with summer just around the corner, isabella found herself spending a day on the beach. it was the perfect day to soak up some sun and maybe wade into the water later on. with school just out, the beach buzzed with students enjoying the start of their freedom as well. stretching out on her blanket, isa pulled out her phone to snap a photo of the sparkling waves. however, just as she was about to take the shot, someone stepped directly into the frame. " hello? " she called out, her tone light and teasing as she tried to grab their attention. ——- When he had a moment, alister would end up just waltzing through the neighbourhood on a nature walk if the weather was good. it was relaxing and quite calming for him as someone who tended to be lost in his head a lot, over thinking and much more. so today was no different - with a bad on his shoulder he waltz along, letting his mind wander and all the emotions take over for a brief moment. a voice pulled him out and alister stood for a moment, collecting himself before looking to see who it was. the woman's voice sounded a bit distressed so his brow furrowed and he listened to what she asked. ❝  i do, back at my place. i was debating getting a cat — but the past couple years here, it slipped my mind. i had cats at my last place in new york but gave them to a friend. ❞ he shared, gently pulling at the band of his silver watch. ❝  i live around, so i could rush back quick and get it. how many cats are there ? ❞

Many of Ramsey’s days off were spent at her moms; they had been bonding more lately and since they lived close it was easy to just walk over to visit. However as soon as Ramsey was about to head up her driveway after such a visit; she heard a noise and was almost startled. “What?” She asked out loud as she followed the noise and saw a few kittens and their mom in a bush. “ oh my god “ she replied after looking at them a moment and scrambled to try to find something to catch them in so they wouldn’t be outside for too long.

After looking through her house she couldn’t seem to find anything useful. Not even a cardboard box and she walked back out to see if she could call someone for help. It was only when she heard footsteps that she was pulled from her spot next to the bushes. “ excuse me? This is gonna seem random at first but do you have a box or basket? Ideally a cat carrier would be best but I’m willing to try anything “

——- A soft warm smile flashed over alister's face at lucy's glee. if she was happy and having a nice time, who was he to say no to watching the stingray a bit longer. his gaze went from her to the stingray and then back to her - his hands placed in his pants pockets as he gave a little nod of his head. ❝  alright, we can definitely watch it go over once more before we move on. this is a day to enjoy ourselves, right ? ❞ gently he stood with her and watched, it was rather calming to see them swim around in the tank.

—- B R E I F   B A C K G R O U N D  —-

alister emerson zachary fox was born in london, england as the second into a family of four that was originally planned to be three until an incident happened. before which he was pretty okay with his family, getting along well with his older brother at first in a hollywood famous family - basically seen as royalty in hollywood mostly due to being a british family making it big in hollywood. as alister grew he avoiding the public, not sure it was the life for him and his parents let him at first up until they had their first daughter. seeing how the effects of it all playing on his family, as he grew stayed with him until he was a teenager. figuring himself out.

during this time is when alister discovered his homosexuality and first shared with his brother, who he trusted. he ended up sharing this with their parents and then it was news - with a twist; it claimed him as bisexual and he was thrust into the public eye despite his wishes just for more fame to the fox name. he was told by his parents they supported him but he couldn't be in public so they pushed the story and then alister was apart of the dynamic of keeping a good family image and always see mostly with woman. this lead to him growing distance from the family and he barely had a connection his own sister.

as soon as he finished school at eighteen, alister briefly fell into drugs and alchol for comfort as he figured out how to get away from it all. he was rarely seen sober and this made headlines for the family they didn't want. so he was immediately banished from the family and throw into hiding. he was briefly in a mental health facility to start before he was sent to stay at a family friend's during damage control. originally the plan was for him to return, but he heard from a family friend about how the family went without him, and about a sister he didn't know he had. this sister ended up transitioning and coming out, and all alister wanted to do was be there for his now brother, guide him and remind him he wasn't alone but he knew that life wasn't good for him. seeing his young brother paraded as he was and that was all it took for him to flee back to new york and focus on himself. he stayed with a friend, cleaned up and went back to school at first thinking to write for a living but what he felt and wanting to help hit home so he wanted to be a therapist. listen and remind people they're not alone.

while finishing his studies in new york and starting his therapist career, before he'd move out to aurora bay, he finally met his little brother. they connected instantly. alister left so connected to his brother and even shared some of what happened to him and how their family banished him and basically erased his existence just for fame and their name. he also learned his own brother was removed from the family as well for similar reasons and neither regretted it as now they could be out and happy. the only thing truly haunting alister was how he was pushed to mostly be seen with woman or as if he was dating them and only the occasional guy using them for fame and money - so the idea of love scared him. otherwise he was recovering well and dropped all contact with everyone despite his young brother, changing his phone and everything. a year later when he was sure his brother was fine, alister moved out to aurora bay.

alister happily works as a therapist and living a good life in aurora bay. he managed to connect with his sister and keeps up with her and even got a handsome sum of money from the family through her that he didn't fully needed, but accepted anyway as it was a gift from a distance member. one not apart of how he grew up. he keeps his past locked away in his mind and feels happier not sharing. plus being older than the young adult he was in the public eye he's pretty sure he won't be fully recognized and even if he is, he brushes it off. his happiness is listening and offering advice to help people. more so with his diagnosed bipolar depression and general anxiety that he uses to help him understand more. so far he's been in aurora bay for three years, going on four in the fall.
