More cosplay pics of mine for @renegade-shepard, my second favorite Shepard (the first is my gf, sorry bro).

Oldie but a goodie!  My Tech-priest from Warhammer 40k!  If you go to google search and look up “tech-prest costume,” I’m a good chunk of the first few rows of search results (including my older variations of this).  This is the piece that got me serious about cosplay, and won me tons of awards.  It’s a good 40lbs, and has been retired due to age and me knowing better about construction and such.  But she (yes, it’s a she) will forever hold a special spot in my heart.

It’s a huuuge linen robe, with 3 fans, a bunch of LEDs, robot noises that are sensitive to my movements, a voice changer, 22 batteries to run all the electronics (i actually understand electronics now, so that won’t happen again), and it’s awful to wear.  But shockingly, it’s super easy to see out of.  Of all my masked costumes (beside my mass effect helmets), it’s the easiest to see.  The LEDs for the eyes I set in the center of the lenses, and my eyes fall closer together, so I don’t even really see them at all.  And the mask has 3 fans in it, so it’s pretty decent on the breathing and it’s anti-fog too.  The worst part is the weight, and how wide it is with that claw and servo-skull.

The Imperial Guard fellow is my very wonderful friend who’s in the US Coast Guard :)
