfer from her. Unfortunately for him, he got caught by the girl and, in a moment of panic, accidentally reverted to his human form. To his surprise, instead of calling the police, she let him go and even offered him food. From that day forward, they forged an unexpected friendship. Thanks to her, he found the courage to join her on an adventure to Mount Phoenix. He was growing weary of stealing anyway.
PANTHEON: NORSE
CHILD OF: LOKI
POWERS: Shape-shifting (only into animals that they have touched), masters of disguise. Some have the ability to slightly alter their physical appearance by changing their hair or eye colour.
STRENGTHS:
1. Cunning: Lucius possesses a keen intellect that enables him to outsmart others with his clever tactics. This sharpness was honed from a young age, allowing him to survive by deftly pilfering from unsuspecting strangers.
2. Shape-shifting: With the extraordinary ability to transform into any animal, Lucius can seamlessly evade danger or infiltrate various situations. This remarkable skill empowers him to manipulate circumstances to his advantage, slipping through the cracks of adversity with ease.
3. Confidence: Radiating an aura of self-assuredness, Lucius commands both respect and trepidation from those in his presence. His steadfast confidence empowers him to face even the most daunting challenges.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Lucius has honed his shape-shifting abilities since his teenage years, using them as a means of survival, often resorting to theft. However, despite his talent for transformation, he lacks any knowledge of physical combat or self-defense, relying solely on his instincts to escape and evade danger.
2. The sudden disappearance of his father has left a profound mark on Lucius, instilling in him a deep-seated fear of abandonment. As a result, he struggles to forge meaningful connections with others, finding it challenging to fully trust anyone. This emotional barrier prevents him from opening up and forming lasting relationships.
3. Lucius often grapples with understanding the emotions of those around him. He tends to rely heavily on facial expressions to gauge how others feel, which can lead to misunderstandings. His difficulty in interpreting hidden emotions makes it especially challenging for him to interact with individuals who mask their true feelings, leaving him feeling isolated and uncertain in social situations.

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Choi Hakkun, a 24 year old son of Ogmios. He is a Manager at Visión / Ilusión.
IN CHARACTER
FC NAME/GROUP: Kim Seungmin - StrayKids
CHARACTER NAME: Choi Hakkun
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: September 22, 2000
PLACE OF BIRTH: South Korea
OCCUPATION: Manager in Visión / Ilusión, Night Club
HEIGHT: 5'10 ft
WEIGHT: 60 kg
DEFINING FEATURES: Hakkun has a rather piercing gaze that is seen more often on his face than a smile. He is known for his thick brows and the scar that cuts the left one in half. While it adds to his intimidating aura, its origin doesn't exactly hold anything interesting. When you ask him about it, he comes up with a cool lie instead of offering the very pathetic truth. As for tattoos, he has one of a lotus on his wrist which is often hidden under his watch. It has a significant meaning that he doesn't share with just about anyone.
PERSONALITY: Hakkun is known to be detached and calculated, two characteristics that he personally considers as requirements in the fast-paced business industry due to his mother's upbringing. From a businessman's standpoint, he sees most of the people around him as merely pawns in the game he's playing, causing him to only pick out the pieces that will benefit him in the long run while completely ignoring anything else that will hinder him from claiming victory. From this, it's easy to realize that Hakkun is a selfish individual who only truly cares about himself and where he's headed. He is also a sore loser who gets a little too upset when he doesn't achieve the results he wants.
Aside from this, Hakkun is terrible at social cues and could barely tell when someone is joking or being sarcastic. The punchline of jokes also go over his head very easily, so confusion will often be his response to people who tend to joke around.
Although Hakkun seems to be a robot with nothing but his given goals and objectives, he actually cares about people who manage to snake their way into his heart. It's difficult to do so, but if one was to take their time with him, then he will come to learn that he actually loves people fiercely and desires it more than anything.
Perhaps, in some way, he just hasn't realized that all of this was because he wanted love more than anyone else.
HISTORY: First thing you must know about Choi Hakkun is that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Seeing as his mother was a well-known COO in the business industry, it only makes sense that his life was similar to that of Hollywood celebrities. Although he wasn't exactly the flashy type when it comes to his wealth, he still spends a ton of his money without so much as caring about saving it. He still goes out of his way to own the best bag, the best shoes, the best clothes, and the best toys. He doesn't show them off, but he still hunts them down— making him no different than soulless billionaires.
Second thing you must know is that Hakkun has only known his mother ever since he was a child. His father was never a topic in their household, making him near to non-existent if it weren't for the fact that his genes were very much in his blood. It would be obvious in the ridiculous tantrums he'd have as a child, his cries, somehow, instantly convincing everyone in the room to give into his demands. A lot of his babysitters and teachers would have stories about being unable to resist him and completely forgetting how they were swayed. "I'm genuinely confused. I have always made sure to teach the kids the concept of no meaning no, but when it comes to Hakkun ... it's like I'm stuck in a trance. I could never say no to him."
And lastly, Hakkun doesn't actually use his godly abilities often. "I got to where I was without the use of borrowed power," Hakkun's mother would tell him at a young age, "this power is of my own creation, so you best not disappoint me, Hakkun." Ever since then, Hakkun would learn to master the art of persuasion on his own until he was fully capable of charming and manipulating his way into anything. While he does still use his powers from time to time in order to boost his chances, he tries his utmost best to avoid doing so.
