"ace people can still have sex" and "aro people can still be in relationships" are objectively true statements. this is because people can do whatever the fuck they want forever regardless of their label/orientation. however some of you have GOT to get your shit together and stop using those statements to undermine larger conversations about aspec identity. following up "ace people don't owe you sex in a relationship" with "ace people can still have sex in a relationship though!" is not fucking helpful! yes it's true. yes it's a reality for many people. however if we used our fucking brains for a second and thought about how following up "people don't have to conform to societal expectation" with "but people can still conform!! don't worry they can still conform!!!!" is counterproductive and very frustrating for a lot of people then we could get back to the actual point which is not "aspec people can still have sex/be in relationships" but "aspec people can do whatever they want with their relationships and their bodies". which they can, by the way. they can do whatever they want forever. and you should give them 200 dollars every time you see them for dealing with this shit

wheres my mad pride for phobias what whaaaaat /silly

but really though, people need to be more serious about phobias sometimes :/ it sometimes gets stripped down to "just a fear" and it is way way more than that. when its just seen as a fear it can really make it seem like its something we need to just get over or its not a big deal when the fear is so so intense. and thats not to say people shouldnt be allowed to be light hearted about phobias! i joke about ours a lot and even do some things i know will trigger them because i still want to do the thing. but please see phobias as more than "just a fear"

In reference to the prev tags, the simple answer is yes! The base of this term is "formed due to a need for companions/companionship" and so however that relates to your plurality is of course perfectly fine! I did make this term originally for us since we identify with our plural origin being due to needing to fill a companion void in the outerworld but it makes complete sense that it can also apply to the innerworld. (Now that I think about it that might apply to some of our headmates!)

So if anyone else sees this just know that the 2nd sentence of the term description is more of providing context or an example rather then stating a hard fact for the term definition. I'll probably change/add something in the Pluralpedia post (please don't change it yourself, I will do that) to reflect that.
