"It happens when you meet a catch like me, you can't help but see me everywhere. The curse of being so handsome and unforgettable." Many would find Poseidon's playful ego and confidence annoying but thankfully, he knew despite his hard exterior, Phobetor could banter with the silly god easily. His grin never leaving his lips as he trailed his hand over his whiskey glass, eyes never leaving the god next to him.

"Oh well I never say no to hug!" The silly god pulled the goddess in for a tight embrace. Poseidon was a well known cuddle-bug, always down for a hug or cuddle from just about anyone. As they embraced, he couldn't help but speak up; "Wow Isis, you smell great! What fragrance do you wear? It's probably expensive, you look like a very classy goddess." Always the jokester and silly man he pulled away from the goddess with a playful but truthful grin on his face.

"Thanks for the hug, mate. To be fair I always look like I need a hug, because I do. I love hugs! So if you ever need a hug or dheering up, I'm usually at the firehouse or annoying Hera at City hall." He gave the other goddess a wink as he put his hands in his uniform pockets.

"Perhaps not but, that doesn't mean I can't do something nice for you, Doc." Poseidon grinned as he pulled her onto the deck of his sail boat. The two needed a getaway so, he figured a day on the water together - just the two of them - would be a great way to relax. "Besides, I wanted to go sailing and you looked like you could use a break from the mainland." Once they were settled in he brought her hand to his lips, leaving a soft kiss on her knuckles as he moved to set the boat on it's way.

As always, the summer gala this season was above his expectations. He knew the council would do a wonderful job planning and with all the new faces around the city, he knew he’d have a wonderful time introducing himself to new people and catching up with old friends. Poseidon hadn’t planned on staying out so late though, the event was just about over and the crowd had dwindled greatly. As one of the last few in the ballroom that evening he thanked the bartender and tipped them happily before turning to the first people he ran into. The god was craving some greasy food after indulging in the bar all evening, the food served was delicious as always but nothing beat a greasy midnight snack.

Summer Gala 2021 🌊

Poseidon arrives alone, his two lovers were off doing their own thing and if one thing kept the trio going, it was their healthy understanding that love is limitless. Especially for three gods that have lived many years apart and together. He’s excited to catch up with many friends, as he’s been tied down by his work with the mortals and his work as Fire Chief. It’ll be nice to let loose and have a fun night with the people of the island. Sei is dressed very nicely, not one to skimp when it comes to formal dress. He likes his casual clothes but he cleans up very well, as shown by his chic, dark blue, three-piece suit and designer black Oxfords. All in all, he’s here for a good time and is really not in the mood for anyone to mess with his good vibes.

Poseidon held up his hands in defense as Amatersu turned her attention to him. He’d hoped he’d covered his tracks enough by hiding behind his sister’s council title. What the god was curious about was how easily the goddess could tell he’d forged his sister’s signature. 

His ears lit up red as he scratched at his neck in embarassment. It was no secret Poseidon was mischevious and a bit annoyed by Hera taking his council seat, hence why he was still around the council hall when he didn’t belong. Usually he was only there to annoy Hera but, he saw the oppourtunity to have some fun as well, so when he saw the request on the main meeting desk waiting to be discussed, he took it upon himself to approve it with a forged Hera signature.

“Look, I know I’m not supposed to mettle since I’m not an official council member anymore but I knew you guys would veto it. None of you know how to have fun and I thought the kids would have a fun time!” Sei shrugged and avoided Ama’s gaze as he shoved his hands in his pockets, looking anywhere but at the goddess in front of him.

“I was only gone for a week or two,” Amaterasu spoke emphatically as she led the taller Greek god away from the still being cleaned up council hall. Who knew an indoor storm would actually take weeks to mop up?

“And I had hoped things wouldn’t be too bad in my return.” She gives a shake of her head, though there was only an exasperated look on her face. “Hera being careless doesn’t seem likely dear, but I’ll remind her we have the hooks on the tables for a reason.” She peruses the list attached to her clipboard for the day and was reminded of the reason why she sought him out in the first place.

“But a stormy council chamber is the least of my concerns at the moment, Poseidon.” She gestured at an item in her list. “Did you really sign off a request of a whole five blocks for a street pool party?”

He fell into a cycle of cowardness, at least when it came to himself. Nothing could hold him back if someone threatened the people he loved, he just didn't care to fight for himself anymore. Too many years of exhaustingly keeping up appearances with his family left him numb to their harsh words. Besides, it's not like he really cares what Ares of all people thinks of him.

Sunshine Festival 2021 - Charity Firetruck Wash!

As apart of this year’s Sunshine Festival, the MPFD will be hosting another Charity Firetruck Wash! Fire Chief, Poseidon - posted this flyer all over the island, as well as had them handed out at the beginning of the festival! It will only be available for 2 days as the MPFD has work to do so enjoy it while it’s here!

Hello everyone! Nyx here~ as I am on hiatus during this year’s festival I will not be available to run the raffle like I did last year. However, because the Firetruck wash was such a hit last year, it will be reappearing this year as well! BUT! There will be no raffle, the wash will simple exist to be used for threads. All of the firehouse family has been “voulun-told” to participate by Sei and since it is only the last 2 days of the festival he is expecting all member of the MPFD to participate. 

Volunteers are welcome but please be realistic! Not everyone can volunteer. Also, as there was some confusion last year I would like to make some notes about what you can expect at this “booth” for the festival!

The basis of the firetruck wash is really just for people to bring their cars and have them get washed by volunteers and staff, with added perks when you donate extra money as stated on the flyer. All staff and volunteers will wash cars and be available for pictures on the firetruck as well. If you have any questions feel free to message me on Discord at Nyx#2757, I will be available there more frequently!

Lastly, just have fun! I hope everyone and their muses enjoy the festival and have a wonderful time! I hope to be around for a few things here and there as part of the festivites but irl is kinda crazy right now~

A low hum of classical music flowed through his kitchen, echoed by the ocean waves not far from his open balcony doors. Poseidon strode around the space, donned in nothing but a pair of low-slung gray sweat pants. His hair was a mess from sleep as he put together a breakfast. He’d hoped he’d have enough time to finish up before Yixing awoke but it seemed his plan was foiled as he heard the padding of his lover’s feet making their way into the kitchen. Sei had two steaming hot cups of coffee already made on the island behind him as he flipped pancakes on the stove.

As if in their own precious bubble, he couldn’t help but relax into the god’s touch as he wound arms around him and rested his chin on his shoulder. Sei reached for one of his hands and brought it to his lips for a quick kiss before getting back to work.