Just so his mother acknowledges him; regards his existence as her little boy rather than another trophy to her collection.
Perhaps, as pathetic as it may seem, all of it was for love.
But eloquence doesn't exactly come with love now, does it? No, Hakkun is a child of Eloquence because he uses his mind to connect with people, not his heart. So when Hakkun's mother dies from an illness that none of their wealth could save her from, Hakkun doesn't cry. Instead, he persuades himself to continue what she started and climb up even higher than she had.
Love isn't inheritable, after all. Goals are. And what else does one do with inheritance? Use it.
PANTHEON: Celtic
CHILD OF: Ogmios
POWERS: He has the supernatural ability to charm, persuade, and practically manipulate anyone into agreeing with him by simply using his voice. Even when he says things in such a crude manner, his power can stir the conversation easily towards his favor and benefit. People are made to think it's his words that are persuasive, but in reality, they are practically under his hypnosis simply by listening to his voice.
STRENGTHS: Socializing - This only applies to people that benefit his line of work. In casual interactions, he is not the best at them since he will most defini speak in monotone.
Persuasion - Even without using his powers, Hakkun is quite skilled at persuasion. He always chooses his words wisely, making sure that he csn have anyone he desires wrapped around his finger with just mere conversations.
Strategizing - He is no son of Athena, but due to his obvious desperation to climb to the top, he has trained himself to become a master at coming up with effective plans. He takes everything into consideration and doesn't rush headfirst into battle without being prepared. If he has no schedule or plan for the day, he will crash out.
Piano - Although Hakkun has never shown it in public, he is actually very good at playing the piano. His reason as to why he doesn't mention it to anyone remains to be a mystery.
WEAKNESSES: Socializing - Again, he is not actually good at this outside of work. If you are to put him in a social interaction for the sake of making friends, he would just be glaring at the other person the entire time.
Physical Fights - If someone were to challenge Hakkun to a dual that involved brawn rather than brain, he would immediately refuse since he was more than aware of his inability to fight. He cannot persuade anyone using his fists, after all. Plus, he focuses too much on winning and attacking that he forgets to dodge most of the time.
Lack of Patience - Hakkun is actually very impatient. For him, time constantly feels like it's running out and it causes him to become too antsy and panicky when he wastes it. This would lead to messy plans and wrong decisions, all of which Hakkun does his best to prevent but often fails to.
Emotions - Hakkun avoids emotional input in anything he does. If he starts to actually feel something, his extreme confusion towards that feeling will most likely send him spiralling and it can lead to many of his plans getting ruined. Think of a robot shortcircuiting due to too much data!

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Arami Amanokawa, a 25 year old daughter of Susanoo. She is a Marine Operations Specialist at Phoenix University.
FC NAME/GROUP: Kazuha / LE SSERAFIM
CHARACTER NAME: Arami Amanokawa
AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 25 / October 15
PLACE OF BIRTH: Shimane Prefecture, Japan
OCCUPATION: Marine Operations Specialist at Phoenix University
HEIGHT: 5'7" (170 cm)
WEIGHT: 112 lbs (51 kg)
DEFINING FEATURES: A faint, wave-shaped scar along her left shoulder from a near-drowning accident during a field expedition. Wears a braided storm-gray bracelet made from her mother’s old fishing net. No tattoos.
PERSONALITY:
Arami carries herself with calm precision, thoughtful and strategic in most situations. She’s the person you want in a crisis—clear-headed, grounded, and quietly confident. She thinks before she speaks, listens before she acts, and reads the emotional currents in a room like weather patterns. That said, she’s not cold—just measured. Her empathy runs deep, and when someone earns her trust, they’ll find a steady, loyal presence who genuinely wants to understand and uplift the people around her.
Outside of high-stakes moments, Arami has a dry wit and a playful edge that surprises people. She enjoys quiet joys: sunset swims, late-night ramen, bad reality TV, and spontaneous karaoke nights (which she’ll deny enjoying afterward). Though she still struggles with long-term change and sometimes pushes herself too hard, she’s learning to let go, laugh, and live in the moment. After all, even storms pass—and sometimes, she just wants to dance in the rain.
HISTORY:
Arami Amanokawa was born during one of the fiercest typhoons to hit Shimane’s coast in decades. Her mother, Kaede Amanokawa, a folklorist and university professor, raised her alone and surrounded her with myths—particularly those about the sea and storms. What Arami didn’t know until her early teens was that one of those myths was real: her father was Susanoo, the Shinto god of storms and seas.
As a child, Arami often wandered the coast, drawn to crashing waves and the scent of lightning in the air. By the time she was a teenager, water would ripple away from her hands, and electrical storms seemed to follow her emotions. Her mother finally confessed her divine parentage after Arami caused a blackout during a moment of grief-fueled rage. The truth frightened her—but also gave her clarity.
At 18, she left home to study marine systems and environmental science. Her drive to understand the natural forces of the sea gave her a purpose—and a way to keep her powers in check. Now 25 and working at Phoenix University, Arami manages field research and marine logistics. She keeps her lineage a secret, preferring to appear capable through discipline rather than divinity. But in a city like Mount Phoenix, full of gods and their children, the tides are shifting—and her storm may not stay buried much longer.
