Prime angst Shinbaku content is if Shinsou uses his quirk on Bakugou and just breaks.

It happens during a fight, they just keep yelling and arguing and Shinsou knows he’s hitting his limit, he’s going to snap.

And he does.

The next time Bakugou starts to speak he yells back, “shut the fuck up already!”

He watches as his eyes go blank and his body goes slack.

Immediately Shinsou realizes what he’s done and releases the quirk, but the damage has been done. 

Before he knows what he’s doing he’s sobbing out apologies and running back to his dorm room.

He refuses to speak to his boyfriend after that, even when Bakugou pursues him, even when he gets in his face and yells out of frustration. The only time he nearly does talk to him is when Katsuki starts to cry, stuttering out apologies as if it was his fault Shinsou had fucked it all up.

But just as he’s about to tell him it’s fine, it’s okay, he remembers the look of shock and betrayal on Katsuki’s face after he stopped his quirk.

He keeps his mouth shut and walks away.
