Thomas nodded. That sounded like Washington. He was a great leader but liked to hold his information close to his chest. “I’m surprised he didn’t tell you. You seem to know everything these days.” Thomas used to be jealous of their relationship. “Does he know … about .”

Alex shrugged. Washington did trust him with a lot. Yet he hadn’t trusted him with his greatest secret. “No,” he admitted. “Nobody knows besides you. I don’t really have anyone to tell.”

“I find that hard to believe.” Thomas said without thinking, “I mean, look at you?” He scoffed before clearing his throat awkwardly. “Would you -uh - like to take the lead on this one? I don’t mind. Besides, it seems like you have more of a grip on this case than I do.”

Thomas’ smile dropped as he suddenly reminded of why she was actually there, “Yes, of course. I’m not one to kiss and tell, and besides it’s late. I wouldn’t dare throw a lovely woman such as yourself out on a cold night like this one.” Thomas tried to hold back the sudden rush of nerves he was feeling. But with Eliza lying on his chest like that, he was positive she could probably hear his racing heart.

Thomas chuckled, “Of course not. Even if I was, I would kick them out for you.” He told her, before leaning down and hesitantly pressing a kiss to her cheek. “I know it’s awfully odd of me to say, but thank you . . . For this.”

Thomas left the other man’s desk with a million questions and thoughts in his head. When the work day was nearing to an end, he grabbed the work files and headed back to Hamilton’s desk. He sat down without being asked to and faced the man in question. “So, this case, is it important? Because, to be honest, I don’t know why we’re working on it.” Thomas was still reeling from the earlier information but he was going to try his best to stay focused on work.

Thomas’ smile fell lightly, his reality crashing back down on him. This had just been for show. Eliza wasn’t his. “Well, we can’t have that.” He mused. “We’ll get you back home safely.” He promised her, but still his arm wrapped around her waist just a little tighter.

“Of course.” Thomas nodded and pulled his hand away. “Uhm, i’ll get right on that case and- maybe we can discuss it later?” Thomas raised an eyebrow, and looked into Alexander’s eyes. The question was weighted and he wondered if the other man would catch on.

He couldn’t keep from smiling into their kiss and when she pulled away he chuckled gently. “I could say the same thing about you, darling.” Thomas kissed her cheek and then along her jaw before pulling out of her and lying alongside her on the bed. Before he cold stop himself, he blurted, “Would you like to stay the night?”

“It’s ok.” Thomas gave Alexander a small smile, “It’s ok. I’ll take care of you.” He stopped short, surprised at the words he hadn’t planned on saying. “I-i mean I’ll make sure it doesn’t get out. You’re not the absolute worst person to work with.” He smiled trying to cover up his previous statement.

Thomas reached down between their bodies to where they met to increase the friction and pleasure for Eliza as he sped up his pace. It didn’t take long for him to feel so overwhelmed with pleasure that he pushed himself over the edge and came inside her screaming her name.

The older man almost outed him right there. Alexander wasn’t supposed to be here. He was breaking laws and Thomas lived for the laws this country was founded on. But then, Alex touched him, and it was like his whole body filled with endorphins. He couldn’t take his eyes off the spot where their skin met and he twisted his hand around to hold Alex’s, surprising even himself, when he answered. “I won’t. I won’t tell anyone. Your secret is safe with me.”

Eliza’s smile only fueled his actions and he slowed his pace to lean down and kiss her lips. This kiss wasn’t like any they had shared before, this one was slow and passionate, and for some reason, Thomas felt this one a lot deeper. As his feelings overwhelmed, he felt himself starting to get close. He pulled away slowly and started to kiss towards her ear. “Eliza, i’m so close.” He whispered to her.

“I definitely wasn’t planning on it.” Thomas’ accent thickened as he stopped focusing on his words. The feel of her was just too amazing to focus on anything else but the woman in front him. As he looked down at her, seeing such an intense look of pleasure on her face, he suddenly felt the urge to caress her face. So he did, reaching a hand down and touching her softly, almost begging for her to keep her eyes on him. Without breaking eye contact, he tilted his head slightly and kissed the inside of her leg.

Thomas looked around the office, making sure no one else was listening in, before he lowered his voice. “You’re not supposed to be. Do you know how much trouble you could be in?” He whispered earnestly. For some reason, instead of being angry that an Omega was breaking laws, he was more worried. Worried for Alexander’s safety. He looked around again, all of his senses on high alert now, “Hamilton, you’re endangering you’re own life.”

It was nearly undetectable. Nearly. But his ears were so tuned to hearing that familiar sign of comfort that it was picked up almost immediately. Thomas was confused at first, not realizing it had come from Alexander, and rose his head slowly to look around the office. One of his associates could easily have one of their Omegas visiting, but he didn’t see anyone he didn’t recognize. But then it hit him. The new smell. The odd behavior. Purring. Thomas’ eyes widened as he looked up at Alexander with new eyes. “You- you’re a-” He couldn’t even form the words.

Thomas, struck with a sudden idea, went back to his desk, grabbed the paper work, and proceeded to sit down in front of Alexander’s desk. He didn’t say a word as he flipped through the documents, just waited for him to become annoyed with his silent presence.

As the unfamiliar smell continued to assault his nose, Jefferson nodded. “Fine, i’ll just have to figure it out myself then.” He smirked and leaned closer to him over the desk. He took a deep breath, the smell was intoxicating, before speaking, “So, did you want to go over this stupid information or am I just going to have to carry the project like I always do?”
