im genuinely just sick to my stomach about everything going on right now, I hope you all are doing ok. as someone who has been a fan of 5sos for the past 7 years, it’s easy to take their side, in hopes that it isn’t true. BUT we also have to think of the people who came out about this. yes, some of the stuff has been denied and false but not everything has been addressed yet. im just heartbroken right now. let me know if anyone needs to talk🖤

Just because the accused comes out and says something is untrue does not mean it is.

I desperately want to give michael the benefit of doubt because of how much 5sos’s music has meant to me, but I cannot discount the ones who have spoken out.

Right now, we need time as a fanbase to figure out what is going on and get real answers from each and every member, as these allegations should not be taken lightly.

Whether the events are true or not (fully or even partially), it’s a heavy topic and needs to be treated as such.

Okay can we acknowledge that 5sos is literally one of the most genuine and humble bands in the industry right now? They care about our mental health, will do anything to see us smile, and aren’t ever fake. The music industry hasn’t killed their self-worth or their friendship at all. They are still the same four boys they were over 8 years ago…..yet they don’t get the recognition they deserve and its honestly not fair.

I hate when people say “why didn’t Luke let the others sing more on the album :(” like he stood with a bat in front of the mic in the studio refusing to let anyone else in to sing

5sos would be making history if this error was reversed and the 10k counted. They would be the first and ONLY band to have all four of their first full length albums debut at number #1 on the US charts. This is literally music history that could potentially be in books one day! Art majors (who emphasize in music) may one day study these things! This isn’t because we’re disappointed we may have gotten 2nd and we’re mad. This is just general fairness and the potential to make history.
