#OPENMICNIGHT is happening between the 11th-16th of June 2018!

It’s that time again! The Swinging Sinnetts Jazz Lounge is hosting its bimonthly Open Mic Night (once every two months), meaning any member of the public will have the opportunity to perform on stage!

DAY 1: Flyers and Posters.

You’re handed a flyer or you see a poster advertising the event, whats your initial reaction? Do you decide to go as a performer?

DAY 2: Decisions, Decisions.

You’re performing on stage, great! Now you just need to decided what your performance will be. The Open Mic Night isn’t just for singing, you can do whatever you want! Sing, dance, tell jokes, do magic, anything! Just make sure its family friendly, Open Mic Nights are the only time kids are allowed in the Jazz Lounge past 8pm.

DAY 3: Sign Me Up!

You’ve worked out your act, just gotta sign up! Go to the Hostess and do a quick rehearsal on stage for her.

DAY 4: Dress To Impress

Great you’re all signed up, but what are you going to wear for the big night?

DAY 5: SHOWTIME!

It’s time for the show! All the guests are seated and the curtain is up, time to for your performance! Break a leg!

Day 6: A Night Out.

Your performance is over! What do you do now? Do you just leave or do you stick around and watch the other performances? All performers are treated to a free meal.

Your character has just been invited to the ball! What’s their reaction, their first thoughts?

DAY 2: Who should I ask?

Well now that your invited, you’ll need a date (or a friend to go with, if you prefer.) Interact with other artists and draw/write how they ask them out!

DAY 3: What to Wear?

A stunning outfit to steal the spotlight! Draw/write your character in their ball outfit

DAY 4: The Big Night

The night as come! You’re all arriving at the ball, what’s your characters reaction, what’s the first thing they do? Eat all the food? Get blackout drunk?

DAY 5: Would you like to Dance?

Lastly, draw your character dancing with their partner, or enjoying time by themselves!
